Pros: Luis, the owner, was amazing at checking us in. There is nothing he could have done better. Apartment is in the best location, and parking is very convenient.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We ere treated to an extra special breakfast in a lovely environment. we were close to the down town attractions and the staff oriented us well on what to see, where to park and how to make the most of our experience. Bathroom was large and well appointed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, walking distance to beach, restaurants and old town. We had a room in the back building. Room was very spacious and quiet. Was nice that we could hear birds chirping in the evening. Great rain water shower head. Very nice and comfortable common areas. Staff were all very polite, helpful and professional.
Cons: The carpet in the room was looking a bit old. Maybe time to replace or just replace with a hard floor? Just a suggestion. Also, would be nice to have USB charging port in room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Villa Soro for 4 nights. The main building is elegant with a very warm atmosphere. I had a corner room on the first floor of the newer building which had it owns semi-private outdoor space. Both were nice. The bedroom and bathroom were of good size and quite utilitarian. The newer house has no street noise, though the area is sufficiently quiet that I would be surprised if the original house is affected by traffic noise. The staff is very polite and helpful. I chose to stay at the Villa as I thought I might find interesting people with whom to talk. Breakfast seemed like an obvious time but the bar is actually pretty lively at night. My wish was fulfilled. Members of The Morgan Motor Club were there with their glorious convertibles (British racing green, of course) and there were 2 architects from Stockholm on their way to Bilbao.
Cons: My bathroom was not adequately cleaned. I suppose this was due to the maid believing that Americans only take showers. However, there were enough clues that I take baths. The tub wasn't cleaned (or not to my standards) and neither q-tips nor hand soap were replaced in a timely matter.. I found there was too much noise transmitted from the room or rooms above which may have been just the luck of the draw in whose overhead. Note that this really is a residential area and you will have a good 30 minute walk to the bus station or even most restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful!! Totally recommend

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a great location, gorgeous decor.
Cons: Tv in the room was supposed to be digital but wasn’t working. Small thing BUT for the money ( expensive) basic services should be there. When we complained ( we like a late night movie) didn’t receive any apologies merely defensive comment ( the service is a complimentary service at the hotels discretion) I didn’t like that.

Pros: The perfect location, impeccable service, very good Vietnamese restaurant on the premises. Rooms are very large with everything you need.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

With the information given by the staff, you can get to the city readily but having a car is definitely was helpful to drive around to nearby sites.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and lovely big room with spacious bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. Very clean
Cons: Unfortunately due to location, it was a very noisy room at night time - street noise and vehicles. This can’t be helped but perhaps extra glazing on windows should be considered!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has an excellent location! It is within walking distance to soo many sights and tapa bars. The room is small but had good sized closets to help us keep organized. It was very clean and comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pensión Aldamar was exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean, comfortable, charming, and in a great location.
Cons: Honestly, no real complaints. The only sort of surprise was that our balcony was shared. We visited in the fall so it was too cool to sleep with the door open, but if that was something we wanted to do, I'm not sure we would have felt comfortable doing so since we shared the balcony with our neighbors.
7,5 Good
Pros: The little amenities that were available in the bar for free and the free coffee with cookies in the morning.
Cons: The room was too small. Maybe it would be good idea to have a sign/indication of the hotel in the main door, since it was not easy to find it.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, 10 minutes walk from the university conference centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection suiting most tastes, including for example membrillo and cheese, scrambled eggs, baked beans, a choice of milks (skimmed, full-fat, non-lactose) . Personally I look for a decent muesli, which they didn't have, but I wouldn't expect muesli in Spain so I'm not complaining.
Cons: The shower took ages to get hot, and was very sensitive to the angle of the hot-cold lever, and the temperature seemed to vary from time to time. The gym is in a separate building, two doors up the road.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Its location is great, right next to Ondarreta beach and several nice restaurants and bars, and we could really rest and enjoy our stay. All the staff was very welcoming and helpful, so it rounded up a great experience!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, spotless room. Public parking around the hotel is crowded, but if you happen to find a place, it is just 3.6 Euro per day. As alternative, private underground parking in the hotel is available at 22 Euro per day.
Cons: At the time of check-in a lady at frontdesk seemed unfriendly and distracted. No ventilation in the room's WC. The kettle provided in the room was leaking so we could not use it. It is 25 min walking distance from the hotel to a city center, but it was a pleasure to walk along beaches enjoying breathtaking scenery.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast with a great array of dishes
Cons: The high payment for the parking
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in good walking distance to the beach and city center. Very friendly staff. Perfect communication upfront with personal that tried to help create a great experience, accommodating needs. Car park at the hotel available. Nice rooms, complementary coffee/tea and very thick blinds that assure a deep , long sleep.
Cons: Sound isolation worked well towards the street in front of the building, not so much towards other rooms.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Clean room and spaces.
Cons: The taste of the hotel is very particular. No US plug. So if you bring a shaver, you are in trouble. The hotel directory in the room was not coherent. It was written the gym was openned untill 10pm and when you arrive their, it was open only untill 9 pm. The room door didn’t close totally so I had to make sure it would close behind me. In order to access to the wifi, I had to proceed to certain pages that the receptionist didn’t give at check-in. NO COMPLIMENTARY WATER. I’ve been to many other places with better amenities and at least a welcoming water.
6,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is really nice, well decorated and the concept is so interesting about film’ history.
Cons: The location is not the best one ehem you go for short time
8,0 Excellent
Pros: For work I had to be in San Sebastian for one night. The location was just perfect for me. Not too far from the train-station, near the city center and on walking distance from the customer. The price was good. I had a nice dinner and I was very happy with the breakfast. I would consider to go to this hotel with my wife and then visit San Sebastian.
Cons: N/A
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were great, in-house cafeteria, very comfortable beds. The theme of each room named after a movie star is great.
Cons: Staff was not rude but not the friendliest for sure. Although walking distance it is a bit far from the center by San Sebastián standards.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, the bar, the staff
Cons: If I could’ve changed one thing it would be the location. Although, I didn’t mind the 10-15 minute walk to the heart of things.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great staff and hotel had a great vibe to it.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice staff, nice room, nice breakfast. Typical big hotel where everything works fine but nothing is really special and it ends up being too pricy for the service. We arrived at 22:30, the restaurant was closed and room service was not possible, this was really inconvenient. The room was cold and AC didn’t really make it better. I was expecting better...
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Decor Spacious clean rooms A/C Access to a cafe Availability of a restaurant Closeness of parking (under the building)

They have air conditioning, direct telephone, satellite TV and Canal Plus, safe, free WiFi Internet and bathroom with hairdryer and magnifying mirror. 9,2 Excellent
Pros: Love the location in the Antiguo district, and the hotel is right in front of a bus stop and a just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The staff was very helpful, and the woman in the coffee shop/restaurant was a whirl of efficiency. Our room was very comfortable (except for what I’ve noted below) and had a great view. And the price was very favorable for San Sebastian for this time of year.
Cons: The only negative in what would otherwise be a rave review is that the temperature in the rooms cannot be controlled by the guest. Heating (and air conditioning in summer) is centrally controlled and cannot be changed. Our room was a hot box. The only remedy that the hotel could suggest was closing the heating vent, but even when closed, the slats of the vent still let plenty of heat through. We left the windows open all day (outside temperatures were 7-13 C), but we had to close them at night because of the noise of the street outside, and by the small hours we were both waking up, hot and sweaty. If you like very warm indoor temperatures, though, this won’t bother you.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Even though the location is a bit far from city-center but local buses are convenient to reach the center. There is a supermarket near the hotel. The parking is not so bad.
Cons: It was a bit noisy outside even in mid-night by road cleaning or something.
4,5 Okay
Pros: off street parking
Cons: too far from old town; poor bar/dining facilities and grumpy receptionist

Pros: Very kind Staff and good position. Price / quality is very ok. Overall experience was good.
Cons: We asked for a double bed, but unfortunately we were told that no room was available with such condition. We got two single beds instead.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent welcoming reception. Helena made us feel like gold. Walking the Camino we wanted a couple days to indulge in the wonders of San Sebastián’s food and culture, Helena told us about the upgraded room for 15euros and it was so worth it. Our own terrace with view of Bay, large bright washroom and comfortable spacious room. Plus a complementary bottle of Champaign. Helena gave us awesome ideas for our inner foodie selves. We had a wonderful stay.
Cons: The only complaint would be the gap in the main door to the hallway as where the bed is situated the hall light streams in - I put a towel across floor and problem solved.

Pros: Perfect location overlooking the water. And the free bikes were great, such a great way to explore the bike trails everywhere!
Cons: Nothing, it was great!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fab location
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location! Right in front of the Concha beach and maritime walkway. There is simply no better place to be. The staff was also super friendly.
Cons: The only thing I did not like was the bed. It is very very very (did I say very?) hard. Mattresses (as the building itself) are very old. The rest, particularly location and staff, were great.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room felt luxurious—linens, bed, pillows, and the high ceilings and crown moldings. Bathroom was also very up to date and well equipped.
Cons: The Internet was weak and unreliable, we lost the signal repeatedly and usually had to go downstairs to sign on again. Also, our room was too warm, even though the heater was as low as possible. Finally we opened the window, cooling the room but letting in traffic noise. Also, parking was advertised but we didn’t realize one must make a separate reservation for parking, and the hotel lot was full when we arrived, which meant we had to park 3-4 blocks away. (Staff was helpful in directing us to a secure garage.)
6,0 Good
Pros: The overall style and decoration and the wondeful original lift with its old style wooden cabinet
Cons: Nice cozy and very stylish hotel well located on the san sebastian beach side. Old structure in a beautiful bulding but with very little facilities in small size rooms, although very well maintained and spotless.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Property was in a great location. Able to walk around the beach front and into the old part of San Sebastián.

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: the receptionist was friendly
Cons: The parking Was not nicely indicated when we arrived around the hotel. Have to park on the side walk run to the hotel .. After park the car into the parking I come back to receipt and I learn that is 20€ for left the car into the parking in addition to the room .. and one more time was not clearly mentioned when we book the night .. at the end was 75€ The problem with the rooom was the noise of the street ... windows are not sound proofed , so Friday night in San Sebastián it s party night and for me was an horrible night .. I thinks for 75€ can found better in San Sebastián with parking includ

Pros: Very friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location just back from La Concha beach. 20 minute walk from bus/train station. We had large heavy bags and found the footpaths difficult. Taxi is about €5, and worth it in rain or if you are struggling with bags. Note there are 10-12 stairs at the building entry, then a lift to reception on the First Floor. We had a room on the 2nd floor and there are a full flight of 3 sets of stairs/landings up and no lift. But once there the room was delightful. Tiny balcony with a tiny view to La Concha beach. Comfortable bed, good bathroom. Room for 2 large suitcases. Good heating (January visit). Might be noisy with the verandah door open but there’s aircon which we didn’t use due to excellent heating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a modest continental style but perfectly adequate for us.
Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like and would stay here again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The workers, they are really helpful
Cons: The noise, you can listen the conversations in the next room
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. One still has to climb steps to enter building prior to using elevator. No elevator for access to rooms once inside hostal. We did not request breakfast. Personnel were very helpful with local information. There is parking for a fee but a couple of blocks away, and traffic in the area can be intense, so trying to find a place to unload/load can be a challenge. We were directed to a side street not far form entrance that proved to be convenient for temporarily stopping/parking to unload. Would stay there again due to location.
Cons: Not the easiest of access with luggage.

Pros: The hotel was charming, clean, and extremely well located. Would recommend!
