Cons: "got crushed here at airport. There was a lot of people here at 5am. No one was at the ticket counter and all check-ins were automated. So no staff available at ticket counter. The auto system didn’t recognize my passport with the ticket. Then I had to go to duty manager who was not helpful."

One of the flight attendants then blamed me for it because Kayak had booked the connecting flights too closely. I was then shuttled downstairs to ground crew who were terse, uncommunicative, and downright mean. I ended up in a hotel and can only hope this last part of my flight gets better. I’m still in beijing as I write this. And no wi fi on the domestic or international legs of the flight. Primitive."

Cons: "My seat was broken. I had to sit lop-sided for the entire flight. The plane looked like it was built in the ‘90s. There was one screen on the wall constantly playing. It’s not like I had an option to look away as it was in front of me when I would try to relax. The check in desk was ridiculous as the line wrapped all the way through BKK airport. They needed to organize the queue better."

Cons: "I was delayed by a connecting flight and there was no way to pre-check, notify the airline or get ahold of anyone to let this be known in advance. I tried customer service for airline, for travel agent etc. no way to get ahold of anyone. Thought I was there at the time of boarding, they would not let me board, because I was not within their 1 hour check in time so I missed the flight. Since connections to Korea are only once per day, I was delayed a full 24 hours and endured several more hardships that could have been easily avoided with some good customer service. Also, it was stifling hot inside the aircraft and the crew could not seem to help cool it off despite twice asking them to get me some air-flow."
Pros: "My trip started off with airplane problems from the beginning. From my flight being delayed multiple times by air china to the overly packed united to the confusion of the non updated confirmation numbers or the e-ticket number. Even on the day I left upon arriving to the airport my confirmation number they had just given me after all the prior problems still didn't work. Air china had mediocre food with okay entertainment except my headset jack on the TV was broke and I couldn't watch anything. On the last air china flight from Bejing to Bangkok. I couldn't even charge my phone, watch any entertainment and basically was just stuck with no WiFi. Justfly wouldn't compensate for the changes on their end and said I myself would have to ask the airlines for compensation which the.the airlines directed me no where for compensation or even to upgrade my seat. Now I'm finally in Thailand but I'm scared of my return."

Cons: "Our original flight got cancelled so our departure time got pushed up one day, ending our vacation one day early. Then when we went to the Air China counter to get our boarding passes, the ticket on the new itinerary did not exist. So I ended up spending an hour on the phone (incurring a large international phone cost) in order to get on a plane. Our layover in Beijing was 10 hours on the new itinerary, which was terrible especially since we had great difficulty finding anything vegetarian in Beijing (ultimately just ate a bunch of croissants as a full meal). The food quality on the flights themselves were not great, but that is minor compared to how poor the rest of the experience was."

No compensation or apology for lost baggage. I will never fly air china and will do everything it takes to make sure anyone i know does not fly air china. When reclaiming luggage we were put on hold for 45 minutes all three times then also gave a call back option but they never called."

Cons: "Seats were very narrow and seat by window wouldn't recline like other window seats for both flights. (No I was not by the exit.) I am a vegetarian. And asked for no meat during meals provided. They didn't have my name in a special request list. The crew member did know how I would be asked to be put on the list and was rude when I told her I was a vegetarian even when I informed multiple crew members during my boarding since I had an issue the previous flight. The crew members in that flight were very rude even when I told them during boarding and a crew member came across with the special request sheet. Still no one could tell me how to put my name down as a special request to avoid any further confusion"

Cons: "The departure out of Beijing was delayed some 1.5 hours because of one person who apparently left his passport near the gate prior to boarding. It was a full flight. I was just stunned that they would inconvenience hundreds of people whose schedules, including mine, were affected by their decision. May be it was a policy issue. But the crew didn't explain it very well, seemed more sympathetic towards the individual. While that was a kind solution to that one individuals but I wondered about the judgement of the crew. It was very frustrating for the rest of the people waiting onboard. Also this was the first time booking through justfly.com because it seemed the cheapest but the hidden (additional) cost was in the seat selection stage afterwards. Kinda misleading."

Cons: "first flight to China was delayed so the connecting flight to Tokyo was missed. no explanation was given for the delay no food vouchers were available that night they lost my bag in china for 3 hours they brought me to hotel in unmarked bus with no explanation hotel told me that air china would only cover half the cost so I need to pay more or share a room the next day, air china's manager was uninterested in helping or explaining there hotel arrangements food on the last flight was just rice gruel and an aged egg. I am flexible but that's not even considered a meal in china. there is at least salt or pickled things in it. audio ports on plane did not work properly. on arriving home, most of the items in my suit case were crushed (coat hangers snapped, boxes crushed, bags ripped open) my dslr camera batteries were all taken (alkaline based ones) I travel between japan and america two or three times a year for the last 30 years. this last trip was one for the books! not sure where to start"

Cons: "1) Missed connection - my flight from New Delhi, CA 948, took off about a half hour late, resulting in a delay in landing in Beijing, and me missing my connecting flight to Washington DC. Not sure whom the blame for the delayed flight lies with, but the time gap between the two flights was only an hour, and this delay added about 12 hours to my journey, including a forced stay in Beijing. While the airline provided free accommodation and assisted in changing the flight, this error should not have happened at all in the first place. I guess I knew this possibility existed when I booked the flight, but I was hoping the airline would be competent enough to avoid it."
