Cons: Bed was a bit harder than I remember most Intercontinental beds to be, and so I struggled to sleep on my side. Water in the shower seemed to cycle unexpectedly between expected temperature, hot and cold. Was not quite on the same par as the Singapore club lounges with personal recognition on returning subsequently to the lounge during the visit.

Pros: This hotel was an extremely pleasant surprise! It is on the 4th floor above a restaurant and the entry is not glamourous, but once you enter it is all very modern and comfortable. The location could not have been better, and the room was newly renovated and comfortable. We had the suite which had high quality beds, and a kitchenette (no crockery/pots though?!). It slept five comfortably and the value for money was brilliant.

Cons: The room was much smaller than was portrayed in the photos. I wasn't sure if we indeed got a "standard room" as stipulated it felt more like an attic room. Other than the lack of space, the room was good - firm beds, newly renovated bathroom etc.

Pros: Its location is excellent. Free internet was very handy.
Cons: As we had to leave before breakfast (7am) on the morning of departure, we asked the day before if we could just get something small before we left or to take with us. Our request was not appreciated or taken on board at all. We were told it had to be prepared which is fair enough but we would have been happy with some fruit even.

Cons: The room was smoking one, for me as a non-smoker it caused problems.
