I booked online and everything when i went to pick it up the lady on the desk said im on a do not rent list. Im pretty sure she was being discriminated to me. She refused it without a valid reason. I have never rented previously from Avis so how would i be on a do not rent list. The lady on desk said call customer service and tell them we didn’t have any cars so they will refund your money. Apparently if i tell customer service that im on do not rent list then they will not refund my money. I have called the customer service and told them everything, they said they will investigate. After few days they found out that I wasn’t on do not rent list. They just apologised that all. I travelled from uk to usa . The car i was suppose to pick from usa. After they reject me i went through great stress as i had to look for few other places. It was my first time in usa so i was very very stressed. Finally after looking for few places i did found a car from hertz. It cost me bit more as i needed the car straight away. Also had to spend extra money on uber too. So it did end up costing me extra $200Reviewed Nov 11 2023
