Rooms are clean and comfortable and the lodge common areas were stocked with snacks, movies, and a variety of activities. The view from the decks (and hot tub) are amazing. Plus the decor throughout the lodge was eclectic and fun which added to the ambiance. Will be booking with Eldora Lodge again for sure!
Cons: The breakfast was so good, I wish they'd offer lunch too, lol!
4,5 Okay
Pros: It's in kind of a nice location. The room was clean and we had access to the deck from a back door unlike several other rooms. The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Cons: Your staff at the front desk are in need of better training. We (the customers) are not there for you, you are there for your customers.

Cons: I had 3 rooms for 5 nights. For 3 nights the air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working properly and the management said there were no other rooms to move to.Since it was quite hot in Denver some of the people moved to the other rooms we had rented. Having experienced this inconvenience certainly lessened our enjoyment of the facility and lessened the value of staying at the hotel/
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the location, came down for a show at red rocks and it's only a 12 minute drive. The size of the room was perfect, felt truly like we had a full living room, kitchen and bedroom. Perfect spot, will definitely use this hotel again
Cons: Nope!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable and the suite provided everything we needed. The fireplace was a nice touch. The breakfast food was typical and fairly good for complimentary. The happy hour was an added benefit.
Cons: I was very disappointed that the facility uses satellite service for their cable. Out of the two days we spent there, we could not view any TV programs because of poor signal because of the snow. For a place located in a state that receives a lot of snow, this would seem to be problematic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing from front desk to housekeeping to the nice gentleman plowing snow. Absolutely a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back! Thank you Julianna for being top notch!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was traveling with my husband & dtr to see a show at Red Rocks. The room was perfect for the 3 of us. We didn't expect a full kitchen & were pleasantly surprised. Also, the free dinner, drinks & breakfasts were awesome! So unexpected. We accidently left clothing in a closet when we left and received a phone call before we were too far away to come back. Thank you!!
Cons: Can't think of anything we didn't like. If we come back to Golden, we'll definitely stay there again!
10,0 Excellent

Pros: This hotel is PERFECT. Comfy rooms. Comfy bathroom. Slept so good every night. Stayed here for 3 nights w/ my boyfriend for Rezz Rocks 2 and it was only a 15 minute drive from Red Rocks venue. Del Taco & Wendy's are walking distance, same parking lot as hotel so that was really nice. Breakfast was absolutely amazing although the hash browns each morning were soggy. Orange juice did not taste right. the fruit smoothies were delicious. the egg omelets were yummy. Waffle maker was so much fun and yummy! always cold water available to anyone. Loved that they would put strawberries, lemon, and cucumber in the water. front desk was nothing but polite. Tyler at the front desk is super friendly/helpful. this hotel is around a lot of stuff, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone just vacationing in Colorado!
Cons: I did not like that the hashbrowns every morning were soggy and everyone loves hasbrowns. the orange juice also did not taste right every morning, almost like it was diluted with water. just pointing these out because breakfast at a hotel is lowkey everyone's favorite when traveling. besides that, everything was delicious.

Pros: Room was great for the price
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, great staff very friendly and accommodating. We specifically went to Colorado to fulfill a bucket list going to red rocks and when the concert was over it was about midnight when we got back to the hotel, all places to eat where closed so we figured we would grab a few items in the hotel lobby, the night clerk was so sweet he let us pick what we wanted and didn’t charge us a penny, we offered but he said “this is what Homewood Suites is about helping our customers”. Boy that made me a fan, not that we would expect that ever again, but just the idea he knew were tired, hungry and offered the food at no charge was above and beyond the call of duty. I hope he didn’t get in trouble or gets in trouble from this post. We will stay at this property again if we go back to this area in Colorado, the hotel was spotless, we were very happy with our stay. The breakfast was great also. Book a room here you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: We got there at 1030 pm exhausted. No one was at the desk and there were 3 parties waiting ( 2 ahead of us). There was a sign saying be back soon on the desk. We requested a king online only to find out that no rooms came with kings
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location, convenience. Cleanliness. Breakfast.
Cons: Mattress was to soft and sagged some.
6,3 Good
Pros: Liked facility, excellent
Cons: I did not like the fact that had everything but the cooking stove, unlike other facilities o have stayed in in similar setting you have pots and pans with a stove. I did not like the front staff when they forgot to clean our room when we left the room at 10:30am, and told them our room ready to be cleaned. We come back at 3:30pm the room was very dirty the front desk may be trainee, did not take responsibility, instead wanted to give us BS. That they have not got to it yet, at 3:30pm, yet there was no cleaning staff on the floor. We had to wait in lobby for an hour that was not a good experience when we had been out the whole running around I will have reported this.. am a member of Hilton is my preferred accommodation this wad not a good experience

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Cons: Furnishings were a little "tired".
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing food was great. Rooms were so comfy couldn’t have been a better stay. Thanks
5,8 Okay
Cons: I was very upset with my stay. we were there 2 days. When we woke up on the 2nd day they had towed our vehicles out of the parking lot without permission. We were not aware of any Parking lot work going on. Our vehicle was damaged. We feel that it should have been the management who notified Customers that their Vehicles were being towed. In addition I left a complaint with the manager and asked them to please contact me and no one did. Our Room was good but because of this issue not being resolved we will not stay there again. In addition there was a very elderly man who was disabled and they towed his vehicle out of the handicap parking. What a disappointment.

Pros: Need better wifi service
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for Red Rocks Amphitheatre ingress and egress. Close to hiking trails. No outside noise during our stay.
Cons: We stayed while some renovations were in progress. Not terrible just some extra work trucks and equipment outside. Rooms are non-smoking which is good but it appears that keeping them smelling clean is challenging in this part of CO. May be out of state perception but the unpleasant smell of cannibis (sp?) exists everywhere. Not sure what else the hotel can do in addition to their added charge for smoking in the rooms.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was helpful
Cons: value
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the extra space with the sitting area.
Cons: a mirror in the bedroom area might be helpful.
6,3 Good
Cons: Room was nice, but smelled like smoke. Front desk unable to relocate us after we prepaid for room. Wife not happy.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was good for our purpose. Breakfast was pretty standard. Rate was reasonable.
Cons: Stayed there 2 years ago and really enjoyed everything. Hoped we'd have the same experience again. Very disappointing to see how the property had gotten so "used" and dirty. The exterior had a lot of trash around parking are and building was stained and dirty. Interior floors/carpets were filthy. On our first trip the front desk people were wonderful-friendly and very welcoming. This time the front desk person barley looked at us. Never smiled. Didn't engage in any conversation. We will be traveling back to the area in a year. I'm pretty certain we will look elsewhere for accomodations. Really disappointed in how different our experience was this year.

Pros: It was quiet, breakfast was good every morning.
Cons: I work from my computer and the wifi was too slow the first day, but then was ok the next day. Room would be too small for children older than 10 or so- kids slept on sleeper couch.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was really good.
Cons: I was told I had a fake ID by the manager. When we went to check in, the lady at the front desk was having issues after looking at my ID. She called the manager and after waiting 20 minutes they came back and let me know the ID I've had for years, issued from the DMV and one that has been scanned multiple times, was a fake. Luckily we could have the room changed over to someone else in our party. But I was still outraged.

Pros: Large kitchen, tv in each room. Clean hotel. Nice breakfast with a good selection of food items.
Cons: Staff could not find a luggage transport cart for us on the day of arrival or for use the following morning. They said it was in someones room and they had no idea where it was. Also we needed an extra luggage stand to put our luggage on in our room. We were told we would have to wait until the following morning to get one. We were a party of three and I had requested there be towels for 3 people in our room. There was only 2 sets of towels in the room.
7,9 Good
Pros: It was okay, I like the kitchen addition.
Cons: The room was like 60 degrees when we got there. I turned the temp up twice, and it took "forever" to get warm.

Pros: Location, staff, breakfast and King Bed!
Cons: Price. Too expensive for the level of amenities.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location. Very close to Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I thought the breakfast choices wonderful. My husband was especially happy with the pecan waffles. I was happy with the oatmeal and pastries and choice of juices. Great Coffee, too. I also happened to witness some great hospitality and "above and beyond" by front desk employee Troy Graham. Give him a gold star. Several of the other front desk folks were very upbeat and pleasant, too. We were there 4 days so got to see a number of folks at the front!
Cons: The hot tub was on the blink the WHOLE TIME. Bummer. The heat of the pool was almost at Hot Tub Status tho.... kinda strange.....not the best "swim" .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: great breakfast. stayed to go to red rocks and it was a good location at a very fair price. Not far from the thunder national racetrack. nice breakfast that saved me money. will stay again for another concert of racetrack event
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Front desk clerk very welcoming and helpful. Bacon and scrambled eggs available on second morning.
Cons: Pool and hot tub were drained and closed during my stay. First morning breakfast had imitation sausages that were not tasty.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place.
Cons: Rate was a little high for a Hampton.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: We booked a room for a family of 5 but there were only 2 double beds. There was no hidabed or fold out couch. Staff said that booking.com was to blame for misinformation. Either way my daughter had to sleep on the floor. There was no bathroom fan and the pool was closed due to an accident. Not everything was the hotel's fault, but it made for a less than satisfactory stay.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Hated it
Cons: Front desk was the worst experience we have ever had
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet and the rooms could stay dark.
Cons: We didn't get the room cleaned for the two days. I thought that was part of the Hotel thing.... Also, there were no signs to put out on the hallway side of the door to hang a "please make up room" How is anyone to know when to make up a room??? I have a Chromebook and was never able to get WIFI.

Pros: The staff was very nice and they even let me check in 3 hours earlier than the regular check in time :) I only spend very little time in the hotel, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was good.
Cons: My room was facing a very busy street which means the noise level was kind of high. It didn't bother me too much, but might be a problem for people sensitive to noise.

Pros: Rachel at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We had got in late and needed to eat dinner. Rachel gave us a pamphlet of different restaurants in the area, and recommended a great pizza place!

Cons: The breakfast was poor on protein options.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING! I would never stay there again, even if someone else was paying for my room.
Cons: I hated everything. Entire carpet in the room completely nasty and stained. Room smelled like smoke and was non-smoking. USB chargers didn’t work. Windows so thin it sounded like it was open. Horrible part of town. Woke up to drunks fighting in lot
4,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: We had to constantly wait on the small elevator. The hallway was dark. The commode in the bathroom was the size that would normally be in an elementary school; not for adults (especially senior adults). It was too low and too small. Breakfast bar; what breakfast bar? For the price we paid for our stay, I expected a breakfast bar with meat and at least scrambled eggs on it. Not hard boiled eggs and all those bread/carbs. You should go and look at the Country Inn & Suites or the Holiday Inn group of hotels to see what a true breakfast bar looks like, and I paid a little over half the price per night that La Quinta charged. Oh, and their rooms were just as comfortable and did not smell as if an animal had been in the room. Our first room at La Quinta smelled rancid, as if an animal had an "accident" on the carpet and staff had masked it with a spray. Went downstairs and I asked for a "pet free" room and was told that because La Quinta accepts pets nationwide, they didn't set aside rooms that had never been rented to owners with pets for those of us who don't have pets. This will be our last stay at a La Quinta and I won't recommend the chain as a place to stay.

Pros: Good location to Denver Mills and quick access to freeway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maids did a good job, the room was clean and I am picky about that
Cons: Rooms are tiny. Getting a little run down. No ice machine on 1st floor. Hot tub was unusable, had an inch of scum floating on top, and no chlorine in it (I carry a small test kit to check before I will get in)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location if you are going to an event at Red Rocks. The staff is awesome. Nice pool and hot tub. Washers/dryers available. It's a drive to get to downtown but I think you can take the train from hotel to downtown area. I didn't try it this trip. Maybe next time.
Cons: Can't walk to restaurants or town. Dinner not great in hotel, but breakfast was very good. Not a a breakfast buffet, you order individual items. They do have Starbucks drinks. You need a car to get around.
7,5 Good
Pros: Like how close it is to Red Rocks.
Cons: Signage could be a little better. Hard to find after a night at Red Rocks
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It was true to the comments from trip advisor. It was very clean. So glad we had a room away from the noise. We typically prefer to have breakfast included.
Cons: We had to go out for real cream to go in our coffee.
7,1 Good
Pros: Hotel was aged and getting old and no breakfast offered.
Cons: No breakfast being offered for the price.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: Very noisy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Room size, as we wanted to do three adults to a room, but had to get an extra room instead. Not a major issue as the price was affordable.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location in proximity to Red Rocks and Golden
Cons: Dated.

Pros: the front staff was so friendly. the room was nice
Cons: the bathtub was not very clean. did not know about the $50 charge that was taken off but I did get charged for a few days.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Not many extended stay places around Denver are like this one. Was a great experience. Would recommend to others for sure.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean, quiet, warm, comfortable and the sidewalk was kept clear of ice and snow. After a long drive you could soak in the tub and still see the TV. The kitchenette in our room was used during our stay . It was great! May need a step stool for short people, but I brought my tall guy with me. Maybe a extra seat or bar stool to eat at bar/desk.
Cons: Garbage disposal had a odor. Louisiana dodge truck with ladder on his truck bed was backed up to the sidewalk, which made walking on sidewalk unsafe. Especially with the snowfall we had to avoid walking in the parking lot.

Pros: Location , decent room
Cons: Nothing

Pros: David the night staff was friendly and efficient. The laundry was free and there is a self serve store for food, medicine and personal items. There is a park next door for walking my dog. A good stay.

Pros: The location was excellent!
Cons: Nothing
4,2 Okay
Pros: Free coffee. Hand rails around tub.
Cons: Unfriendly staff, exchanging a dirty washcloth for a clean one, noisy air conditioner, maintenance gained entrance to room Without knocking to make a repair which was for another room, no shelving space in bathroom, bathtub plug would not stay down and had to run water entire time taking a bath, no broom or dustpan in room, dryers need to be cleaned out because they were full of lint, signed posted on door about people to check sprinkler system (now everyone knew the room was occupied), no computer room, was not told that the WiFi code changed on Sunday. No good morning or have a nice day, was not told what to do with garbage flow over and three HBO Cable channels with none matching cable guide. Would take used washcloths to get new ones and told there were none because it was the busy season and they were short handed. Will never ever stay in a Candlewood property again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I wasn't aware the room had a kitchenette, including a mini stove and a full-sized fridge! The laundry room had a a decent amount of machines and was free. I was VERY pleasantly surprised.
Cons: The people at the desk weren't necessarily unfriendly. It just seemed like they just didn't really like their job.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff very attentive.
Cons: Please move smoking area away from near the front door.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Since it was a suite concept, it came with a small kitchen. It was also reasonably priced. Knowing that, I tossed a few breakfast items in a bag and didn't have to leave the room for breakfast. Happy Hour worked the same way. I'll definitely go back.
Cons: It's a little hard to find since it's one block off the main road.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for a concert at Red Rocks. It is very close to Red Rocks and also to downtown Golden. It also wasn't very far to downtown Denver. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. We would stay here again.
Cons: The room only had one coffee for the coffee maker. Otherwise we really liked it here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I had to keep reentering the code every time I paused to do something,
Cons: The refrigerator’compressor going on and off.
