Pros: The location is just perfect. A step away from the Rambla and the Gothic quarter, 30min walking from the Sagrada familla, 5 min away from Place de la Catalunya. The room (junior suite) was roomy, nicely decorated with a modern style. Nice use of wood on the floor to make it more cozy. It was a bit pricey for the overall service offered (keep reading)

Cons: Apart from the location, for the rest there is big way to improve. My review is based on the expectations for a 5* boutique hotel which is (to us) having a wonderful/"going the next mile" customer experience. In our opinion is still a "wanna be" but far from being at the level the price suggests. Firstly, use of the space is odd. The hotel is small with no common space/area. Wellness area is juts no existing (tiny gym and sauna for 2). Entering straight on the right you find a desk (which you expect to be the reception). It happened to be only the concierge, so now check-in over there. We found out after 5 minutes of waiting there while a member of the staff was occupied with other customers. Reception is just upstairs. So we go there and we wait for another 10 minutes till the couple before us finishes with check-in (one staff representative only for check-in). While we wait, we have been asked if we wanted something to drink. I asked for a coffee, and was replied coffee is not possible. It is only water or cava. Really?? Is that so hard to get a coffee at the bar? Another odd policy, you pay on arrival. It did not happen often to me in 5* hotels to pay the all staying in advance. I have insisted to pay at the check-out but the staff representative cut short saying that was the hotel policy and we had to comply with it .Staff, we found the staff mostly under-trained for an hotel at this level. Ranging from the command of English, to the way they speak to customers, to the way they behave. Clearly under-staffed for breakfast, they reply is not their fault if service is slow or tables are not clean since it is just 3 of them. Do the customer really need to know that? On our second day, I had to go and ask downstairs to make our room since was still undone (it was 4PM and we have been away most of the day). All in all, if you are also looking for the perfect 5* experience, look for something else.

Pros: The staff and location where fantastic food specially Rafa and Pablo. The hotel is well decorated the pool and roof top area where great place to relax after a day sight seeing. We enjoyed our visit to Barcelona and highly recommend Ohla

Pros: - Great location, in the center of the city - This hotel has Michelin one star restaurant which offers fairly good food with reasonable price - Every staff was professional and friendly - Room was impeccably cleaned - Pool is small but view was excellent, stunning

Cons: - Breakfast didn't meet expectation, would have been so much better if it had at least one live cook menu ex)egg, noddles

Cons: Breakfast was poor quality and selection for a five star hotel. Drinks expensive at rooftop bar €26 for cocktail and a beer

Pros: Excellent hotel had a fantastic time only if it was for two days stay, the breakfast and the pool was fantastic myself and my mother enjoyed very much.

Pros: Ohla Hotel wonderful view at terrace and it is near centre, if I go to Barcelona again I will choose same hotel. Breakfast also nice , they have very kindly and helpful person. Hope to meet with you again.

Pros: Room was very clean and all furniture was up to date. Interesting layout with the shower in the middle of the room.Roof top patio-I used at all times of the day and was great to relax especially after a long walk during the day.

Pros: Staff was amazing, especially the concierge! I can’t stress how accommodating the stay is made from the start. Assistance with parking the car, luggage, check in, scheduling meals, tours, weather or even a quick laundry trip. The concierge was one of the best. Breakfast is great. Loved the rooftop pool and bar. Very comfortable rooms and great tub.

Cons: I wish there was a laundry room on site (but only due to this being our last stop out of 3 cities). Laundry mat was within a 5 minute walk so easily managed

Pros: The personalized service was amazing. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and they had a bottle of Cava waiting for us in our room which had a beautifu view of the plaza.

Pros: NH costanza Barcelona has a great staff, everyone very nice and polite. The hotel is very close to the city centre and it would take you 15 minutes by bus or normal city transports. Breakfast was very rich and good food quality, if you don't want to use the breakfast included in your package you also have many other choices in the same building. Room was done every day with fresh towels and everything very clean, the space is perfect for two people. I would go back 100%!

Pros: - Room was lovely, clean and comfy. Bed was really nice and i slept well for the duration of my stay - Reception staff really polite and helpful - Breakfast was good - Outside restaurants were nice to sit and have a coffee at night.. I ate in one (Sushi place), which was nice..

Cons: - How expensive it was to park the car! Had i of thought it through, i probably wouldn't have hired a car, as it worked out quite expensive to use the underground parking. - Lifts were a nightmare. Kept going down when wanting to go up. Seemed to take forever to get to where you want to go. You have to use a separate lift to get to the rooftop and another one for the underground parking.. Bit of a headache! - I felt the staff at the spa were a little rude and not very helpful when trying to book. Seemed to favour couples/families who spoke Spanish! - Rooftop Pool was always full of people, so there was usually a fight for a sunbed. Pool itself is quite small, so when there's kids jumping in it constantly, it's not exactly 'relaxing'.. 50% chance of towels not being available either!

Pros: This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Europe. Value was excellent. Staff extremely attentive and friendly. At breakfast we felt pampered. Spacious, comfortable room. Can't wait to return This was so good I would be encouraged to look for other N H Collection Hotels in other locations.

Cons: No bathrobe, no slippers, unconfortable floor to walk barefoot, kind of old bathtub. Very very poor sound isolation. You could hear literaly everything from the hallway and the street which at night was very unpleasant. Constant background noise at night which made it dificult to sleep. When we got there we were told there were no available rooms although we already paid and had a booking reservation. It was solved in the end but we were anxious for 20-30 minutes.

Cons: The decor was a bit weird. The bathtub/shower sill was far too high and was dangerous (we were traveling with an architect and we are convinced that this height does not meet code). In addition, the gym was very poor. They only had a few machines and 2 of them were broken.

Pros: Wondeful staff, very helpful. Made phenomenal restaurant recommendations and were all around very helpful. The hotel is a very nice hotel where they do a great job keeping clean and very nice. Location is great, walking distance to everything but in a more upscale area so out of the chaos of La Rambla.

Cons: The staff took things personally, the door of my room was broken, the air conditioning was not working properly, the hotel couldn't offer any help in any way, even they don't have mugs for coffee, the building is old & hotel living on its reputation not the service, it was total waste of money. Had to Change the room, communicating with staff was a worst thing I had to deal with.

Pros: Upon entering the hotel the smell was amazing. Thought I was at a spa. We were early for check in so they held our luggage. Room was ready about 15 minutes later and luggage was waiting in our room. We were escorted to our room and we had all the amenities explain. Art work in our room was beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable. Rooftop bar and restaurant were fun. I think the best experience was the customer service. They could not do enough for you. The manager Alessio Rinella was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cons: Lifts from station to reception very slow and 4 main lifts from reception to rooms small and take their time.

Pros: The junior suites are well equipped (Nespresso machine, ample coffee pods per day). Great bathroom suite (super shower and separate huge bath)

Cons: Whilst a relatuvely newly refitted the hotel will have upkeep issues as even now some of the wardrobe doors have dropped and are dragging (& damaging) the flooring and the drawers don't run properly.

Pros: Theme of hotel and staff willing to adapt menu items to vegan.
