Pros: Loveliest staff and great atmosphere! Clean, and had lovely balconies. Very relaxed, was able to stay there for a while after I had checked out which I really appreciated as my ferry was very late that night.

Pros: The atmosphere is great. You can definitely find your people there. Most important even if you are alone, the host will always try to introduce you to other gusts, then friendship starts. And no need to worry that you can't sleep well because ppl there are too active. The hostel has strict rules after 11pm no activities allowed. All in all, it's a warm and caring place. George I know you are reading, yes you are the best host ever, appreciate your entertainment, will remember your kindness and acerbity. Best :)

Pros: It is a nice clean place with all the basics, good location and affordable prices. The staff make it exceptional. They are super helpful, personable and just fantastic people. Anyone who visits Athens and doesn’t stay at PYH will miss out on a great experience.

Pros: George makes you feel at home since the moment you step into the hostel by introducing you to other solo travellers. Both him and Terry are very nice and will go out of their way to make sure your stay at the hostel is unforgettable, even cooking for guests sometimes. Terry also has dance moves out of this world of you are lucky to see this. They are both very hard working and funny as hell. You get an amazing experience and much more than just a room.

Cons: No aircon, so was very very hot at night (and in the day). Meant I had to take about a million showers to cope with the 35 degree heat!

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was in a little bit sketchy part of the neighborhood, but it was central and walking distance to everything in the Center of Athens. The facilities were an amazing deal for the price. I would stay here again. The staff was also very helpful in recommendations and information about places in Athens.

Pros: We liked the location, the closeness to most sights and shopping area, as well as to metro stations to/from port and aeroport. Staff were friendly, helpful with directions and explanations. There are lockers where luggage can be kept throughout your stay (2 EUR) as well as for the time between check-out and leaving for the aeroport. Enough showers and toilets per floor, very clean. We stayed at a double room, 12 sq m but tall ceilings so didn't feel tight.

Cons: There were lockers on the 3rd floor, but I wish there were some on every floor. I had some problems with the locks and keys to my room, but the staff was very helpful in fixing it.

Cons: GHETTO!!! I walk with protection stick. Taxi in and out. 2nd time to stay in this area. I still like hotel, but women should be careful alone. It is full of scary men on next street.

Cons: The neighbourhood look like slum and not safe to move at night. The streets to the hotel were very untidy. Airconditioner was fixed at only one temperature and controlled by the hotel.

Cons: Even though it's not far from the center It's located in a bit weird area. Unfortunately, there was a school trip staying at the hotel on the same night. At midnight some teenagers were shouting at the corridors and because of that, we were not able to fall asleep. The teacher managed to make them quiet but no reaction from the reception staff..
