I am a big guy and seated to another big guy, the experience was uncomfortable . The crew provided excellent service

First time traveling with Swiss abroad…. They set the standard so high, I will certainly book them again next time! A+ hospitality across the board…. So impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Highly, highly recommend! Jill Bolger

Pros: "The plane we were on between Zurich and Copenhagen was comfortable and modern for such a short trip. This was a stark contrast to the old SAS airplane we flew in the opposite direction as a Swiss flight. The staff on the plane were friendly and helpful."

We tried to hold this flight (the return flight that we had paid for in our round trip ticket) but when we arrived at the airport we were informed that they had sold our seats. We had to pay $250 USD to fly standby (and "reissue" the tickets that we had already paid for) on a flight that was oversold by at least 6, and we heard other passengers also being told their tickets were sold. Their customer service for the ticket change and the phone calls made before hand where they promised to hold our tickets, were so disappointing, it was like dealing with any US based airline. We won't be flying with them again."

Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

It was a Swiss Airline Employee. Never had that happen even in the USA."

Plane was delayed 1 hour on the Chicago O'hare tarmack waiting for a gate. I had a 2 hr. layover & barely made my connecting flight by 5 min.

Our entertainment/movie and audio did not work during our flight. Two of our bags did not make it to our final home destination. No personal assistant. Everything is via email/web with no assistance.

Seat and knee space is narrow.

Then insisted I check a bag that did not need to be checked. Then the food was inedible. Flight happened to be late so I missed my connection, and they offered some more misinformation in that regard; There were of course human beings (staff) to deal with, but they had been reduced by Lufthansa's rules and systems so they were just robots, repeating over and over again inflexible policies. Horrible!"

The crew couldn't do much and so I had to shift myself sideways for the entire journey in order to make space for this obese passenger to rest his arm into and over my seat."

Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

Something else like an ice cream cup would have been nice. I tried to check in a second bag online and was unable to do so. I paid $75 at the check in counter which is exhirbitant compared to other airlines. my brother paid $100 for a bag which was 9 pounds over the limit- that's outrageous!! The person at the check in counter had difficulty with the credit card machine and we waited over 20 minutes to resolve the issue."

I was too hot the whole flight..I think it's the design of the ventilation system on this particular plane. The person by the sunny window stifles. Food was about as bad as it can get. Then I was offered coffee and got tea. Crew never smiled. My headphone had a loose wire so the sound went in and out. Not like past Lufthansa flights."

Their children yelled, screamed and cried the entire flight and their parents did nothing. Their children laid in the center aisles, jumped up and down in the seats like a trampoline. They played with the trays like a toy repeatedly opening and closing them for fun. They tossed pillows at each other and the father handed them back to them to do it again and again. The parents didn't even seat their children in - the flight attendant had to do it. In our section there was no sleeping only total frustration. I love kids but sitting behind totally irresponsible parents made this return flight a nightmare while awake"

The crew hit my seat, repeatedly with their carts and did not remember to offer drinks to us as they pushed it by. The airlines should consider removing that seat as an option to passengers if there is not ample room for the flight crew to maneuver around it. It made for an unpleasant experience overall."

KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.

And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Not a valued customer..just a herd of cattles that is being shuffled around. Employees just lie into your face. Last time I flew with LH companies. No customer service at all. The customer is their enemy.

One of the flights was cancelled and nobody knew which line to use as the check-in employees provided no information."
Pros: "I LOVE the non-stop from PHX to FRA. There are not many direct flights to Europe from Phoenix, and I am very glad that this one exists."
Cons: "The flight was two hours delayed. Condor did not send out any information regarding the delay. Really appreciate it when other airlines do."

Cons: "One of the flight attendants was crabby and didn't want to provide a drink for my husband and myself, so we just dealt with a different attendant."
Pros: "We got there with no safety issues. That is about all the good I can think of. Also a miracle our bags made it since the delay due to Condor made us miss our connection. The best part of the flights were when we switched to Luftansa controlled planes."
Cons: "Don't confuse their logo with Luftansa. They are far from it. Known for delays, disruption and breakdowns. Our flight was delayed 4-5 hours on the way to Europe because the food cart didn't fit. Then a delay of 2 hours on way back to US because 3 of the 6 bathrooms didn't work. Had to wait in this prison like gate with hardly any AC and then take a bus to the plane. DO YOUR RESEARCH. This airline survives on those who don't do their homework(Like me) and those who don't take others reviews seriously. Spend the extra money and get an airline that is consistent. Check out Condor's on time rate..yikes."

Cons: "Boarding was very slow, had to wait in gangway for 15 min. It was very hot. 2 movies are free, any others €8 extra!! Ridiculous"

Cons: "Plane departs and arrives late. Crew extremely disorganized. Did not give clear direction to passengers. My "upgraded legroom" seats turned out to be a walkway to and from the restrooms which were right in front of me. I was constantly bothered with other flyers waking me and disturbing me as they used this walkway."

Cons: "An extra fee for in-flight entertainment on international flight? In route to Frankfurt we were told visa machine wasn’t working and if you didn’t have cash you were not able to watch any but the 2 free family movies offerrred. Seems to me if the visa machine is not working the passenger should be given free in-flight entertainment but then again I think that one should get free movies on an international flight. The food was poor and we were not seated together as a family Without cajoling the staff. There was no apology given for separating us. We were placed on standby on our return flight and we’re not told until five minutes before boarding that we were getting on the flight. I would never fly this airline again unless I had no other option. If you fly this airline pay extra for premium seating so you can get an assigned seat and get decent food and in-flight entertainment"
Pros: "Flight attendants were great. They were helpful"
Cons: "Customer service was poor at best and the boarding process is a circus show. By far one of the worst I've ever experienced. The seats are unbelievably uncomfortable and have no leg room We purchased specific seats and got other seats. Why the heck purchase seats?"
Pros: "Onboarding/offboarding were painless, and flight attendants were generally nice."
Cons: "I'm 6'6" and barely fit in the seats. I've learned to live with that, but it was frustrating that only 2 of the 7 front-row seats with extra legroom in the section were occupied before the flight, and a flight attendant chose a much shorter and not elderly passenger to fill a third seat in that row, leaving no alternative seating options for me and my wife to request. Most other airlines notice my size/discomfort right away and offer to work with me, especially on transatlantic flights. Food and entertainment had limited options and were nothing to get excited about, but you get what you pay for."

Cons: "This cheap airline packs in the passengers like sardines, then randomly charges them for the weight of their carryon luggage; the staff are rude; the boarding process was completely bungled; and for any good food or entertainment the passengers are again charged extra. I am never flying with Condor again!"
Pros: "Knowing they were going to miss my connection, they accepted the booking anyway, out of pure greed and complete disregard for my wellbeing. When I missed my connection in FRA they rebooked me on FRA-YVR-YYZ. That’s a day in a hotel then flying half way around the world to save them a buck. Terrible airline and I’ll never fly them again."
Pros: "The flight crew was great, and the aircraft was very nice and clean."
Cons: "I showed up to the airport 2+ hours early, I tried to check in online, was given a error the said my reservation didn’t exist. When I arrived at the airport I went to the check in counter, when I told them I was checking for a flight to Seattle, i was told that I couldn’t check in because there was a issue with my flight. I was directed to a corner of the terminal. This corner had no chairs or seats for us, we sat there for 2+ hours all the way up to the time our flight was intended to depart. All the while we tried to get information or what was the issue, but we were just stonewalled. Finally past our boarding time were were told the flight was being canceled, and to standby for more information. Another half an hour went by before they told us they were getting us a hotel, and buses to the hotel. So then we waited another 15 minutes or so when they asked us if we had checked in because we needed a ticked to get a room at the hotel. Again we waited in line for 20+ minutes to check in. I had 2 bags to check, one I need at the hotel, the other I did not. They let me check the one bag I could, told me to check the other at the business class check in in the morning to avoid the line, sounds good, or so I thought. So condor gathers us all up, an entire 767 worth of people, and begins hearding us to the buses, they don’t tell us where we’re going, just to follow the one employee, to the 5 or so buses. A large group of us got split off at a set stairs, helping older folks and family with strollers get down the stairs. Now I spent 30 minutes wandering around Frankfurt am main looking for buses. Well they don’t park them out front, they park them out in the middle of nowhere. Finally get to get hotel, it’s a nice hotel. The next morning the lady at the business class desk was extremely rude."
Cons: "First, we went to check-in to get our boarding passes, onlyfor the woman at the counter to tell us we were on Stand-By... for the flight we bought VERY expensive tickets for a YEAR in advance, because they overbooked the flight (100% the AIRLINES fault). Then after some panic time had passed, the same woman told us she was able to get us on the flight, like she'd done us some massive favor, but that we would not be able to sit together. (We are a husband and wife that were on our honeymoon). Then, once we are finally on this flight, cramped near all these strangers, we both go to find some solace in the on-board entertainment, only to find out, they only offered TWO movies free of charge. Two movies for a 10 hour flight. Seriously??? Then, we were served some on board meals, due to the duration of the flight. The food gave me food poisoning. This was by far the WORST flight experience of my life. We will NEVER be flying air Condor again. Nor, will I be referring this company to anyone."

This experience was the worst flight experience of my life and I am a veteran traveler through out the world. This airline reflects badly on Kayak!"

Cons: "I paid extra for more leg room but then didn't get it and In fact my husbands seat hadn't been switched to sit next to me even though I had booked that online through condors website. Absolutely no leg room for tall people- insane for such a long flight and this is the main reason I will never fly condor again. Also think it's ridiculous to pay for movies on such a long flight."

Cons: "I arrived in Seattle on time expecting a 2.5 hour lay over for our 5:15 p.m Condor flight to Munich. All the reader board said was Condor Flight to Munich-Canceled with no other information provided. The condor website said the flight was on time as scheduled. We roamed around the Seattle airport for over an hour trying to find a Condor booth, apparently they don't have a permanent one. When we finally found a Condor booth I was told, "The good news is the flight isn't cancelled, it's just delayed." It was delayed 18 HOURS to 11:15 the following morning. We were told we would have to exit the airport and go to the Condor ticket booth for more information. I nervously exited the airport, because I knew I couldn't get back in without a ticket. I waited in line for over TWO HOURS to find out the plane was still in Germany! No other information was given. I was told I was going to be provided a hotel along with meal vouchers for dinner and breakfast. I was told to come back by 8:00 a.m. in the morning to get my ticket to Munich. Why? BECAUSE THEY WOULD ONLY BE AT THEIR BOOTH UNTIL 10:00 a.m. I was given a room at Days Inn Tukwilla which is right outside the South Center Mall and was in a very sketchy part of town. I did not feel safe there. The room was dirty, the lights didn't work, the deadbolt didn't work and when I tried to charge my phone the plug fell out of the outlet. Also, the front desk staff had no idea I was coming and did not know anything about meal vouchers. I got up early and arrived at 7:30 a.m. No one from Condor even showed up until 8:15 a.m. I finally got my ticket to Munich which was delayed another THREE HOURS to 2:15 p.m. Again, with no notice. I asked for my connecting flight info because I from Munich I was going to Rome. I was told that someone would be helping me with that once I landed in Germany. I was also told I would be able to file a claim for my meals once in Germany. When I debarked the plane in Germany there was an angry worker hurriedly yelling at us to get on the bus if our connecting flight was with Lufthansa, which mine was. I was not helped with filing a claim at all. I finally arrived in Rome and the airline had lost my luggage. So if you fly with condor expect the first two days of your vacation/travel plans to be ruined and expect three days for your luggage to get sent to you. I will never ever book a flight with Condor again. They ruined the first four days of my 10 day vacation."
Pros: "The crew was very nice. Meals were provided. the tablet set up so that we could watch movies, TV, our location during the flight or listen to music. Flight was on time."
Cons: "No leg room. The person in front of me reclined their seat and there was barely room for a coffee cup on the table. My husband, who is not a particularly tall person had his knees against the seat in the front. Frankfurt is an odd airport. I lost track of all the lines that we stood in. Had to pay for more selection on movies and TV."

Cons: "both the outgoing and return flights did not start boarding until after the flight was scheduled to leave. The gate leaving from Frankfurt had its own security line for just this gate, and then we were coralled in a small space waiting to board, and this little area was packed and really hot in comparison to the rest of the airport. Had to pay to choose a seat, as I didn't want them to stick me in a middle seat. also had to pay to get more than 2 movies, the card reader declined all 3 of my cards (they worked in the airport before boarding). I guess Im used to the fantastic service of Alaska airlines, where they are much more willing to give you free things on the plane, meals, drinks, especially if the card reader doesn't work. Luckily the gal next me had some cash to cover me. I also asked for a pen to fill out my custom papers, and a stewardess said no, she didn't have a pen and walked off. I would like to say I wouldn't fly them again, but they are cheap, and not having layovers is really nice"

Cons: "Curfew in Frankfurt. Forced to spend the night as there are no flights going out in the airport after 11pm. Citizens of Frankfurt do not like airport noise. So just be aware of this when booking. Gate information isnt available or visible until 30 minutes before boarding. So if you're an early bird you are left wondering where to go or if you're in the right place. Boarding process is terrible. No announcement as to what section is boarding except for premium/first class. Free for all after that and rude gate staff. Like just open your mouth and tell us who is suppose to board so they'll be no confusion. If you are brown/black, please note security/police in Germany will do a "random" security check on you again at the gate. Just comply :-( As others mentioned the food is quite unsavory. Eat before you get on and bring plenty of snacks."

The entertainment system on the way back did not work; for half the people on the plane"
