Bus from gate to plane waited more than 30 minutes in a freezing temperatures of a/c. Plane temperature was very cold .
The flight was mostly good, but I sat next to a couple of passengers who were semi unpleasant. We sat next to the emergency exit. One man was drunk and when he got up to get something from the overhead compartment, he tripped and fell on me while I was sleeping, waking me up. The other man seemed sick as he was sneezing a lot and clearing his throat and nose often. This made the flight a bit unpleasant unfortunately. Otherwise I’m usually very happy with QA. Thanks

Firstly the flight was delayed, these things happen but nevertheless I end up missing my connecting Qatar flight to Belgrade, put into a horrible little hotel for 24hrs without my bag, no clothes or toiletries. At one point during the flight once everyone had their chairs reclined one hostess told me to not put mine so far back?!?! Then when asked well then person in front of me has to move theirs forward and her response no they don’t. Absolutely shocking. To think I wanted to upgrade to business class. I’m traveling the globe over the next year and thought let me try Qatar but never again with this type of service and how they treat their customers."

Cons: "Flight was late. There was no communication about it. The flight from Joburg to Doha was late, therefore I missed my connection. The delay was not officially communicated to any of the passengers — no announcements made, no representatives to talk to at the gate — until well past the time that we should have been in the air. It was distressing."

The boarding was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The fault lays on Ohare Airport and not so much the airline. The waiting area by the gate was the size to accommodate a regional flight for 20-30 people and right next to a busy walkway. When you cramped nearly 300 passengers into that space is was unbearable.
Seats actually fit a human! Snack options were a bit lame but that’s ok

The seat arm rest was solid and would not go up making a long flight uncomfortable
The leg room in the plane was really small. Also I was sitting near very large man who basically occupied third of my seat space so it was even more uncomfortable.
Never happened. Lufthansa canceled numerous flights. Had to stand in line at Frankfurt Airport for 6 1/2 hours to rebook. Had to bypass Paris.
2 transfers in Germany requires Schengen visa. Lufthansa representatives ensured us that this is not the case. Yet, we were not allowed to board. Lufthansa even refused to refund the fees we paid separately to purchase seats.
Food was not good and it was not enough for a 9:45 mins flight
I was traveling with a young child and the flight attendants were rude and unhelpful when simple requests were made like an early cracker or cookie to help distract him while everyone else was boarding. Also, my wife received dirty looks from an attendant when she asked if she could get by while holding our crying infant. They made us feel like a burden instead of a paying customer. The food was really sub par, especially the breakfast sandwich; cold, soggy veggie sandwich with no flavor (zero seasoning or vinegar or oil) and as mentioned the bread was cold and soggy wet. Also, there seemed to be something wrong with one of the bathroom’s ventilation, the smell was terrible throughout the entire flight. In the past Lufthansa had a good reputation for customer service, they are actively destroying it with how they currently treat passengers. If our return flight is as bad we will never fly Lufthansa again.

They don’t offer much to eat for a 6:40 am flight. It was a drink and a cookie. They could’ve offered more to eat. I am comparing this to KLM who we flew into Florence with.
Our entertainment/movie and audio did not work during our flight. Two of our bags did not make it to our final home destination. No personal assistant. Everything is via email/web with no assistance.
Missing bags at final destination. Super hot in plane. No water offered during flight. Check in at Frankfurt was horrible too. Overall bad experience
