The only thing that really bothered me was an obnoxiously loud and annoying child sitting next to her father, who had headsets on and made no attempt to discipline the child. I thought maybe the staff should have said something to him in a polite manner

Considering I cancelled the flight 2 months ago -- I would have to say the communication was poor -- since I continue to received updates. I say poor since Kayak seems not to want to respond to me to reschedule a flight -- they hold my voucher -- so I can not do it on my own --

I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. They put us on standy-by even though we'd booked the tickets and paid in full seven months in advance. Once we eventually got on the plane, it blew a tire on the tarmac and took five (!) hours to fix. There was another short delay finding a gate once we landed in Heathrow, then they lost my luggage and I've yet to receive it. Far and away the worst flight I've ever taken. Avoid BA if you can."
The boarding process was smooth and the seat quite comfortable. The snack served was tasty. There could have been better entertainment options available. The crew was quite courteous and friendly.
