Cons: "My son was flying on United from Colorado Springs to Denver, then on to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He rushed through as quickly as he could, but the door to the place was closing and it left 10 minutes early. United recorded him as a 'No Show', and there policy now is to cancel the entire ticket is you miss any segment of a round trip ticket. Thus, his entire $900 was forfeited, he couldn't even pay a change fee to catch a later flight. I hate American, and now I hate United just as much. These airlines shills have been allowed to go out of business when they last filled for bankruptcy. We fly in quite a few international airlines, and outside of Alaska, Jet Blue and Delta, maybe Southwest, US carriers are absolutely bottom of the barrel and it's clear that their employees don't care whatsoever. Will never book again in United or American. I'll try Amtrak before either of those carriers."

Cons: "Smiles on statements. Plane was freezing cold. Lite didn’t work."
Pros: "The crew was very attentive and the seats were comfortable, which was my reason for upgrading to first class, I am tall with long legs, therefore leg room is a MUST for me...but the reurn flight from Memphis to Houston was HORRIBLE!!..PACKED FULL, NO leg room, NO A/C-seriously-Hot air and body odor!"
Cons: "The plane had no A/C!..it just circulated hot air mixed with stale body odor from previous flight!..no leg room and the flight was 100% full..CanadaAir regional jet..and the seats were all narrow, and we were in 1A, !B...totally disappointed!"
Pros: "Flight crew was great, seats were great."
Cons: "Checking in was a nightmare with rude and nonchalant United agents who seemed oblivious to the late/canceled flights pandemonium with passengers scrambling to get questions answered about the rebooking possibilities being offered. I got a text message at 4:30AM about delay and rebooking opp."
Pros: "We were traveling with our 2 year old daughter on a red eye from Hawaii. The flight attendants went so far as to defrost a pizza in the middle of the night to accommodate us."
Pros: "On flight entertainment was provided"
Cons: "Even though I booked two tickets together at the same time months before the flight, and there was no option to reserve the seats in advance. when we arrived at the airport we had to go to the gates to get our seats and we were separated, both middle seat exit row on opposite aisles. We asked if any changes could be made and we were told we chose economy seating and all the seats were booked. I will avoid flying with uUnited going forward"
Pros: "Plane broke. Gate change. Sat on the tarmac for a half hour to take off."
Pros: "Customer service and everything else was great"
Cons: "Getting delayed. We were supposed to leave at 10 something PM but instead kept getting delayed until we finally left at 1:45am. That to me killed my overall experience for that flight considering that it's an 8 hour flight and that I needed to come back on that Monday. Less time do stuff for the weekend."
Pros: "The people seated to the left and right of me."
Cons: "United 'nickel and dimes' you for everything. Baggage, but the worst is the space between rows. Just horribly uncomfortable. Money hungry corporate greed. $7.99 for the equivalent of an Egg McMuffin. You think the big airlines would learn from Southwest airlines. I'll avoid United as much as I can in the future."
Pros: "I got an upgrade to economy plus for the first time in my life. The supper was good, the service was efficient and the staff was courteous, one of the best flight crews that I’ve had with United flights, and the extra leg room was a great welcome."
Cons: "The snack and breakfast were left to be desired. Upon arrival to destination, we had to wait for one hour and ten minutes for a gate to be available in spite of clear weather. I made my connecting flight just in time. Many other passengers missed their connecting flights. In this situation, it would have been appreciated if there were staff to direct us to help speed up the process, but most passengers with connecting flights were running around like headless chickens and loosing patience as we were left to fend for ourselves. Once again, United managed to drop the ball."
