Anyways on time and excellent service

Considering I cancelled the flight 2 months ago -- I would have to say the communication was poor -- since I continue to received updates. I say poor since Kayak seems not to want to respond to me to reschedule a flight -- they hold my voucher -- so I can not do it on my own --

Cons: "My flight was canceled. The airline couldn’t help me because I purchased my ticket through a 3rd party/ aka kayak. I filed a dispute with my bank for the purchase of a $3500 airfare that was required to accompany the $7000 trip I purchased, for the trip of a lifetime to see Egypt and Jordan. This ARRANGANT responded that they were going to take me to claims court. I purchased a flight to Cairo, There were no flights out of Heathrow. That was my connecting flight. Who is responsible ?? kayak, you need to be better than this."

Cons: "I get that it’s Heathrow and not BA, but the random extra inspection process is super annoying. Nothing happens while you’re waiting in the terminal, then they pull you aside from group 2 as you board and before you know it you’re boarding back in group 5. If security used the time wisely, they could check 10x more people and not screw up the boarding process."

Cons: "Never took the flight because BA would not rebook me on a later flight after delays on their side caused me to miss my original flight, even though there were seats available on the later flight. This cost me a lot of time and money, but BA made out like bandits -- selling my original seat, and then selling out the next flight (because the delay!). Nice rip-off."
Cons: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."

Cons: "My flight Paris/London/Manchester?Chicago was the mos impleasant experience I ever had. On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

With the price of a ticket more than Emirates, KLM and other airlines, always really suprised the overall crappy hardware, infrastructure on planes etc. When can we get a decent plane to fly the long haul flights. And an actual entertainment system like to competitors?"

Cons: "There was an abusive passenger sitting behind me that kicked my chair the entire flight. They were angry that they didn't have more space and that I wanted to have my seat back. I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

From Prague we were on time, When boarding in London started we were told to sit down again claiming Boeing 777 had equipment problem and they were waiting for parts to fix it. Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Then we sat on the plane 2+ hours duew to tire needing replaced, then the air was not working so it was terribly hot and stuffy, then the movie system was not working. Wish we could have gotten off plane during delay. Long flight to begin with, sitting for 2 extra hours was not fun. With all that being said, I am glad they took care of the issues and that our safety was first. Once we got in the air, a very good flight!"

Amazing attentive and friendly flight attendants

It was three hours delayed. If they knew people were delayed from other planes they shouldn’t have boarded us yet. We spent two hours just waiting on the plane

There was no entertainment and again, the seats were very cramped and uncomfortable.

Cons: "This was a multi city, round trip starting out of CLT. My connection was way too close, and we missed the connection due to a mechanical problem. The lines to get vouchers were super long, and the hotel was not the best. It was way after midnight when I got to the hotel, and I did not feel safe staying at a Quality Inn. I had to walk to my room outside, and had leave in the morning in the dark as well. I was traveling alone. Please put your passengers in a better hotel, closer to the airport. I did not expect that from American Airlines."

Cons: "Initially delayed by 3hours (mechanical) which was American Eagle couldn’t get their “bucket of bolts” to Springfield, MO on time so we missed our flight out of Charlotte to Barcelona. Then we were rerouted through Chicago, but lost our first class seats and were bumped back to coach. This was after I had bought first class tickets for the entire trip only to be told 3 months before leaving that AA decided to switch planes on our domestic flight so there’s were no first class seats. THEN, in Chicago we tried to get first class seats on British Airways which would have been fine but After being sent to another terminal (after the bus to that terminal had stopped running) we were turned back because British Airways wouldn’t accept the boarding pass that AA had issued us. Now, having to go back to the first terminal to DISCUSS all this, we miss that flight and wind up stuck in Chicago for another 24 hours. Then, that flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we lost a day and a half of our vacation."

Pros: "Boarding was good only because I skipped to the head of the line to get all the way to the back of the plane without having to wait in the aisles for others to get situated or hold anyone up (as no one was going further back than I). Staff was pleasant, did what they could with what they had. I was very happy that the back of the plane was not very full and I was able to lie down on the floor to nap for a couple of hours."

I was frustrated by the merry-go-round visual of our plane en route to our destination and wished I could have gotten the simple clear images that were being shown at the front of our cabin. I am sorry that the only vegetarian meal is Asian, as some Asian spices give me a belly ache."

One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone."

Cons: "I wasn't informed when I booked that the flight was operated by Air Canda's budget variant, rouge, and not Air Canda as was listed on Kayak. I had no option to select seats, and when we boarded I was seated on the last row by the galley with no reclining seats and the florescent lights were on nearly the whole time on a 10 hour overnight flight. There are no seat back TVs and the free streaming service went down repeatedly just like the AC outlet at our seats (there are only two of these for three people). I booked this trip nearly a year in advance, and I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't informed that I was flying a budget airline on a 10 hour flight."

Cons: "United it terrible at letting you know flights are delayed. Got to the airport and found out my flight wasn't going to take off till 2:45 which was 4 hours later then my scheduled flight. I asked the ticketing associate why it was delayed and she said that it was due to crew issues. At least let me know that the flight is delayed so I didn't have to get to the airport 5 hours before my flight took off."
