Also in Boston the called all the family with children from business AND from economy to board first the we the Business we started to boarded after which was one hour after boarding time. That was REDICULOUS. Turkish Airline team was so slow and unprofessional unlike the team in Istanbul. But on the plane the service and food was excellent. Mervat Ali"

Cons: "A series of about 9 rows of 3 seats each row, had errors in to the monitors that normally you can watch a movie, watch news, or listen to music. Approximately 27 people could not use these monitors affixed in the seat before you. These monitors (screens) control the reading lights, the signal for the stewardess. Flight 33 on 6/30/2017 had 12.3 hours of blankness and the complaints were numerous, but the crew were of no use. I wish this would have happened to business or first class. The crew were horrible."

My grandmother needed a wheel chair and the lady who took her did not allow any of us to stay with her , mind you my grandmother can't speak English. The lady also told us that she didn't need the passport or her boarding pass ??? Because of that my grandmother almost got lost , we had to wait for her for an eternity. She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life"

Pros: "I used the prime lounge in Istanbul and when it was time to go, I was able to practically walk on the plane without any wait. The seats were comfy and didn't have a ton of legroom but it wasn't bad. The staff we're friendly and helpful. The in-flight entertainment had a pretty impressive selection and had one of the best-designed interfaces I've seen so far (and I've ridden a variety of airlines). Last and most important, the food was hands down the BEST I've had on a plane. Turkish is killing it, they're my new go-to airline!"

Pros: "It was a 12 or 13 hour flight and except for sitting too much we were never uncomfortable. The service level made me think we were back in the 80's. Hot towels, attentive service, tons of food and free drinks. There was actually one meal that we would have eaten even if it wasn't on a plane. They gave out full size blankets and pretty fluffy pillows. (I bring our own anymore, because you never know if you will get one on most airlines, and if you do they're usually useless). Their entertainment system was amazing. We caught up on all the recently released movies that we've wanted to see for FREE! If only Netflix had this quality of movie offerings. They had fresh flowers in the huge bathrooms. It's that type of attention to detail you just really don't see anymore."

Pros: "We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again."

This all began when airlines charged for baggage and carry on became the only way to travel without excess fees. There is not enough overhead storage for everyone to carry-on so let's go back to no fees for baggage. The boarding process will become smooth again."

They were friendly and went the extra mile to get our bags on our plan and on their way to the US. They checked us in quickly and ensured that we would make our flight. Can't thank them enough"

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

I would rather pay a couple hundred dollars more to have a quality flight experience."

Cons: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

Also, LH like many others continues to serve cold rolls and cold butter on international flights. KLM warms the rolls! Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. I also don't understand why my preferences from my profile are not used in the pre-allocation of my seat."

Cons: "Legroom marginal and seat ahead reclines too far, takes away all usable space for reading, etc."

Pros: "Flying Lufthansa is a much more enjoyable experience than the US based airlines. The seating is alway going to be cramped but the crew is a lot nicer than any of the US based carriers. The flight reached right on time."

Pros: "The crew, flight, food was great. At OTP, they don't take your shoes off and I rang because I had a metallic zipper on my boots. That costed me an extremely nasty and abusive pat down. They also searched my handbag, taking my stuff out and asking about everything, including eyeglasses. I was so upset that I forgot to take my passport from the bin."

Pros: "Friendly flight attendants. I really liked that there was water service constantly; flying can be so dehydrating. I wish that it was a breakfast service on our arrival to Sfo even though it was evening is the states; I felt that I missed breakfast."

Cons: "The staff needs to be retrained a lot like many police personal and subsequent Police departments. The first class is literally coach with a slightly nicer seat. They treat you like cattle at American Airlines. If you have another option take it."

So we got out of the lane only to have 5 passengers cut in front of us. Idiot lady misdirecting passengers. Poorly handled."

Cons: "We had a snow storm I arrived at the counter 75 minutes early. The staff were rude and unhelpful. By the time I got assistance it was 9:01and my flight would leave at 10:00. They would not check my bags. I had to be rescheduled for another flight tonight at 7:00. I hope it goes better. I still have received NO confirmation for my flight tonight."

Pros: "The onboard entertainment has definitely improved. Nice to see how organize is the boarding process when compare to other local airlines."

Also, had the had luck to travel next to an amazing mother who was traveling with two small kinds and a dog. Brave woman but nasty flight for me. Need to improve the meals on the international flights. Too mediocre."

Pros: "I found this flight to be very efficient and the crew very professional and friendly. After a previous 15 hour flight I was very tired and this flight was a welcome ending to my journey."

Cons: "My ticket was cancelled because of a misrepresentation made by an agent when I had to rebook the outgoing leg of this trip. I had to pay $670 for new ticket at the airport with no other options and very little help from the LatAm agents. I'll never book another ticket with this airline."

Pros: "Boarding process and flight crew were just fine - nothing excellent, just average. The plane was an older model, nothing special. We arrived 10 minutes early but then had to wait 20 minutes for a gate."

Cons: "I never experienced the flight because I wasn't given a seat. The airline oversold the flight and I never got to go. I missed my once in a lifetime experience because the airline is greedy at my (and other people's) expense. I missed out on a priceless experience. Not only that, the bag that I checked did not make it off the flight so I remained in DC while my bag went to Medellin. I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Tried to obtain seat assignment 1 1/2 hrs prior to departure and was only told it was too soon and they would call my name. 5 minutes prior to boarding, checked again and told by another airport helper that the flight was OVERBOOKED and now I was on STANDBY. Purchased tickets over a month and a half ago. No problems getting to Orlando but to return to this- UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT OVERBOOK a flight!!!!!!!! People make plans, have to work the following day and face the chance of not making it home-POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! Thankfully 5 people did not show for the flight, should NOT gamble with that!!!!!!!"

After I asked for her name, what a horrible overall experience from American airline s. Won't ever fly your airline again. I'll pay more money to avoid your company.."
