I thoroughly enjoyed the service and attention from the crew from my flight with British Airways. Will try to book with them anytime I can.
Fully booked so the BA policy of 2 pieces of carry on falls down....
Pros: "The flight attendant in our long flight, London to Hoiston, was extremely nice and took very good care of our section. The seats were not all that comfortable: you could feel there was minimal padding on mine and my partner's neck rest wouldn't stay up."
Cons: "We were shocked to learn there were no outlets on the long flight from London to Houston. Luckily we had a power bank, otherwise our phones would've been dead."

Cons: "Seats were the smallest since I tried Ryan Air. Boarding is ridiculous process of elevators, buses, and salmon stand-offs as people board from the front & rear with no guidance. Arrival was also waiting on buses before a 15 minute ride to the far side of the airport. No food or beverage is offered free. Not a pleasant experience in any way."

Cons: "If you want to reserve your airline seat (I'm talking a standard economy seat) you have to pay $34 per seat if it's 24 hours or more before your flight. Guess what happens at 24 hours? The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline."

Soon it was all about air traffic control. said that FlightConnections would be working on flights for this with missed connections. not true - nothing done while we were flying, and landed"
Pros: "BA moved me on to the Kulula flight without any fuss and gave me a meal voucher."
Cons: "I got to the airport to find that my 19:15 flight had been delayed to 22:15. I hadn't received any notification from BA and still do not know the reason for the delay. The only other option available was for BA to put us on the 20:20 Kulula flight to Lanseria and then shuttle us from Lanseria to OR Tambo. It really is not pleasant to get back home so late on a week night and not even be given any warning or any reason for the huge delay."

Cons: "Being selected for extra security because I am American was upsetting. Worst turbulence I ever experienced the pilot didn’t even try to avoid it. Finally landed stuck on the ground in the plane 50 minutes before we got to the gate. Plane landed at 420pm and I didn’t get my bag until almost 7 pm. This caused me to have to throw my suitcase away because I couldn’t make it to my connecting flight in time. Worst travel experience ever"
Pros: "The landig was the best I have ever experienced in 20 years of travels, I was then informed that the pilot was a woman :) great to see more female pilots around"

Cons: "Seats didn't recline, no entertainment, no beverage or food service. Delayed leaving and landing and the ground crew couldn't find a working jet bridge further delaying the disembarkment. I almost missed my connection despite a 90 minite layover."

Cons: "This was a connecting flight and they should allow extra time when changing terminals. 2 hours was BARELY enough with 2 20 minute bus rides and a huge line at security, to top it off, 1/4 mile of moving walkway was shut down for no apparent reason. These are Heathrow issues, not really BA issues."

Cons: "When kindly asked a question by me, one of the staff didn't understand and instead kept insisting we didn't need a landing card (we did). Tried to rephrase the question and she persisted without trying to understand, rolling her eyes and swearing under her breath. Oh, and did I mention the part where we had to pay for our checked bags again? 75€ per bag. For me and my wife, that's the equivalent of a third ticket for our flight. May as well had our luggage fly next to us. So rude staff and exorbitant pricing for things that somehow weren't logged through third party. Cheers! (Sarcasm)"
Cons: "There should be an attendant at the entrance to the boarding area. Too many people try to line up and to into the queue before they need to. Either they don't understand the language or the procedures. There should be people walking around to answer questions on boarding procedures or better announcements in several languages. the Asians were extremely confused as were the Germans we encountered. They never announced for people with disabilities to get ahead of others. It was a big "casino" as the Italians say when everyone charges the boarding area. People could be put in groups according to where their seating is, making it easier for all."

Cons: "1. It was raining in Milan when I departed. Clearly my checked suitcase was exposed to major rain because several layers of clothes were very wet when I got home. 2. I'm a senior citizen trying to stretch funds to travel -- paying extra for an early seat assignment is not in my budget. Logging in 24 hours ahead to get a seat was incredibly inconvenient--I happened to be in a museum and without WiFi. (It could have been in the middle of the night or on a connecting plane.) I then had trouble entering all the required data and was finally told I had to wait 24 hours to try again-- that made no sense because I had to be on my flight 24 hours later. As a senior citizen who struggles with using the internet, it is particularly difficult. PLEASE let people choose a seat when making a reservation WITHOUT charging extra. 3. I was shocked that I couldn't get a glass of water without paying for it!!!!"

Cons: "No leg room at all. Felt like a sardine in a can. Not even water is free. Staff were horribly inefficient with the snack cart They finished 15 minutes before landing on a 2 hour flight!"
Cons: "Checkin staff , who don't appear tombs BA but from another airline working on behalf of BA, apparently punted a problem they knew would take much effort to resolve to the BA agents at Heathrow"
