Quiet, great views from the balcony over looking the park lands. Easy access to city via trams & buses
room was a bit smaller & not as 'new' looking as i expected
You could not get a coffee or drink during day, restaurant and bar not open sundays and certain nights, sent to hotel next door for facilitys that were not open either. Booked out early and went to airport for coffee
Very nice rooms. Lots of space. Comfortable beds, had a great night sleep. Loved the balcony area and had a great view of the south side of the city.
There was nothing that stood out, probably below an average hotel
The hotel was very tired and the ducted air conditioner woke us up about 3AM every morning. The room was dusty and the windows needed a good clean
the hotel was located near good restruants & reasonably close the the showgrounds where most of my activities were being held.
at the time there was various conferences being presented so the carparking was stretched to the limit during the day.
I enjoyed the convenience of the location for the city and environs. The park opposite also added to the ambience.
The Restaurant lets the hotel down. For evening dining, the food was awful - takeaway standard Indian at restaurant prices. Breakfast however, was quite good, although presentation of food not great and loading the plate with tinned mushrooms well......I think the hotel has great potential, just needs updating and definitely needs a coat of paint.
Friendliness of front desk. They were very helpful when the telephone around the corner from the front desk was not working.
The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that I could not get any popcorn because I did not have a popcorn pass. I traveled from the United States and thought it pretty stingy that I could not get any popcorn that was being served in the bar.
The Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Very pleasant, friendly and easy to talk to and approach. The Hotel has an excellent location, being opposite parkland and within walking distance of Quality Shopping and Restaurants etc
As previously stated, the rooms require refurbishment. The towels were not up to average Hotel standard but all up a very nice place to stay.
Customer service was great new everything we need to know
only having a/c not heating
Good welcoming reception area
