10,0 Excellent
Pros: The desk staff was very professional, cordial, and welcoming! We really enjoyed the privacy but that would likely be different if this stay was not in the off season. The facility buildings bordered a wooded area that provided a great view during the morning snowfall, very picturesque. Though the facility appears to have been built many years ago the rooms were very up to date. It was obvious that the owners were very savvy about making upgrades and making them look like they fit the room. Very clean room, nice furnishings, comfortable beds, nice flat screen, and well priced.
Cons: Having to leave after only one night and that we had not found this fine establishment before this stay!
8,3 Excellent
Cons: Doors were very hard to open and would get stuck. Mild odor in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine
Cons: Room smelt a little musty mabe air this room out a little , possible due to air conditioning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I use a cane and found that the steps leading into the rooms were too steep. I advised staff that I could not manage the high steps and they relocated me to a "handicap" accessible room which had a ramp leading to the front doors thus negating my need to pretend I was a mountain goat. I was greatly appreciative. Also, the bathtub was much more accommodating!! This was our third visit but the previous visits were without having to use a cane!!!
Cons: Perhaps all the stone steps could be renovated. I suspect I'm not the only one with hip issues!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless. Nice amenities. Breakfast included.
Cons: We were in cottage 19. Neighbors in 18 were a bit noisy for a short while.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location and beautiful rooms.

The beds are horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were old as dirt . The chair in our room had hair and dirt/ dust all over it . And , no microwave in the room. The Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, where good food comes out of our Yankee ovens and warm hospitality greets every guest.Ebenezer Crafts opened the Inn in 1771 as a gathering place for citizens of Sturbridge and weary travelers along the Boston Post Road. In 1923, the property was purchased as a boarding house for women and renamed The Elms. During the 1940's, then owner, Richard Paige, leased the property to the US Army as a post for soldiers en route for training. The Publick House, during this time, moved across the common to a large white house. Not one day has been missed in providing good hospitality in over 230 years.Since 1771, Publick House Inn has been the lodging and dining hub for esteemed visitors, from George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and General Lafayette to present day travelers, such as actors Bill Murray, Susan St. James and John Travolta. Today, the old world spirit continues welcoming guests with open hearths and Yankee hospitality. The dining room features an indulging array of duck, lamb, lobster, and other specialty meat and seafood dishes, including a traditional Thanksgiving fare available all year long.
6,0 Good
Pros: The variety of options: restaurant, workout, pool, bakery, grounds, etc ...

Pros: The front building was historic but the buildings behind were motel-like, very unimpressive. The room it failed in many small ways. Nice lawn view but patio not cleaned in years. Pros: So quaint and I loved the beautiful gardens
Cons: I loved everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good. And they had a vegan/vegetarian menu for those of us who need it.
Cons: Problem was with booking.com-not the place. There are 4 different places to room at this setting and booking.com does not make that clear. There are fancier rooms and less fancy so I thought I was booking the fancy rooms. It was booking.com that was not clear. The Public House people were very good and did upgrade me as they knew that the way booking.com presented their place and the different levels of pricing was not accurate. SO be careful and aware of what you are booking for.

Pros: The staff and the breakfast were great!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will book here again.
Cons: It took all night for our room temperature to go from 80 degrees to 73 degrees. We were uncomfortable. Make it impossible for guests to turn on the fan. How were we to know that turning the fan on sucks air from outside?
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hot breakfast was much better than the average hotel hot breakfast. Surprising were the brie cheese and the plain greek yogurt. The room is spacious
Cons: A bit of highway noise at night, but slept well anyway. To meet the otherwise high standards of this hotel, the fitness room should have had resistance training equipment, not just dumbbells.

Cons: The pillows were too soft and felt the breakfast was a little expensive. We are missing a kindle device. We did inform the staff that possibly it was wrapped up With the linen on the bed. They said they check for us but it was not recovered. So that is a bit disappointing.

Pros: The room was clean. Morning staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not family friendly when you have to pay for parking and there’s no free breakfast like most hotels. That adds up for families. Our view was the parking garage. The person that checked us in was not very informative and wasn’t clear in her explanations on how the parking worked.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Friendly staff.
6,8 Good
Pros: Beds and bathroom were very clean. Nice view from balcony.
Cons: There were cobwebs and dust in the room. Pool was closed. We had problems with sliding door and room door. Mr Patel addressed the issues. Maintenance needs attention to details.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location is very convenient. Price is right.
Cons: The hot water took 5 mins to heat up. The whole hotel should be non-smoking, or designate an outside location away from other guests rooms. Someone was chain smoking right outside my door. Had to speak to them.
6,8 Good
Pros: The room was pretty good. Good location for us.
Cons: Did not like the bathroom. Place was in need of repair. Didn't care for the breakfast.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous: sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit.....waffles etc. The breakfast room was large; plenty of seating, air conditioned, and wonderful. Foods provided also included; packaged oatmeal, coffee (and carbohydrates galore; bread, muffins, and danish). Need I say more? I had a beautiful room overlooking the pool, with a balcony. The view from my room included visions of a waterway (lake or river?) There were birds swooping around the pool and the lake. Very picturesque. This hotel is 5 minutes from a huge shopping center, which includes Stop and Shop, Walmart, Michaels, Marshalls....etc. etc. Right near I-90, with easy access.
Cons: Here is the ironic truth: The swimming pool was being cleaned (and was closed) on a 93 degree day in July. I had planned my trip to include a swim after my work day was over. I was disappointed. To add insult to injury.....the internet was down for the whole day I need to check directions to different work sites. I was disappointed. I had to call someone who had internet access. Oh well. Was this in the control of Super 8 by Wyndham? Who knows. All I can do is report the facts.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great! It was way better than we expected! The staff was kind and helpful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Bed is very Comfortable. Clean room especially love the wooden floor
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good, typical Super8 breakfast (waffles, bagels, oatmeal, fruit, danishes, toast, cereal, etc.). Easy to find and access from I-90. Friendly staff.
Cons: Parking lot was full when we arrived late.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Having been recently renovated, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor, and found the rooms to be quiet. I don't know if that would be true for rooms on the first floor. Breakfast was adequate. Conveniently located, very close to Old Sturbridge Village. Good value for the money.
Cons: Unfortunately, our stay wasn't without a couple of issues. The TV didn't always work throughout our stay... there were times when we would only get a handful of channels. Also, it was difficult to get cold water out of the tap to drink at night (anything but warm would have been fine!). In general, I don't expect perfection in a stay, but I do care about how the staff react to issues as they arise. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the lack of interest in the staff in caring to help resolve issues. Also, be aware, that when I asked if I could have a late check-out (check-out time is 11 am), I was told that I'd have to pay $10 for every additional hour. After spending five nights in the hotel, I found that a bit tacky, especially when most hotels will grant later check-out times.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasantly surprised by the updated room, with pleasant décor. Hot and cold breakfast.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. I was a later arrival, and think it had been sitting in carafe for hours.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was excellent and helpful
Cons: In the room no hot water for sometime and the air conditioner wasn't hook on and it fell apart. The toilet wasn't flushing correctly.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: I was impressed by the renovated rooms. They were clean. the property itself was well kept and nice looking. The breakfast was very good as well, lots of variety.
Cons: No channel guide for the TV. The phone didn't have a dial tone and no instructions on how to call out.

Cons: We heard the tv in the next room all through the night.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Shower was not functioning the first night but was fixed for the second. Parking fee is nickel and diming clients.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The cleaning staff folks were friendly -- as opposed to the front desk folks, who seemed distracted and annoyed and were not knowledgeable about the hotel.
Cons: Tile floor in bedroom was ice cold; temp in the room was freezing, and we found that that was because the air-conditioning was running full-blast when we arrived, even though it was very cold and windy outside; the pool was small; the breakfast and onsite parking were way too expensive; we got no discount, even though I am a Marriott Rewards member, AAA member, and senior citizen. Front desk clerk was talking on the phone the whole time we were checking in, and kept running away to try to get another staffer to open a gate somewhere, which apparently was stuck. She also gave us wrong directions to the elevators (said to "go right" when she meant, "go left!")

Cons: You have to pay $9 extra for parking. Everything felt old and dated: the clock radios were at least 10 years old - they had those cradles for gen 1 iPhones - no USB ports in the room. No free breakfast - $10 for eggs and coffee. Mattress was hard.Meh.

Cons: They should have free coffee in the lobby in the morning! Most hotels do...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: I was booked for 2 queens the room had 1 king and a pullout full which was not very comfortable. The refrigerator didn't work but they took care of that problem promptly.1 of the 2 elevators was down the whole.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was nice, clean and comfortable and the room was big and spacious. The breakfast options were good, but there weren’t any vegetarian options. You must have fruit, but I was glad that there was yogurt available.
Cons: The toilet paper dispenser was about to come off the wall because of the hinderance of the extra toilet paper behind it. Place the extra with the amenities and not behind the paper for use. The curtains were only covering a third of the window, which should be complete black out curtains and not half way covers. The microwave in the breakfast room was too small and unclean.

Pros: Location is perfect easy access around town, free parking, wi-fi, rooms and hotel very clean, staff friendly. Best Hotel for price in Worcester!
Cons: Would be great if they had a bar with late nite bites

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Check-in was fast, easy and welcoming. The room was exactly as described and suited my needs perfectly. Breakfast was simple, self-serve and adequate. There's more choice the earlier you eat. Excellent value in downtown Worcester.
7,5 Good
Pros: The reception desk staff was terrific, free parking (with permits provided) is greatly appreciated as is my request for a room on a high floor for noise management. This hotel wins for location and staff.
Cons: What was not so great was the wastebasket in the bedroom wasn't empty and the bathroom shower and floor didn't appear to have gotten a once over. While the provided breakfast was more like hospital food than hotel food, it was free and my expectations were appropriate there. I don't know if the room rate was high due to graduations or if it's always somewhat pricey. The free breakfast's costs may play a part here.

Cons: Thin blankets. Was traveling a long distance, charged $30 late arrival fee. I was not told that l was supposed to call. The woman didn't tell me when she signed me in. Not nice. Most hotels l use have night staff so this was an unpleasant surprice

6,3 Good
Pros: The location was easily accessible, and close to the attractions.
Cons: I reserved a room for 3 people, a king size bed with pull out couch.linen was not supplied for the couch, I had to go back and ask then make another trip to get a towel. The toilet was clogged and when went to the office they just handed us the plunger. Breakfast was minimal.
6,5 Good
Pros: Everything was average to slightly below average. Nothing even close to exceptional. Location was great.
Cons: Sink was not functional. They fixed it. Water pressure in shower was slightly above a drizzle. I'm not a complainer, but I'm not a rah rah guy either. The roof didn't leak, so I guess that's a plus, but there wasn't anything to write home about either.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Room was a pleasant surprise. Clean and had a good smell.
Cons: Breakfast was a little disappointing, otherwise a great deal.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hotel was seedy! Was charged $100 more per room than was posted on back of bedroom door! Maximum fee per night was $229. Most people staying paid $99. Will not use booking.com again and will tell others not to use either.

Pros: the place was clean
Cons: i choose this place because it had a pool, but when i got there the pool was not available they should of let people know before hand.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Clean and good climate control
Cons: Towels were very thin and no eggs or other protein for breakfast
6,3 Good
Pros: It was quiet, did not hear much action in hallway or other rooms. It was far enough from the highway that you could not hear the traffic. There was free Wi-Fi but had to re-login constantly.
Cons: Pictures online made it look like every room had a microwave and fridge. That was not the case. There were ZERO USB chargers. I had to go buy one from Walmart. When I check in, I was told there are no children allowed on the 3rd floor where I was. That was a lie. There were kids everywhere on the 3rd floor. There was little to choose from on the continental breakfast. The batter for the waffles ran out quickly and was not replaced. The dining area for the breakfast was not cleaned until breakfast was over. When they cleaned my bathroom, they put back a visibly dirty washcloth back on the rack. The chair in the room had a set-in stain.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The proximity to an important event
Cons: 3.3 is Waaaay too high a score! Water in toilet & sink was brown! A small worm was on bathroom floor! GROSS! Plus the manager couldn't locate my reservation, even though I had driven out a month before to make sure...and it was there. My confirmation number did not appear Friday when I went to check in, but the manager did give us a room.

Cons: Ac broken room filthy
