The attention to detail was amazing and staff were just wonderful. A very inviting and amazing place - will definitely come back.
Hotel located very centrally with very nice and helpful staff. The breakfast is nice, the rooftop good and the room very spacious and comfortable to work and sleep. Would consider going back.

The hotel was centrally and well located. The rooms were furnished to a high modern standard.
The hotel ridiculously expensive and overpriced for what it was. Our rooms, although modern with smart tv's etc were TINY and stank of damp (and in my daughter's room. of possibly something worse). We had reasonable views and, as per my request for a high floor room, were placed on the 10th floor. However, on the 2nd night, i was awoken in the early hours of the morning by what sounded like someone moving bottles around in the rooftop bar which was just above us so the request for a quiet high floor room had not been granted, in effect. We paid over £900 for the 2 rooms for 2 nights and quite frankly i feel i could have paid almost half this amount to get much better rooms in a different hotel in Barcelona.We were completely ripped off and as this was my first experience of an NH hotel, it will certainly be my last. We have visited Barcelona several times in the last few years, have stayed at SB and Melia hotels and have only ever had good, value for money experiences before, Incidentally, the reception staff also have a little trick of asking if customers prefer to pay in euros or pounds sterling and, tired as i was when i arrived, i opted for pounds sterling and ended up paying even more as a result. This hotel is only interested in making money and is very much'style over substance'.I don't doubt that i will get a strongly worded response to this review but this review has been written only with the intention of warning other holidaymakers like myself who do not have unlimited funds and want value for money on holiday, which you will not get at the NH Calderon. Avoid!
