Flight cancelled by Seuss air and all onward flights missed
This is a quick flight from JoBerg to Livingstone. The small meal was very good, surprisingly, not a sandwich but a nice little chicken salad. Easy breezy flight if you travel long distance a lot. There is no entertainment and none needed for this short flight
Loved the in flight meal! Surprisingly good.! Staff on board were all friendly and professional! Book as far ahead as possible! Get your seat selection locked in ASAP
Far better than last return flight we had when the flight was delayed due to technical error and we missed our connection flight with no initial support from Airlink. This time thankfully all went well and will use again.
This was an excellent flight with great crew and a full complement service including a sandwich, a drink from the bar, tea, coffee or water with the meal and then a further bar service.
I can't understand how the priority boarding queue has so many people standing in it. I was travelling business class and arrived 40 minutes before boarding time and there we about 25 people in the queue ahead of me?
Delayed boarding... we were kept standing in the bus for too long... the bus was packed and smelling people!!! As if it's not enough,when we finally came off the bus, we had to wait again standing in the sun waiting to board..

Easy short flight from Johannesburg to Harare. Boarding was slow, flight attendants were friendly. They did a meal service on this short flight, including wine, which was pretty cool.
Flight was moved forward by 2 hours with 3 days notice. This meant I could not connect from flight from Johannesburg. So did not take the flight and drove to Kasane. Will never use Air Botswana unless absolutely necessary. Mark
This airline has now finally turned the corner and reminiscent of the old day service. Would definitely recommend flying with SAA.
Great experience all-round. From re-checking baggage directly before leaving the arrivals hall (coming from international), to fast and friendly boarding, to complimentary drinks and snacks on board. This was a very pleasant experience - even my luggage was delivered on the belt very quickly and it was a wonderful end to a 28 hour transit.

Boarded almost 48 hrs later after a scheduling change on my initial flight that was not communicated either by kayak of SAA.
I had booked a ticket for a 6:40 am departure in July 2025, but it appears there was a change to 8;00 am, which meant I missed my connecting flight which departed 10 m minutes before I landed. I had seen this problem only the previous day and try to resolve it with South African air, but they are very uncooperative on the phone. All they could say was all flights were fully booked and I ended up buying paying $2,000+ to secure a ticket for my family to ensure we got out of South Africa by Monday, which am currently pursuing with the airline.
The food options were beef or veg, No alternatives for Hindus, that don't eat beef...
On time flight; otherwise not impressed by the check- in- purchased business class and the aircraft was downgraded; no refund given for the difference. Told I could access the lounge due to the above and was questioned by the lounge check- in person who was not friendly

At the last minute as I boarded the airplane they made me check my carry on bag. When I arrived my Apple Watch, sunglasses, and medications had been stolen. I find this absolutely unacceptable. I will never fly with SAA again.

Overall good experience but for long distances there really needs to be more room.
The boarding was fast, the food was great; however, the seats & leg space were tight.

Love the dreamliner plane. It's such a smooth ride, I don't notice that it's 15 hours in the air. The staff are great and they don't overstuff you with food.
I really like this airline. The staff are lovely and friendly, the planes are tidy and unfussy. I would rate them at the top of the African Airline carriers.
Flying portion was fine. Below average comfort. We had 2 canceled flights and got stuck in 2 cities which took us 3 days to get home. Kenya hasn’t done anything or even reached out to us after complaining.
Food was awful and the seats were bad. No privacy in business class with the seat next to someone. 15 hours without WiFi!!!
Staff and service on board is always exemplary. Food however could be better.
They should improve their time management and how to reschedule flights in order to avoid long stopovers

Had excess weight and ended up being late going through security and customs, missed the bus to airplane. Got driven to airplane in a van when arrived at the plane driver got a phone call from security saying I had left my iphone at security we went back and retrieved the phone and managed to make back to the plane just in time to take off. Excellent Service Teamwork. ⭐️🌟✨💫🤩

It’s appreciated to see better food offer and a variety of drinks. White wine with supper was appreciated. It doesn’t need to be chilled. Red wine will be good. Thanks
