Didn't even have the decency to put a plastic cover on it. Overall I found the crew lacking any warmth and the service was mediocre at best. The food was below average. Overall highly disappointed. I had assumed that Turkish would be like it's other middle Eastern airlines line Emirates or Qutar but they are not. I would take my business elsewhere"

Cons: "The boarding was chaotic. The space used at the gate could not cater for the number of passengers and there was no way anyone with any priority boarding status could make it to the counter. This is not new and has been a recurring problem with this flight and turkish airline does not seem to care enough to handle."

Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Cons: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Entertainment system is rudimentary at best, with few choices and a minuscule screen (but I shouldn't complain, at least there was something to watch). Also, at Heathrow airport (nobody's favorite airport) we had to board buses to get to the airport and walk up stairs. Inefficient, and difficult for older passengers such as myself."

Our experience was terrible. Much of our itinerary was missing when we tried to reconfirm or when we arrived at the airport, even though the Kenya Airways App had us listed. By the time, it was sorted out, our flight from Livingstone to Nairobi was full. To meet our commitments (and get home), we had to find ground transport to Lusaka, purchase a one-way ticket for each of us to Nairobi, book an extra hotel night in both Lusaka and Nairobi, plus the cost of extra meals. For the 2 of us, we incurred over $1500 in extra expense. I filed a concern with the airline October 19, received a incident report number, but have not heard back as of November 2. It was a challenging and disappointing experience.
