Pros: The crew was good. Loved the mango juice and veg food.
Cons: The seats are hard. More leg room please. Better entertainment with more recent clicks required. Toilet seat needs to stay upright. The eating tables should be straight. Should be able to recline our seats more.
Pros: The whole Business experience on SQ
Cons: During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me.

Pros: The crew was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The leg room was smaller than most other flights and the war phonejack didn't work and the video constantly paused every 30 seconds. Also the 1 8kilo bad allowance in the cabin is a bit unreasonable but I see why they need to because the overhead storage and under the sit storage was less than normal too.
Pros: Crew was amazing. Service is top notch. You get to eat whatever you want whenever you want (no fixed time for menu serving).
Cons: The in flight internet should be of better value for business travelers. Emirates offers full flight connection for business and first class.
Pros: The boarding, comfort and crew were excellent. Everything is very organized and professional.
Cons: I had a 12 hour layover in Istanbul. The hotel was great and I appreciated the good food and rest. However, it took nearly an hour each way to the hotel. I think it would be great if Istanbul airways cooperated with the Yotel so transit passengers could stay in the airport. They helped me to get a visa and they say it will be reimbursed, but all of those things took time when I was so exhausted after a long flight. Overall, it was wonderful to have that opportunity to rest and shower on a long wait, but it would be even better if it was closer and it was clear ahead of time that a visa would be needed.
Pros: New airplane was comfortable and clean. Food was just okay.
Cons: We had to transit in Addis (connecting from Dakar) and the whole experience of going through the Addis airport, getting the voucher for the hotel, and going to the hotel was horrible: it took forever going through immigration and getting a simple stamp on the voucher (the latter an unsafe experience and time consuming, with hundreds of people piled up to get those stamps from just two people, crashing again each other, with no order, no lines). Somewhat there has to be a better way to manage this and make the experience safer and more comfortable to everybody. For instance, just enforcing to stay in line and organizing the lines would have saved everybody a lot of time and effort.
Pros: The crew members were very accommodating and friendly. They do a wonderful job. When I told them that the power was not working in my seat and that I needed it for my CPAP (I call it my anti-snoring device), they arranged for me to move to another seat where the power worked for the CPAP. When the power did not work in the new seat for my laptop, they offered to let me charge it in a more powerful outlet near the galley.
Cons: The power didn't work for my laptop. It did work for my CPAP device. Some of the seat control buttons were out of order.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
