Location was great.
Check in procedure. Online check in didn't work for us.
Not much. They have a 12 checkout and a Keurig machine in the room
Everything. It's an old gigantic hotel that moves tourists through like cattle. You have to wait 10 minutes to talk to anyone at the reception. All the facilities are old and overused. They charge you $25 Euros if you check in before 3pm. My "double bed" was just two singles loosely stuck together. Everytime you moved you would sperate the beds and fall in the middle. They didn't clean the room properly so my bed was full of black hairs. Stains in the shower. For some reason, they didn't have a mini fridge or any basic amenities. The shower automatically floods whenever you turn it on. After one shower, you couldn't stand in the bathroom because of the water. I'm puzzled why they would charge $200+ a night for this. What a waste. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Location - Views from the 32nd floor - Staff
- Super small & cramped rooms - No locks on toilet/bathroom - Lack of basic tea making facilities in the room - Very expensive for what it was
Only the location was good.
We arrived 2 hours prior to check-in and were told that they cannot accommodate us earlier, that was absolutely fair, so we asked to leave our bags there and come back in couple of hours. I would never expect that from any hotel in the world - they asked 2 euros for every piece of luggage left in their storage room. That is embarrassing and unacceptable. SO we were forced to pay for it, and when we came back later, we have waited 25 minutes just to check in to our room at the receprion because of the queue. Very annoyed of such a poor service we went to our room, the double room that I have booked and noticed that it is a twin room, they have just connected 2 small beds. When I called the reception they told that there's nothing they can do. Also, it was very very cold in the room and when I called the reception because of it, they told me that going to send a technician to come and fix the air conditioner. Obviously no one appeared. The toilet door was transparent, so I was going down the reception toilet, because that was too embarrassing. Would never ever stay in this hotel in my life. Have never experienced such a shameful hotel.
The location was top for us, it was easy to get around from Alexanderplatz. The room was nice and clean and modern. The shower had great pressure and the room stayed at a nice temperature. The bed although it was two single mattresses with a topper over the two to make it one, was very comfortable as long as we weren’t lying in the middle. I would certainly recommend the Park Inn as a good place to stay.
Check in, the girl that served us didn’t make us feel overly welcome. The one request that I had made was ignored and she didn’t really seem to care. I later send review which was responded to by the reception manager, they did their best to make up for our bad experience which we thought was very nice of them.
