Pros: A friendly small hotel located in a great part of Assisi. The secure off street parking was much appreciated. The rooms are small but very comfortable and they had a lift. The air con was a bonus as there was a mosquito problem & windows needed to be kept shut. The staff were friendly & breakfast was good.

Pros: Antonio and family were perfect hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their hotel. They advised us about restaurants, taxis, tours and definitely went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and happy during our stay. Would definitely stay at Hotel Pax again if we were in Assisi.

Pros: This is a small family run hotel located right in the heart of the centre of Assisi. The family was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, and will even make a reservation for you. They even provided an early breakfast for us as we had to depart before the scheduled breakfast time. Thank you.

Pros: The hotel is very well located. It has a parking right in front of the hotel wich is great! But you must know that isn't possible to reserve a parking lot and if it's full on your arrival you won't be able to park your car and is only a few parking spaces. The breakfest is small but great! The structure of the hotel is old but super conserved, so it has a charm, the rooms are the same, but confortable and very clean. The view is also amazing. There is a elevator so you can get your bags until the floor you are staying. The photos on booking are reliable, the hotel looks exactly like this live.

Pros: The hotel is very well located. It has a parking right in front of the hotel wich is great! But you must know that isn't possible to reserve a parking lot and if it's full on your arrival you won't be able to park your car and is only a few parking spaces. The breakfest is small but great! The structure of the hotel is old but super conserved, so it has a charm, the rooms are the same, but confortable and very clean. The view is also amazing. There is a elevator so you can get your bags until the floor you are staying. The photos on booking are reliable, the hotel looks exactly like this live.
Cons: I think few things, although they are conserved, need minor repairs or even improvements. For example, the curtains in my room were damaged, we could not open or close them properly.

Cons: My only concern was with the Swedish high school students, 20-25 in number, who were very noisy in the hallways and slamming doors late at night. The students were poorly chaperoned by their teacher. My recommendation would be for hotel staff to enforce conduct regulations for the comfort of all hotel guests.

Cons: We got a room that had a queen bed plus a single bed, even though it was only me and my daughter we decided to take that room as it was available at 11am when we arrived. However the room was TINY, because of the extra bed there was hardly any space to put our 2 bags. That room isn't big enough for that extra bed. THe bathroom was quite large in comparison to room. There are about 12 stairs to get to front door of the hotel and then another 3 flights of stairs to bring bags up.

Pros: The hotel has a great location with a fabulous view of the countryside below and the church of S.F.
Cons: Restaurant was closed. So few guests. Was not placed in room with southern view. Northern rooms noisy until 10:30 pm. Staff didn't inform us of local celebration that closed center of city.

Pros: The owner and her son with both very friendly and helpful, especially with getting around town and restaurant recommendations. The room and bathroom were very clean, and breakfast was basic but nice. The view from our room was beautiful, and the hotel was in a convenient location. The free internet connection was a nice bonus.

Pros: When we arrived at this hotel we were welcomed by the most charming lady, who right then made us feel at home and even suggested an excellent nearby restaurant (Il Buca di San Francesco), where we had a fabulous meal (try the Sagrantino red wine). The hotel is plum in the centre of Assisi, in a pedestrian street, but easily accessible by car. We definitely recommend it!

Cons: You have to be able to climb steps to get to the hotel entrance. Mind you, if you can't mind steps, what are you doing in Assisi?

The free internet connection was a nice bonus.
Cons: My only complaint would be that the mattress was harder than I prefer, but European beds are often firmer than American ones.
