Terrible service especially for premium economy. Much more comfortable seats on other providers
Friendly hosts/hostesses; dinner was of acceptable, but mediocre standard
The booking agent, cheapflightsfares, messed up, and the information for the seats we paid extra for was not sent to American Airlines. We were separated on the return flight and sent to the lowest economy section. The flight attendant helped arrange seating at the back of the plane to allow my wife and me to sit together.
3/4 bags delayed and 1/4 damaged at the other end. Flight was freezing
this was a good experience from on time boarding and take off to early arrival. Comfortable seats became empty seat next to me.
The check-in of my luggage was terrible. When purchased my tickets, one luggage and one carry-on was part of the fight. My flight was switched from British to American Airline. During check-in of luggage at the airport, I was denied and had to pay extra $75. How do I get reimbursed for this extra luggage payment?
The crew did not really interact with me which was no problem as I was fine. I did see that they were somewhat short with some passengers but that was not common. Just in general, they did not seem friendly - no requirement to be so but I am used to a friendly crew on most flights. The food was just ok but with a flight that large, I would think it hard to make something more elaborate.
Our original booking with Kayak -our first experience -was exactly what we wanted and worked well. Updates were friendly and reassuring as were the contacts with UnderPricer so a big win-win. We learned a lot on your reliability and will definitely put you on our organisational list for the future.
The crew could not have been more helpful, my meal was excellent, I slept peacefully until right before landing, and the BA lounge was a godsend. The only negative I encountered was the coffee both on the plane and in the lounge. Not to my taste but that’s a personal preference.
It was difficult to board from London to accra. Had to get there an hour before and almost missed the flight. Did not get enough rest time at the lounge
