Pros: modern design

Cons: room extremely small no heating despite low outside temperature slow service not really a 5 star hotel

Pros: Lovely spa, very comfortable room, beautiful gardens, and decent breakfast.

Cons: An outside pool would have completed the experience.

Pros: Staff were fantastic and did everything possible to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was fantastic with high quality produce, ranging from charcuterie, great Italian cheese and wonderful patisserie and cakes, including gluten-free options. Our suite on two floors with our own entrance was fabulous. The Roman spa facilities were the best I have ever come across! The gardens, replete with highly scented shrubs, such as rosemary and lavender was second to none.

Cons: We felt the rooms were a little spartan and could have benefitted from a little more thought to the interior - that being said, I used to be an architectural interior designer. The toilet seats could have been soft-closing, so if one forgot, they would come crashing down.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent.

Cons: The only thing that could have been improved was the fruit juice which was not fresh.

Pros: The room was contemporary and upscale in all aspects. Exterior and interior walls were stacked stone and in niches were ceramic pots. Toiletries were wonderful to use. The staff was most attentive and helpful. But, the best aspect was the spa! What a serene paradise!

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Excellent staff. Most comfortable bed in Italy☺️ Fabulous massages. Beautiful, zen-like decor. Beautiful, zen-like public spaces and gardens.

Cons: Extremely loud, joyous party at a private residence next door on my last evening. Staff had no control over this variable but neither did they offer any compensation. I chose the property because it was so far removed from town, had a "wellness" focus, and promised to be a peaceful and quiet retreat.... which it was, until my last night there. Some kind of monetary concession would have been a nice gesture.

Pros: A very well presented hotel with lovely gardens and pool. It’s close proximity to Assisi old two. Makes it an ideal choice for sight seeing. A family run business, all the staff are very friendly and very helpful.

Pros: BesIdes the beauty and comfort of the property, everyone who works there deserves an A +!!! Breakfast and coffee were great, the girl who took care of us in the mornings was well educated and sweet! I could rate their SPA or wellness centers as excellent!! And there is Antonello! His attention towards everything regarding the guests is out of this world!!

Pros: Breakfast selection was top notch quality. The shower was the best one we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. Front desk was courteous and very helpful. The price was much lower than I would have expected. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Cons: That we didn’t stay here longer!

Pros: Great location easy to get around in walking distance to city central or a local shuttle bus service is available if you don't feel like walking in great size out door pool and sun lounge area great to come back for a swim after discovering the sites of Assisi. Great for my first time visit to Assisi.

Pros: The hotel is beautifully designed and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool has the perfect view. We'll be back!

Pros: One of the best hotel I every stayed in Italy (best value for money). Located right in front of the 7th biggest church on earth, veyr clean, interior luxury, good breakfast, tranquil area, with restaurants around.

Cons: Maybe just the TV (a bit too small) hehehe...

Pros: Location close to eating places and the bus, clean and very safe area. Slippers which is a bonus.

Cons: We wanted a cup of tea in evening but had no kettle for tea/coffee, breakfast had a lot of sweets but very little other options with only a small selection of cold meat and cheese with no hot option. Also no iron.

Pros: The hotel is really close to Santa Maria Degli Angeli

Cons: Breakfast was disappointing - no fruit salad although they did make me some when asked. Coffee was from a self service machine

Cons: I picked this hotel because it says that it has parking. it turns out they direct you to park on the street around the corner. the evening reception person was unpleasant and not welcoming. In addition to his attitude, he did not offer to help me with the suitcase (a woman travelling alone - the only place in Italy where a man didn't suggest to help). When I checked out no one offered help with the suitcase. Clearly the hotel does not think it is required to care about a guest once outside hotel doors. The receptionist gave me my room key. To get to my room on the first floor - i had to climb 5 stairs carrying my suitcase because the lift does not reach that area. When I mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning she said - you wanted a room with view and a balcony. Well, if anyone had said to me that for a balcony I would need to carry my suitcase without a lift - I would have clearly preferred no stairs and no balcony. The room was quite small and the bathroom ventilation is noisy. yes it's clean, yes breakfast is OK - but who cares in light of the overall unpleasant experience?

Cons: Air conditioning wasn't working n a heatwave. However staff moved us to another room. Hairdryer was totally ineffective.

Pros: Very good and copious breakfast, with scrambled eggs and gluten-free food. Coffee is not bad, although from a self-service machine. Room and bathroom very modern and very clean. Excellent location near the main square of town. The hotel has the potential of becoming a 4-star property with the addition of more amenities.

Cons: Room and especially the bathroom were very small, even though the bathroom was state-of-the-art.

Pros: The location was great just next to the main square. The hotel was all the was needed and breakfast was great!

Cons: The room was fine but a bit small for a family room. The air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted from the room but through reception and that was not very convenient.

Pros: Hotel Giotto has a specacular view of the valley in Assisi. It was very clean and comfortable. Beatrice at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Pros: The staff were great and the view from pur bedroom balcony at the front of the Catherdral or at the back by the bar were beautiful. The location is unbeatable.

Cons: We thought the pool was included, but it's is an added extra which has to be pre-booked and paid for by the hour so availability can be limited.

Cons: WORST HOTEL OF OUR LIFE Lets make a list 1- they don’t answer emails so you don’t know if you can park or not, so when we got there was no parking 2- the lady at the reception is unwilling to help in nothing, she is rude, even tho my husband is fluent in italian, she didn’t change the “mad face” like she was doing a favor to do our check in 3- the hotel restaurant was fully booked and she told us that she couldn’t do a waiting list. 4-We ask asked to her do a reservation in other ones, she told us in english and in Italian that wasn’t needed at 6PM 5- At 21:20 we started our CLIMB to the restaurant, when we got there starving and sweating, THE RESTAURANTS WAS FULLYBOOKED, and of course need reservations ! 6- After this journey, we got to our room to try to relax and a new surprises : - the pillow is a rock, the mattress has a hole on it, we woke up in pain, even my daughter in her 20’s (in an other room) said she had to took a pain killer in the morning 7- seems they turn off the central AC, so we woke up in sweat (in the sun and with pain) - EXTRA : the spa is 25 euros pp , and close at 8pm , and the blackout doesn’t work so be ready to wake up with sun This is the worst hotel experience of my life almost ruined the city for us. The receptionist is rude, bad night of sleep, was literally a PAINFULLY experience

Pros: Wonderful location, comfortable room, nice view on the terrace, the majority of the staff were helpful, good breakfast.

Cons: One day during breakfast, a waitress offered to prepare a fresh orange juice, by coincidence my Mother saw when the waitress drank orange juice and on the same glass she prepared orange juice for us. This is completely unacceptable. This was informed immediately to the manager in charged of this incident.

Pros: Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Our room had amazing view over the valley. Professional and very helpful staff. Lovely terrace with beautiful views to enjoy a drink. We had a great time and loved this hotel. Definitely will come back.

Pros: Lovely view from the balcony when having breakfast, which was brilliant. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the bar at night is not extremely busy but a few people on the balcony having a drink- a really nice atmosphere!

Cons: We thought that 25€ per person for two hours in the spa was far too expensive. Also be careful ordering a glass of wine at the bar as they will give you the most expensive one, which is 10€ a glass.

Cons: Having paid for a room with a terrace it was very disappointing to find the terrace unusable as the exhaust from the kitchen discharged into the terrace. Smelly and very noisy.

Pros: Staff went out and beyond to help us, specially the ladies at the front desk, even if it was late night. Breakfast spread was awesome, the view breathless.

Cons: My kids were a bit scared of the décor, felt like an old house to them. I was fine with it otherwise.

Cons: Beds were extremely hard. The spa had limited hours. Furniture in lobby and lounge were old. The bar was not well staffed.

Pros: Staff were very friendly/helpful, provided a good breakfast, shower water pressure was excellent, comfortable bed.

Cons: My only concern was with the Swedish high school students, 20-25 in number, who were very noisy in the hallways and slamming doors late at night. The students were poorly chaperoned by their teacher. My recommendation would be for hotel staff to enforce conduct regulations for the comfort of all hotel guests.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. Parking was easy and the location was fantastic.

Cons: The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and awful (they felt like a folded towel under our heads), the breakfast had a large selection but it was stale and the juice had fermented, and the hotel seemed dated and a bit run-down.

Cons: Just the fact that fact that to get there with pushchair wasn’t easy but after we leaned the way it was better. I think If the customer says they have babies they should send the map explaining the best way to get there :)
