Location and facilities
-The location is good -compliments to the concierge who does “get it” and showed us around town on the map he provide us with.
Let me start with the fact that normally we are quite positive, never complain and always rate hotels to their price level. In this case: - Bars we’re closed for private events (2 nights in a Row) - Bed was very small (170x200cm) and after we asked, the answer was that those are the biggest they have. - beds are uncomfortable....I know it is a matter of taste, but almost no sleep for 4 nights in a row makes you wonder how other people feel. - the staff at the reception does not give you the feeling that ‘they care’. They only ask what they are suppose to, but when you provide an honest answer, they just skip to the next question on the ‘screen’ - the “Spa” is a typical hotel spa, one you can also find at a €60/night hotel and not as fancy as photographed. Besides no direction provided eg. to people which do not know that sauna’s are entered without clothing. So if you do, you will run into people wearing swimsuits. - The room was not cleaned. even while we were out for more than 8 hours during the day and the minibar was refilled (so someone must have noticed), we found the stack of towels on the floor and the bed not made at 10pm when we came back. Also something which should not happen if you advertise (in room) with a €510/night) price. Our (grand) Hyatt experiences end here
Clean facilities. Excellent buffet breakfast, if you can get it as a package deal; otherwise pricey. Staff were very friendly, however not very knowledgeable about polices, attractions, etc.
Slow service overall.
It was all good
Bar staff had wrongly charged and overcharged me. At Checkout, staff solved the problem very quickly without a problem.
