Cons: "Flight attendant missed couple lines of food and after letting them know instead of bringing the cart back they were tossing the entire plate on top of the head of the other passengers. One of them fell of right on one of the passengers. The second thing that irritates me is that one of the flight attendant approached me and was asking if I want chicken beef or pasta and I said chicken and she was like that is not an option in a very rude tone as of I am dumb or deaf of some sort. The other passengers also confirmed that they heard she did say that chicken was an option She could’ve nicely said it or apologized for telling an option that doesn’t exist. Instead she was giving an really bad attitude about it. Very irritated"

Cons: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

Cons: "The Frankfurt airport is an embarrassment to Germany. Taking buses to your plane, going up and down stairs to depart or board a plane is archaic. Therefore most Lufthansa flights in and out of this main hub are delayed. There should be some rule that meals will not be served to customers who have their seat reclined. The poor person behind them has no comfortable way to eat."

Cons: "My passport was stolen on the overnight train I took to get to the airport. It wasn't until I was off of the train that I went to grab my passport and credit card and realized my tiny little purse was gone. I had to rush to the US Embassy, get a new passport, and then rush back to the airport. I didn't arrive until 40 minutes after my flight had left and I was a nervous wreck. Unfortunately Lufthansa staff could not care less. The guy at the ticket counter even looked at my new urgent passport that had the issue date listed as today, so clearly this all had just happened as it was only 10:50am still. What did Lufthansa do? Well they told me if I wanted to fly out the same day, I would have to pay 2700 Euro additional! My jaw dropped and then he said I could fly out tomorrow for an additional 675 Euro instead. I was still in shock as I felt like I had just been taken advantage of with my stolen passport and credit card and now it's happening again. I asked if there was any way he could find something cheaper and he said that I paid so cheap for this flight that I would need to speak with the agency I booked with to help me out more and then he dismissed me. Let me have you know that I booked this fare during an amazing sale that Lufthansa was having and I booked it directly through their website and now it was being held against me. There was no offer to pay something like a $200 change your flight fee. Instead he let that plane leave with an empty seat because I didn't have the 2700 Euro to pay him. Here I was, alone, nervous, in a foreign country, and I had to get my thoughts together the best I could and I immediately started looking up my own flights. I ended up having to book a flight with a different company and just forfeiting any kind of credit that Lufthansa would have applied to their overly exorbitant priced flights. Good job Lufthansa for being the worst customer care service I have ever experienced... and I have flown over 20 airlines and over 100 flights."

I had an upgrade to economy premium because of the disaster with the DC to Franlfurt flight but I still experienced pain because I could not lay flat. Pros: "I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins."
Cons: "Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however."
Pros: "What a wonderful experience. My husband is a very tall man and he had commented on how much leg room there was in this plane. Everything was very comfortable, people were very polite. Wonderful experience. We also appreciated in the terminal in Munich the free coffee and newspaper stand when we left the plane. How refreshing it was to be able to get a free cup of coffee after a 6am flight. We will be looking into Lufthansa again!"

Cons: "Overbooked flight- cancelled many people's trips! A dozen people with printed out and confirmed flights were turned away and asked to book with other airlines. Anyone who didn't checkin online was left at the airport- even those who booked, paid in full, and confirmed in person at the Kenya Airways office the day before. And we were all at the airport hours early. The ground staff in Arusha had no idea how to check people into the flight. They lied to us about what was happening and wouldn't update us about how they overbooked. They tried to email the main office and refused to just call them on the phone. I only got on the flight because I ignored their suggestion to 'just go sit down and let them work it out'. For people who did what they were told- they all missed the flight. I did online checkin on my phone and then all of a sudden there was a seat for me on the plane and I got on. Everyone else was left at the airport with no idea what was happening. I normally love Kenya Airways, but this level of overbooking and incompetent ground staff made me change my mind."

Cons: "My flight was 36 hours delayed and Kenya Airlines did not tell us why. I then heard that the same flight had been delayed three nights in a row. This led me to book another flight to my destination, so that I did not miss anymore of my trip. I am going to pursue a refund of my original flight. It seemed to me that Kenya Airlines new the flight would be delayed and said nothing until two hours before. Also how they handled the situation was very poor. I will never fly with Kenya Airlines again."
