Cons: "Food was not good at all. My 12 year old couldn't eat at all."
Pros: "Overall very good"
Cons: "This seemed far different from emirate flights that I'm used to. Over the years their service has decreased but the 1 meal and sub-par snack I got for an 8.5hr flight was poor, likened to a budget airline. This is the second flight recently I've been on that the drinks come so long after the meal you don't even get to enjoy your cola with the meal. The first food cart should have colas if there won't be another cart to come along until 30+ minutes later. I also expected Emirates to provide an eye patch, an 8 hr+ flight in the night time hours in worthy of an eyepatch. Budget airlines do not provide this, but I expected Emirates to. Lastly, I don't think it's necessary to hand out a menu indicating there is something to look forward to when the food is of quite poor standards for Emirates, standard for all other airlines. Maybe the Durban to Dubai route stocks he flights with less experienced crew, this is the impression I got; a much less refined group of people on the plane."
Cons: "Bad seat"
Cons: "Staff unfriendly on Baghdad flights most of the time"
Pros: "Friendly crew, great extras, great food. Superior experience with this airline."
Pros: "My mother was the passenger Emirates & was her first experience flying alone, but having airline assistance. She marveled at their service & at every consideration to make flying alone as a senior seamless & worry-free. She was so happy of their thoughtfulness for carrying her luggage, driving her wheelchair, checking in for her w/her passport & picking up her luggage at the baggage round, that she tipped him $20. She made us sure that she would LOVE to fly alone back home again to the PH without us as long as she has airline assistance. A hint for us! She also liked how there was more foot room for economy seats than in Delta & EvaAir for this long trip & it helped her stretch her legs, as well as, the little Emirates pocket bag they give w/ear plugs & a eye mask with socks."
Cons: "She says that on her way to MNL from JFK (with the 1 stop at Dubai) the food was delicious. However on the way back home from MNL to JFK, the food was not good & she just slept all the way through."
Pros: "Attentitive staff, leg room, food, entertainment - all great"
Cons: "Still wish I could buy better wine during the flight from Economy. Would pay $100 a bottle for great wine. The wine in coach is undrinkable."
Pros: "Lots of leg room in a very comfy seat. Great cabin service from friendly and helpful cabin staff. Great entertainment options. Thankyou"
Cons: "I found out that my payment was not verified as I arrived at the airport and I wasn't informed my email or any kind of way about it. It was a total disaster. Deeply disappointed. Regards"
Pros: "The crew was great in everything that they did."
Pros: "USB chargers at every seat Plenty of entertainment options and new movie releases Good food Tidy bathroom Extremely pleasant air hosts and hostesses"
Cons: "Being in Economy Class. The difference between Economy and Business Class is worlds apart"
Cons: "I had a terrible experience on my flight from BLR to LAX on 12/30/2016. My flight from BLR was delayed for 3 hours because of fog. I had a connection flight from Dubai at 3:15 pm the same day and I was going to miss it. I had a flight from LAX to SFO(I had booked this separately via a domestic airlines) on the 31st at 10 am. The ground staff at BLR told me that they would put me on the 8:30 am flight to LAX on 31st. That would mean more than a 12 hour wait at Dubai airport and they informed me that accommodation would be provided. Based on this I rebooked my LAX to SFO(I paid extra for this) for the next day. On reaching Dubai I was told that I will be put on the 3:30 pm flight on 31st instead of the 8:30 am flight. That would mean a 20 hour wait at the airport. I was also given a SINGLE food voucher and told that no hotel accommodation would be provided. I was also going to miss the LAX to SFO flight which I had rebooked. I requested the ground staff to try and put me on a direct flight to SFO instead. After begging them for a while they put me on a stand by status on the 7:30 am flight the next day. I spent 12 hours in the airport. That flight was further delayed by 3 hours. When my husband contacted the customer service on 31st morning, they told him that accommodation would be provided and sent me an email confirming that. This was in the morning after I had spent 12 hours in the airport. If accommodation was available why was I told by the ground staff that all rooms were full? I also saw them hand out hotel vouchers to other passengers with shorter wait times than mine. Was it based on their nationality(I sincerely hope not but the reviews I am reading of Emirates online suggest otherwise). Fog and other weather conditions are completely understandable but the discriminatory behaviour of the ground staff in Dubai was really disappointing. This new year weekend was my honeymoon and it was completely ruined because of this trip."
Pros: "Liked the entertainment."
Cons: "Some of the crew members were rough. Bashing the passengers and missing the courteous approach. Especially the segment between Dubai to Hyderabad. No snacks available in the kitchen between meals on the long 14 hours flight segment."
Cons: "I would prefer to have slightly wider seats in economy for such a long flight they are a little cramped"
Pros: "Emirates is an excellent airlines. Excellent service, comfortable seats, great food, etc., etc."
Cons: "Too many crying babies."
Pros: "Great service, comfortable seats, and great entertainment ..the food isnt too bad depending if ur not a picky eater, but overall its the best"
Cons: "It is about 14 hour long flight. There should be m more number of meals served. Pizza served as As snack was cheap, ok but not that great, should have been a meal (lunch or dinner)"
Pros: "Although the printed menus are a classy touch, I feel like they are an enormous waste- completely unnecessary. At the very least they should be recycled."
Cons: "Cabin service was very slow. We were an hour and a half into each flight before we were offered a drink. No additional drinks were offered with the meal. There were no further services offered after the tea and coffee service... 3 full hours before we landed! Also, the economy class seats are extremely cramped. When the person in front of me leaned their seat back, I couldn't eat my mael comfortably and the TV screen was 12 inches away from my face."
