Cons: "The staff at Vic Falls airport tried to charge me several hundred dollars for extra bag fees. The fee kept changing depending on who I was speaking with and when I agreed to pay with my AMEX they said they did not take AMEX so they eventually waived the fee. This was only done after showing the manager a printed copy of my booking which listed that passengers are allowed 2 checked bags each. This was all done in the office of the South African Airways who I assume was managing the Airlink flight."

Cons: "Similar to some other reviewers we had to completely exit the terminal at JNB and then check in for our international flight sequence on Qatar, this was easy but caused a little anxiety, especially after learning that the total checked baggage for one person on the air link is 30kgs (66lbs) which is less than standard international weights. We had to pay extra for the “overweight” bags but the cost was reasonable. I would use the airline again."

Beverage selection was poor and again same as in economy. The lunch was the only difference: a plate of chicken instead of a sandwich. SO WHAT DID I GET FOR PAYING BUSINESS? a curtain, a plate of chicken and exclusive access to the toilet at the head of the plane. Shame on SAA for selling this as a SAA business flight. Or Kayak for wrong advertisement. In the future I will definitely not pay for business as it is absolutely not worth it and will try to fly this portion with Air Botswana"

"The flight was ok, but the number of people not wearing masks was alarming. Crew members would walk by unmasked people and say nothing. Protocol is supposed to be strict right now and it was very disappointing to experience a flight this way. It calls into question everything else that the crew manages…I felt unsafe."

The person that picked me up at the aircraft from London was terrific, l was taken to the terminal and told that another team member would take me to the aircraft. No one showed up until the aircraft was fully boarded, then he left me at the beginning of the ramp instead of wheeling me to the aircraft. I was very disappointed! I was so disappointed I didn’t wait for a pickup at the airport in Amsterdam. I regret it, because I’m in so much pain!"

With the price of a ticket more than Emirates, KLM and other airlines, always really suprised the overall crappy hardware, infrastructure on planes etc. When can we get a decent plane to fly the long haul flights. Cons: "There was an abusive passenger sitting behind me that kicked my chair the entire flight. They were angry that they didn't have more space and that I wanted to have my seat back. I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

Cons: "Was not able to check in through to Cape Town, only JNB. When arrived in JNB, British Airways flight was not clearly identifiable from ticket (no flight number). Then the flight was delayed, and plane was old! Horrible experience"

Cons: "I have both celiac and a mushroom allergy -- no meal option was proviided to accommodate both. Sure enough, my gluten-free meal contained mushrooms. (It's surprising to me that, since celiacs often have other food allergies/sensitivities, the meal contained a pretty common allergen.) Stuff happens sometimes, but it felt a bit as if the flight attendant felt inconvenienced by my inability to eat the meal. Also, usually disabled passengers are given the opportunity to pre-board -- the wheelchair didn't arrive until quite late, so I was one of the last people, if not the last, on the flight, something that makes getting settled a lot more difficult than when I've been allowed to pre-board. I realize that wheelchair attendants are employed by the airport, not the airline, but he gate agent seemed unconcerned about the fact that nobody had arrived to pick up wheelchair passengers despite the fact that everyone else was already boarding. Finally, the flight departed/arrived quite late, which meant that I had about 10 minutes to spend in the Heathrow Club World lounge before having to wait for a wheelcehair attendant to take me to my connecting flight."

There were all these secret ways of getting help that they said we didn't qualify for. Supervisors and managers were not available unless I left their desk and went to departures. They said I would have to go back through immigration.. but thankfully, right before I did, someone came and spoke to me. From our several interactions, we received no apologies, but felt that the theme was that everything was my fault.. not the best feeling as a customer. Only my one chat with the supervisor was very nice. She was very patient, sat down with me and helped direct my concerns. Especially with a 13 hour delay. Nairobi seemed great, but our interactions with the staff really took away from our experience. And we missed our vacation in the end.."

I thought the amount that I had paid to KAYAK was final? I will NEVER dare use such a travel agent engine again in future!"

They told us they'll take us to a hotel but by the time we reached the hotel after a long wait for visa we only had 3 hours left to go back to the airport. I missed my connection flight from Bangkok and I had to spend a hotel in Bangkok which I ended up paying extra for my hotel in Bangkok and connection flight from Bangkok. The airlines was not willing to do anything about my other flight I missed and me spending overnight in Bangkok."

Pros: "Flying from Bangkok to Hong Kong, I didn't expect to be on an airline based out of Africa. Even though it was only an hour-long flight, it included in-flight entertainment and a full meal. The plane was a bit older, but comfortable, and the crew were very kind, friendly, and didn't rush the passengers. I hope I get the chance to fly on Kenya Airways again."

Pros: "I was surprised at how good the food was. Really surprised to run into someone I knew from a previous trip to Kenya. She was assisting a handicapped person, so don't know if she worked for Kenya Airways or the airport. Unfortunately, there was no time to talk."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed by 90 minutes so that passengers on a late flight could join us. Once arriving at Lagos, our luggage was nowhere to be found. The airline failed to follow up regarding when the luggage arrived at Lagos. Horrible experience. Fly with Kenya Airways at your own peril."

Cons: "It delayed one hour both tip. I lost my time to promise with my guest. Keep the filght time."

Cons: "The flight was 5 hours late, we were not informed while waiting or why it was late. It was very frustrating, especially that Nairobi airport has no free wifi. Kenya Airways is not to the standards of other Sky Team companies."

Cons: "Flight was delayed by nearly two hours. my baby stroller was left on tarmac in rain and was soaking wet when we received it at JKIA so I could not even put my exhusted son in it. Kenya Airways needs to step up its customer service."
