Cons: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."

Costed us $500 to buy things on emergency basis for our family and they delivered the bags after 2 days. This was very unprofessional and Lufthansa has to pay for it. Can you please help. Next time we will certainly have to avoid The airline as their gate transfer in Frankfurt is horrible with very rude security staff who has no interest helping our family to board the flight on tight connection. Instead the person decided to go on his break right when we were at the X-ray screening. How rude and unthoughtful."

The families-first boarding made our flight much more pleasant than we'd expected. In all my travels, it's rare for me to have two pleasantly astounding experiences in the same flight. Thank you for your improvements of bathrooms, Lufthansa!"

Cons: "They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

Cons: "I wished to change to an earlier flight with plenty of seats available. the Lufthansa ticket agent stated the only way, as I had booked a "light" fare, was to pay a full-price one-way economy ticket--plus luggage--for about 380 euros with no credit for my current ticket. After booking a day-room at a local hotel, I checked in on-line and discovered for 115 euros I could have upgraded to business class, with luggage included, and been accommodated on schedule changes. My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

Spent the whole day trying to contact them by calling from Rome on American phone which ended up costing over $100, eight times the.l hold was over an hour after which Lufthansa just hanged up. Here is German "reliability, responsibility, and organization" in action!"

Cons: "My flight was cancelled due to the pilots' strike. I only learned about this when I attempted online check in. Lufthansa never attempted to notify me. Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Pros: "Really liked that glasses water, soda and juice were readily available near the staircase to the bathrooms. The seats were spacious and comfortably reclined. The staff went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. I appreciated them refilling my cup right after being served a drink because I was thirsty and had immediately drank the first cup. The movie selection was pretty good but could have had more up to date movies. I liked the touch screens."

Cons: "The only complaint I had was that it was very warm on the flight (and I usually get cold on flights), and in the seats we had there weren't fans above the seats. A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. The lady at the service desk was not very patient (which is understandable since a loy of people had to rebook their connecting flights). But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem."

I missed the holidays with my family and had to buy a new plane ticket on a different airline because they could not reschedule me on time!"

The third lady just said it was overbooked I didn't have a seat she was busy with other stuff and would deal with me later to listen to for my name to call. Not impressed with deltas service at the airport. The flight crew was very nice."

Then this flight Washington connection to Detroit from raleigh the pilot never showed up and extra hour went by, we got a new pilots but, then leading to faulty paperwork that took another hour and thirty minutes after boarding the plan to get sorted. When we got that sorted they then proceeded to tell us that the flight atendent had to leave and we had to wait another 20 min for another atendent to arrive before finally making our way to Detroit. They said to file a complaint and we would be compensated for our wait. Not sure if this is the right spot but I'm giving it a go. Thank you Keith Www.keithschmidt.com"

Pros: "I had left my laptop at security and the woman at the on board desk (wish i knew her name) changed my flight to go on a later flight to West Palm Beach instead so I could get my laptop and continue on my way to Florida. She didn't even charge me anything extra! The West Palm Flight wasn't full and I was able to get closer to my destination going to West Palm Florida. The flight was smooth and the snacks were great too!"

Cons: "I had absolutely no leg room. I felt like I had been hunched over the entire flight. The overhead system was horrible and bi one could make out what the flight attendants were saying in the microphone."

Pros: "I liked the entire flying experience. It was ideal. Best part to me was the pre check and not having to go thru the line. Flight left early, arrived early, I had a middle seat and it was comfortable."

Pros: "Food and drinks were great - even had three choices in Economy. Staff was great and attentive and seats were comfortable. Other than the screen problem mentioned everything else was great."
Cons: "The display screen was not calibrated, so if you pressed a button the button two buttons over would activate. This meant I could not watch movies or hear audio because those buttons didn't work. The staff rebooted the virtual Linux server for that seat, but this had no effect on the uncalibrated screen."

Cons: "The United Terminal at Newark is hideous and United should be ashamed to be associated with this poor quality. The airport is a construction zone at best. The aircraft is tiny, cramped and inadequate."

Pros: "Crew were nice especially at boarding."
Cons: "No free entertainment despite having a screen at each cramped seat. No nuts, pretzels or anything else offered with the beverage. Only food available was being sold. Had to pay for each checked bag. Website is one of the least user friendly of any of the airlines."

Pros: "Staff was courteous, and explained situation clearly."
Cons: "After booking my flight two months prior and checking in 12 hours earlier, I was not allowed to board the plane because United had overbooked. Thus forcing me to fly to Charlotte then Newark at a 5 hour delay. There was also no drink for those in my row during a two hour flight from Charlotte to Newark."

Pros: "Because of our incident in LV, This flight was out of Denver. The flight attendants were fantastic! The staff was very helpful, and was able to get seats together."
Cons: "They had issues with the wifi, so there was no entertainment."

Pros: "everything went as planned"
Cons: "being smushed like a sardine"

Pros: "excellent aircraft, roomy, comfortable and clean. the flight attendants were very attentive but not pushy"
