They also billed me the tax on the cancellation even though I never stayed there. Jerks.

Overview Reviews
Located in Bishop, Trees Motel is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Mountain Light Gallery and Bishop Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. Free self parking is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, however had to wait for it to be finished. Staff tried to be helpful, but seemed to be very unorganized. Location was quite even though it was along a major roadway.
Cons: Room & facilities seemed to be dated, though they did apply some new features, it is an older motel. The absence of a vent fan in the bathroom is a major annoyance & the window did not have a screen made you feel a bit uncomfortable.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The airco was very loud and the power went off in about 10mins after airco was turned on.
7,9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Small but well-appointed room. The location near the high school’s Future Farmers fields, so it’s pretty rural though near downtown.
Cons: Pricey for an older strip style motel with no pool. But all the motels in Bishop are pricey it seems.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: nothing, really. It was a disappointment. the bathroom has been updated, but is too small.
Cons: the walls were so thin that one could hear every word of a regular conversation in the adjacent room. the room was not clean. the hairdryer was missing - the wall mounted holder was there but not the hairdryer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable spacious room
7,1 Good
Cons: Rate too high for accommodations...reasonable rate $80.

Pros: No breakfast. A little bit of a walk to the downtown area...about half a mile
Cons: Everything was fine
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice for us as it was quiet and peaceful, drives to just about anything else are quick. Staff was friendly as we needed more towels for our 5 travelers. Bathroom updated nicely. Linens were nicer than expected.
Cons: It was extremely clean, but ants were a thing (we brought our snacks/ beverages in as we were on a road trip). Not enough to bother US, but just making others aware. Bathroom was nicely updated, but beds were somewhat uncomfortable. If you get back a while after dinner don't expect there to be available parking if they're fully booked.
1,0 Poor
Pros: We chose not to stay at this hotel after observing the overall condition. We are shocked this could be rated 2*.
7,5 Good
Pros: I loved the intimate environment! I walked from the motel to all the restaurants I ate at and felt very safe and comfortable in my room! I plan on staying again next month!

Went to bed, but the front desk manager came knocking on the door at 10pm asking for photo id (again?!), even though it was shown during check in. Not a pleasant stay at all. Cons: Poor breakfast. A bit expensive.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Room was clean. I liked the laminate type flooring. The bed was comfortable
Cons: The room was miserably hot when we arrived. After turning the AC on it began to slowly cool down but the AC was extremely loud and sounded like something was wrong with it. My roommate couldn't sleep because the sound kept her awake. When I tried to call the front desk, i discovered the phone didn't work. At midnight I walked to the office. It was closed and none answered when I rang the bell. Bring your own soaps and shampoo. There is a pump in the shower. I think it was an all BnB in one body and hair wash. It left my hair a frizzy mess. No plug for the tub and there was an uncovered hole where the tub flipper thing should be.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Quick check in.
Cons: Noisy air conditioner
6,7 Good
Pros: The room was nice, good size, nice shower head, and comfy bed.
Cons: First hotel I have stayed at where not only were no clean towels provided after first night, but the bed wasn't even made. Appeared the floor had not been vacuumed in awhile.

Pros: Bed was comfortable but metal frame squeezed every time you moved.
Cons: Outside property was run down and needed some TLC and maybe some flowers to cheer things up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Vintage motor court motel nicely updated with new fixtures and furnishings. Clean, fresh, spacious feel...room felt bigger than it actually was. Down comforter/silky smooth sheets. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee, tea, sweeteners/creamer.
Cons: Walls a little thin, typical for the age of the building. Nothing they can do about that! They spaced guests out to minimize noise transfer. We slept quite soundly. Our cell carrier was a little weak but using their free wifi instead fixed that issue.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was like a nice small apartment in a neighborhood. Very comfortable and clean. Quiet. Peculiar because it was not attached to the main motel, rather in a neighborhood several blocks away. Fun.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very cute quaint motel. The staff was very nice and always around. The beds were firm and sheets crisp and clean.
Cons: We couldnt find the remote for the tv, not that big of a deal for a 1 night stay.

Pros: Easy to find, on the main road into and out of Bishop, petrol station almost opposite, plenty of options to eat Clean room, breakfast was ok. Guy that checked us in had us upstairs at the back, but when i asked about somewhere to chain motorbike up for the night, he moved us to downstairs near the office so we could be nearer to bike, :)
Cons: For what it is, it was a bit over priced, had more at other hotels for a lot less not much room in the office area to eat, 2 tables 6 chairs and its full, so its get in early or eat in the room

7,5 Good
Pros: Off of main street so it was quiet.
Cons: Very old, high taxes and fees. I don't think I would stay again because of that. Breakfast is was more comical, it would have been better just not offering it.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, good location. Brewery nearby in the walking distance was great for dinner. There were many more restaurants available across the street from the brewery too.
Cons: Sink in the bathroom leaking, the toilet door opening on its own, shower is not consistently providing hot water, walls super thin that I can hear the next door and even the people up on second floor could be heard, breakfast available was more like cakes and snacks for afternoon tea. Overall, I’ve seen MUCH better Airbnb’s for the same amount of money I paid to stay here.

Pros: The jacuzzi was a nice thing after whole day of hiking and riding.

Cons: Call me and I'll tell you....but you won't !!!!

Pros: Good location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. There was a large group of young men, maybe a sports team, who consumed most of breakfast quite quickly. The kitchen staff replenished the food as fast as they could. Much appreciated.
Cons: Ice machine was broken on our floor. And our coffee cups were not replaced the second night we stayed. Also breakfast started at 7:00 instead of 6:00 which changed our departure time by an hour.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Old. Needs a facelift. Rug old and seemed dirty dark. And this was the luxury suite. Overpriced.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The beds were really nice and comfortable
Cons: The price and the pool was not open
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that it was next to a convenience store and gas station.
Cons: I asked for a lower level room because I can't do stairs very well, they stuck me in the bottom floor room 101 , my door was across from the ice machine. The entire time I was there, all I could here was people getting ice and making noise. I was not happy. The bed was not firm and my back hurt the next day.

Pros: Wasn't too expensive.
Cons: Even though it was inexpensive the room was disgusting regardless of price. The bedding has stains and rips all over it. TV, ac, shower were barely functional. Even the unused toilet paper was disgusting never thought I'd experience that.

Cons: The fridge was full of ants and the motel made no effort to clean them up, despite frequent rests. No wireless in the rooms. The 'continental' breakfast was seldom ready before 8 am.

Pros: The location was good. I liked that you could grill outside.
Cons: This establishment needs a makeover. Especially for the rates they're charging.
3,8 Mediocre

5,1 Okay
Pros: Bishop is close to Mammoth, and the motel is pretty close to the "downtown" bishop area.

Pros: Free parking
Cons: No tea coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast was in a shed. Unfriendly staff attitude of too much trouble. Drop the key in the box on the way out attitude.

Pros: Loved staying at the inn would stay again
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very quiet and Peaceful venue! The Food was always Fresh, Hot, Well stocked, and if you needed anything the staff was always ready to help. There was never a lag in food availability! Staff was friendly and always ready to make the experience a pleasant one! The flow was very good & thorough!
Cons: During Peak Breakfast times the traffic in the lounge was heavy and not quite accommodating due to size! Most of the time people didn't linger so others who wanted to sit down, were very polite, making it easier to accommodate the crowd! Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere to have breakfast!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms, lots of facilities for travelers like a wash machine and dryer. I liked the pool, the outdoor seats and the fireplaces outside the most.
Cons: Nothing. We only stayed one night and it was perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facility is modern but the landscaping and the creek that ran along side the property was awesome.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We stopped at Creekside Inn for a rest day on our recent Honeymoon. We were travelling from Fishcamp, Yosemite to Las Vegas so needed a hotel around the mid-point to break up the drive, after some investigation we settled on Creekside Inn, Bishop. The plan was to use the free washing machine and tumble dryer to clean our clothes at the same time taking a day to relax in the pool and Hot tub. For these purposes the hotel is a perfect pit stop. The hotel was really easy to find and parking was simple and felt secure. Check in was fast and the staff were friendly, The room was nice and spacious with a small balcony where we could sit and look out over the creek and fire pits in the evening. There was a fridge that we could use for drinks and food although I would turn this on when you arrive as it does take a little time to chill which is as you would expect. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were done to a high standard and exactly what we needed. We spent some time in the pool and spa in both the day and the evening and at no time were we aware of the busy road and traffic a hundred yards away which was great as we could really relax and unwind. In the evening we took a short walk through the local park and came across some mountains and were able to watch the moon come up which was great to have right on the doorstep, we were then able to retreat to the hotel and sit by some gas powered fire pits for a drink, grabbing some free cookies from reception on the way through. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and a bowling alley right next door. A short drive up the road and there is a grocery store and there are plenty of petrol stations to prepare us for our next long drive. When it came to check out we were greeted by the same level of service as we had experienced at check inn. I would highly recommend this hotel as a pit stop if you are travelling or passing through and would certainly stay here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The creek and the firepits. Fantastic breakfast. Treat for my hubbys birthday!
Cons: Hard to maintain room temp
5,8 Okay
Pros: Lovely decor, beautiful creek, free juice and cookies
Cons: The male receptionist upon our check in was very rude. We were given no information on WiFi, restaurants, breakfast, etc and had to ask, only faced with impatient and a few words each time. As young couple travelers, we were also given a room with two separate beds, which overlooks the car park and just above the breakfast lounge. This receptionist made us feel very unwelcomed and ruined the stay at an otherwise pleasant property.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Complimentary laundry was a big hit and very needed. The room was comfortable, the breakfast good and the staff helpful in suggesting restaurants.
Cons: This was a restful place that met all our needs.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very cozy and charming, just at the main road, but brings impression of the mountain cottage. Very nice interior, spacious and well equipped rooms. Comfy beds and good breakfast with home made oatmeal, yogurts and granola.
Cons: The dining area is rather small, and does not fit all guests; in the peak time you have to wait for the free tables
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff Good sized rooms Pool and creek side seating was lovely Close to restaurants and bars nearby, recommend whiskey creek restaurant and saloon, the food was fantastic and great beers.
Cons: Decor was dark Rooms could have better lighting

Pros: Great location, friendly staff and room was clean
Cons: Lumpy pillows. A little dated but no big deal
5,8 Okay
Pros: It provided a place to sleep and was close to the event we were in town for.
Cons: The first room we got smelled like smoke was told that the air conditioner was off and that it was the air freshener used. If that is what is use you need to find something with a better smell. There was an empty beer can in the drawer beside the bed. When having breakfast we were sitting at a table and there was dust under all the equipment.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Comfy bed. 10% off in denny's next door. Nice choice with continental breakfast
7,0 Good
Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: Carpet was very dirty inside the room, stains on the curtains
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: I don’t understand all the positive reviews...I traveled over 3,000 miles and this was the most expensive and worst hotel along my trip. The sink faucet moved terribly, bad beds, moist dark carpet, old, old and old. Feral cats everywhere, pool bottom horribly in need of repair, room smelled, and I didn’t even stay for breakfast I was so disgusted. The grounds were not groomed. Fake grass everywhere. I paid over $200 and I am shocked. The bathroom at the gas station just outside town was more beautiful than my own hotel. Needs an overhaul for 200+ a night....

Cons: No laundry facilities.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Food and coffee were fine, and service and staff were good too. We are early risers and everything was ready when we arrived.
Cons: The building is "dated", and while bedding and furniture were fine, it is difficult to ignore the age of the facility. The primary thing that caught my eye was the lack of a sprinkler system. I found that to be unfortunate, and will preclude us from booking this place in the future.
5,0 Okay
Pros: I slept well here and it was nice to have a variety of restaurants within walking distance
Cons: Breakfast was quite poor and the hotel was rather expensive taking into account the facilities and quality of the breakfast

8,0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed here previously at least once and will probably stay here again - which I suppose is a reasonable endorsement. There is nothing that really leaps out as being especially good, but then again there is nothing bad either. This may sound rather damning, but I have noted that reviews of some other properties in Bishop are off-putting - I think one mentioned flies and a feeble excuse about this being an obvious and unavoidable problem in the mountains (well, yes I got devoured in the mtns but don't expect this to also be an issue at a motel). So....this property feels "OK" and doesn't have anything bad that I noted....so that'll do for me. As far as I can recall, the price is fairly good, breakfast was perfectly acceptable (I always like those flavoured milks for coffee!), the aircon worked well (at 100F this really matters), I think the bed was at least OK and I didn't feel unsafe in any regard. It is situated fairly well, being within easy walking distance of plenty of eateries and "downtown". For those heading to the mountains, I think Bishop represents the best compromise of ease of access and facilities.
Cons: The room isn't especially comfortable to sit in...but to be honest this wasn't really a factor for me - I suppose one could go and sit in the reception area if one wanted. Seem to recall that wifi in the room wasn't great - but again not a major factor - and I think it is better in the reception.

Cons: The beds could have been softer.
