Pros: Most of the staff was helpful and friendly with only a couple exceptions. Located in a safer/nice side of town that is much more quiet. Atm and money exchange available. Nice pool area and great pool staff but not enough sun chairs/space.
Cons: The spa wasn't open for all of my four day stay except for one day. The one day they were open they only had massage capabilities available (ie no facials or nail treatments etc) so I went ahead and booked a massage with the only therapist available. I found the male massage therapist to be a bit unprofessional and the massage was oddly touchy. For example it seemed like he was trying to rub his body on the sides of mine while giving my massage. The breakfast buffet is 22 euros and a lot of the food was cold including meat and eggs which is dangerous! All food at this hotel is pretty over priced. No hot tub as advertised? Dirty/moldy between bathroom tiles. If they call a taxi for you the ride is 3 euros more expensive

Cons: The hotel was tired. The room and bathroom were not clean. This is not a five star hotel as described by travel sites. The power in the hotel failed in the middle of the night & we had no AC, emergency lighting came on, which is what we woke to at 3am. The house phone was ignored when I attempted to call the front desk to clarify the situation. I called from my mobile & was told 'this happens all the time'. An appalling 'hotel'.

Pros: Due to extensive flight delays we missed the first night of our reservation at St. George and did not arrive in Athens until 6AM. However, we forgot all about our troubles almost immediately after checking into this superb hotel. 1. Without even telling us they upgraded our room to the front side of the hotel which had absolutely incredible views of the Acropolis from our balcony. While it wasn't a large room (they never are in Europe!), it was clean, the bed was great, and the bathroom was perfectly OK. 2. Despite our exhaustion, we dragged ourselves out of bed just in time to catch breakfast. Went up to the 6th floor and was blown away by the 360 views of Athens. We asked if we could just grab a plate of food from the buffet (delicious selection) and take it back down to our room. Not only did they say yes, but they had someone carry our food down to the room ON A SILVER PLATTER. No jokes. Also, without even asking for it they sent with a hot carafe of coffee with STEAMED MILK. 3. On the last leg of our trip, coming back from an island, we had 12 hours to kill in Athens before heading to the airport. Despite no longer being guests for over 7 days they graciously stored our bags and let us hang out at the roof pool until we had to leave. WHAT. 4. Oh, and the pool is like a dream. Gorgeous pool with gorgeous Athens view with lounge chairs and great music. Happy hour is from 7-9 offering 6 euro cocktails. The neighborhood this hotel is in is really great and completely safe as it is where all the embassies are located. Since it's on a hill be prepared to climb! It is worth it as there are very charming buildings, great cafes, shops, and restaurants. You can be in Kolonaki (walking) in 15-20 minutes. There is a metro stop 7 blocks away that goes directly to the airport. WHY WOULD YOU STAY ANYWHERE ELSE? I know I won't be.... Thank you St. George! You made our trip.

Although at the end since I complained they did not charge for for one and I did not use for the rest of the days. If I conclude if they were advertising it for a 3 star hotel I would have put my best comments and I would have set my exoectations but for a 5 star, not at all met my expectation.

Cons: 1. We chose this hotel ONLY because the Kayak info said a "hotel shuttle" is available. We wanted to be close to the airport to fly out the next morning. We thought we would save the expense of a taxi to and from the airport. There was no shuttle. When we call the hotel, they told us no such thing as a shuttle. They would only arrange to send me a taxi @ €45.00. And this could only be arranged via email...not over the ph. We simply took a cab to the hotel # €43.00. To the airport the next morning...no shuttle. We took a taxi @ €44.00. If you people do no have a shuttle like we are use to in the US...do not mislead innocent pepole like us. That is false advertising. The availability of a shuttle in the ONLY reason why we picked this hotel. 2. At the front desk I changed out some US$ for € after checking in. We plan to do some last minute shopping before we fly out the next day. What we did not know was that, that very day was a national holiday (the Verging Mary Holiday ) all the stores were closed. On checking out the next morning they would not take back the € currency. I told them that we did not know that there was a holiday. They said they can't take it back. That was just not right. These 2 things has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I am not a happy camper...especially with the shuttle issue. That was flat out wrong. You can't say that there is a shuttle when there is none. People from the US is use to taking a free shuttle ride to and from the airport to hotels and rent a car locstions.

Pros: Rooftop restaurant has a view on the Acropolis. Food is execellent as well. That by itself made the hotel worthwhile. We also had to check-out early. Although we were not able to go to the breakfast buffet (since it was too early) the hotel still provided a small spread for people in our situation, which was really nice (beats starting your day on an empty stomach). Also, we arrived before the normal check-in time and they were able to get us a room. Given we had been in a plane for 9 hours and jet lagged out of our skulls, this was very very nice.
Cons: The bed was actually two twins pushed together. But given we had arrived earlier than the regular check-in time, this was a small oversight that I didn't even mention to the hotel staff. I was just happy to have a room.

Cons: The hotel promises internet and wifi but once you get there, they tell you that if you want internet in your room you have to pay for it and it is expensive!!! The room smelled of cigarette and the bathroom smelled of stale mold. The staff was impolite, at best, except for Adonis at the front desk, he was extremely courteous and helpful.VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!

Pros: Everyone was so nice. The person that assisted us when we checked in went above and beyond. Even though we were checking out at 3 am before breakfast, he told us to call room service and they would have breakfast ready for us when we wanted or they would pack a breakfast to go! Pros: The staff were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. There was an issue when we checked in, finding our reservation, and they did not skip a beat to accommodate us while it was resolved. Breakfast was spectacular, the room and bathroom were exactly what we were looking for after a very busy days. The shuttle service closer to town was a huge help.

Cons: Shower tub was too narrow and hard to stand in to take a shower. Even though we were on a non-smoking floor we could severely smell smoke from adjoining rooms. We complained about the cigarette smell and was only told "sorry".

Pros: We stayed for 2 single nights, on both end of our sailing charter out of Athens. The staff was helpful and the location was good for walking to sites like the Acropolis. The room was not fancy, but was clean and the breakfast was good. If you're high enough, and on the street side of the building, you can even get a view of the Acropolis. Great value for a 2 Star.

Pros: Excellent location very close to the Acropolis in a nice little residential neighborhood. There is a Spar supermarket down the street and a small convenience store on the same block. We found our room to be very comfortable. We had a balcony with a nice view over Athens. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Our second stay at Divani, and it was lovely. The staff offers excellent service and is very attentive. The location is the best as all major sights can be easily reached by walking or the metro. the room was fabulous. I would highly, highly recommend it to all. on the night of the August full moon, we had dinner on the patio. we overlooked the acropolis and it was very memorable

Pros: Staff was incredibly helpful. I was traveling with my father who had a cane which lost a piece of the device. The staff gave us excellent directions to a nearby hardware store As we needed to replace it before leaving for a cruise.

Cons: Our only complaints were the small refrigerator in the room barely got cold and when we pulled the cabinet away from the wall to check if it was plugged in, it hadn’t been cleaned back there in years. Absolutely filthy (cigarette butts, debris, dirt). However, if the refrigerator was working properly we would have never known. The rest of the room was very clean. (Carpet was a little rough, but not terrible)

Cons: The location is far from the city center. The hotel has only one restaurant including a pool bar which was booked for a private function for 2 nights. This limited us to dine in the indoor restaurant. The female waiter was too rude and didn't want us to sit in the dining area but only next to the bar.

Pros: Great location near acropolis and the shopping areas. We were able to walk to monstroaki and the parliment square as well. Temple of zeus is just across the street. Breakfast buffet is great with an amazing view. We came w our 17mo old and they provided a pack n play. Easy stroller access to front entrance an elevator. Easy stroller side walk access to near by sites. Pretty good sized room considering. Overall a good place to stay w kids

Pros: Loved the room and it's close proximity to walkable parts of Athens. Also has a beautiful view of the temple of Zeus and the acropolis, both within walking distance. Hotel was comfortable and the service was good, though there were some issues with the room service. They were also kind enough to upgrade our room for free!
Cons: The room service had some issues, first with ordering then with delivery. We received the wrong dish, after having to call four times to get them to understand what we wanted. However they were quick to bring the correct one to us at no additional charge.

Pros: Loved the view of the Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis. The morning breakfast was terrific and good value.
Cons: The walk was very convenient, but the few shops next door made it look seedy to presence of the hotel. I thought 25.00 for a Margarita and 16 for a beer was a bit over the top. The prices for bar drinks make a traveler like me go elsewhere for a drinks, when I would really rather stay and drink in the relaxing atmosphere of the pool and hotel.

Pros: It was a great hotel for a one night stay in Athens. The staff was very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect very close to Acropolis and main city area. I would stay here again & recommend to friends as well.
Cons: The bathroom could be updated it's very basic, decor updates are needed. Room service is too overpriced, luckily there's a lot of places to eat close by.

Pros: the staff's demeanor was excellent and personable. The Panoramic suite had an incredible view and the rooftop bar had a staggering view of the Temple of Olympian Zeus. If you can afford a night or two of luxury and five minute walk from the Acropolis...stay here. Dannis K. - Toronto

Pros: The location could not be better. The rooftop restaurant has incredible views, and the breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The beds are rock hard, and the staff can be a bit grouchy. While the staff who work mornings at breakfast seem quite helpful and attentive, the bar staff seemed annoyed that we were there. Key cards failed a couple times during a week-long stay, so I had to bring mine to the front desk twice to have it reprogrammed. Others seemed to have this issue too.

Pros: The people that work in the hotel were nice
Cons: There where fleas in my bed and I had an allergic reaction. Also the neighborhood is horrible. Every time we took a taxi they told us to be careful because it was very dangerous. It’s is located in a street that is full of immigrants
