Pros: Breakfast was a bit chaotic as they were very short of staff and those on duty were run ragged. We never received our ordered mint tea but received an apology and a free coffee. Prefer to have a walk in shower as sides of bath were too high and I am 83 years old which makes access very difficult - in future will try and specify walk in shower. Please transfer these comments to the following box as entered in this box in error. Pluses are always the helpfulness of staff.

Cons: The air conditioning in my room was a bit of an issue, as we had to call in every night for some one to fix it. I was in room 501, and all other rooms were perfect. First night my room was too cold, second too hot and third it was fixed... When ever I called up reception they did send some one soon . the staff tried best to solve the issues but it was not resolved till last night. I was later compensated for this by 3 breakfast boxes on the day of my departure, a good gesture but i guess a little more could have been done. The second thing was the Pizza in the room service that we ordered was waste of money and tasted really bad. When i reported this to the reception team they apologized and took the bill off and I was very happy with the outcome. You had some issues but with a great customer service from your staff we were able to ignore them.

Cons: Only Valet parking was offered but this did not suit our needs (handing the keys over and not able to get your own car out of the gargage. When we asked for alternatives we were offerred cheaper parking in a nearby very close car parking - all day parking and access when we wanted. Suited our needs much better. The apartment had cooking facililities as we wanted to prepare some meals but the small bar fridge had 32 'hotel' based cans, bottles, chocolate. NO room for our produce and drinks. Had to unload the firidge before we could put our items in. Staff friendliness and helpfulness was variable. Room faced west - very hot in Summer.

Cons: This is a party hotel where people come to spend a night in the city. Rooms very noisy, plain and lacking in style or ambiance. 1st room had a dividing door and we could hear every word that was spoken. We moved rooms. 10.30 at night a party started in the room next door of that room. We called down to reception. The hotel staff knocked on the door many times before they were noticed by the party going on inside! We cannot express how disappointed we were. We will never stay in another Hilton as standard is not guaranteed.

I was a little disturbed by two homeless people that walked in off the street and approached guests, in particular a couple of older Japanese guests were taken aback and did not know how to respond to these people. One of those was on the aggressive side and should have been stopped at the entrance before entering. My feedback would be make sure you have good security. It is expected at the Hilton Hotel.

Cons: Hotel is very dated, stains on the carpet, dusty reception. Room was dark and beat up. Very disappointed considering we could have booked a 5 star hotel for the same price. Very close to Peel St which has a few trendy places but otherwise you are very close to the strip club end of town. This is not a 4 star hotel by any means.

Pros: no dining facilities at this Mantra, the sister Mantra had dining but we were too late for breakfast as it stopped at 10.00 am.
Cons: this was a fine establishment we would reccomend to others, the last Mantra we used was in Cairnd QLD, also very good.

Pros: Great location. Rooms were a good size and the aircon was fantastic. We had a 41 degree day when we visited and worked beautifully. Reception is 24 hours and we’re always courteous and helpful.
Cons: The room layout was strange. From one side of the sofa you could only see a half of the tv. Good sized bathroom but hard to navigate. Disappointing that there is no breakfast. The downstairs cafe is closed permanently.

Cons: When I booked the property description said it had a pool but it doesn’t it’s outside in the next property The housekeeping was not very good in my room Toilet rolls not left available Sink area not cleaned Cups and spoons not cleaned Carpet floor never seemed to be cleaned properly as there were hairs that were not mine on it throughout my stay Cockroach in my room that reception staff just said “oh dear “ and no response to getting rid of it

Cons: Although clean and well-kept, the decor is dated, and the windows need double-glazing to block the street noise from the local nightlife.

Cons: It was quite noisy in the actual hotel. I think the hotel should put up some reminders for guests staying to be mindful of others and try to keep the noise down.

Cons: It is becoming a little run down and was not inviting and there were a few facilities issues. The door in our room to the balcony kept getting stuck and at one stage I got locked out, not because it was locked, just the knob didn’t turn correctly. There was also a fair amount of water running across the walkway to our room which I accidentally stepped in and it soiled my suede shoes. The rooms are quite dark and the foyer is not inviting, lacks personality and has minimal furniture feeling sparse
