9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room wasn't ready on check-in, but the staff was very apologetic and we didn't have to wait long. This is a great property when traveling with a pet. The pet fee is reasonable and there is a lovely trail around a lake behind the property. I walked at the day's end and felt safe with many others out on the trail. Though we did not use, there is a very nice pool on site that appeared well cared for and clean. There is also a gas grill. the property is conveniently located off Interstate 26, and there's a mall close by. Breakfast was a "10". In addition to the standard offerings, they had smoothies, including greens, and egg white fritattas. Coffee was exceptionally good. The bed was very comfortable and the room was updated and clean. I would definitely stay again.

Pros: It was located right where I was doing my business
Cons: No hot tub
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great lobby, beautiful pool and very clean rooms!
Cons: Promised a rollaway bed that never happened. Manager was very kind and responsive, but bottom line is I had a kid sleep on floor on pack and play mats night before she started college. Not too happy, but the manager was empathetic and did compensate us for problem.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We had one complimentary breakfast and that was the only time we ate there. The food was good.
Cons: We were there for the Miss S.C. pageant and stayed on the 5th floor in Room 516. Unfortunately, they were doing construction very close to our room. With the pageant, we were out very late every night and the contractors started working about 8:00 a.m. every morning. Therefore, there was a lot of knocking and buzzing beside our room. Also the view was a brick wall and roof-top parking. I wasn't really expecting that.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is so friendly and accommodating and you can’t beat the location. A short drive to U of SC and walking distance to many restaurants.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Paying for parking on the parking garage that is attached to the hotel
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Location, if you need to be in downtown Columbia, can't be beat. You can walk to appointments and dinner. I even toured the State House one day. It's also convenient to have the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in the hotel.

Pros: The staff was nice, polite, helpful, & professional. The hotel was very clean. Columbia very nice. Almost everything was in walking distance. I would definitely like to return.
Cons: The bed could have been a little more comfortable. The pillows were too small and flat. Breakfast was not free for the price that was paid.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
9,6 Excellent
Cons: There was a huge bug possibly roach in room first night but after that everything was fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The shower in the bathroom was great and the location was great... Everything is literally right across the street from the hotel.
Cons: The cost for valet parking is not listed... It shows $12 a day but it's actually $25... The $12 is for self parking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is incredibly clean, close to everything and the rooms are nice sized with comfortable beds.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The valet and front desk were wonderful.
Cons: The restaurant was disgusting, and the decor in the rooms are awful.

Cons: Having to pay extra for parking.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Did not know about the parking fee ($15 a day) until I got my receipt in the mail.
6,7 Good
Cons: For $150 a night I expect a complimentary breakfast that is better than one you might receive in a discount motel. Processed scrambled eggs tasteless. Sausage that was inedible. No dry cereal. I had to ask the attendant to fill two of the empty areas -- not paying attention. We stayed two nights and the first morning we left at 10 a.m. When we returned at 4:30 p.m. our room had not been made up. The room service attendant was working in the hall opposite us and when I asked her why, she said there were a lot of checkouts that day, and they were behind. If you have guests staying multiple nights, those rooms should be serviced first, not empty rooms, especially since check-in is unavailable until after 3 p.m.

Pros: location was nice, nice options to sit inside and outside, some of the employees were helpful and friendly
Cons: one girl at the desk did not know places to go and did not try hard to find answers, others were very nice, our bathroom had mold in it, the downstairs bathroom was disgusting-no tp, every toilet was not flushed ever, and not clean at all which was surprising and gross, the staff at the little cafe was always stressed, not friendly, talked to themselves, grumbling about basically having to get us food, this was every time I was in line. It was very off putting. Coming from a Courtyard in Columbia prior to where the cafe staff was so great. This was shocking to me. Like they were doing us a favor each time. And we only ever got coffee and breakfast.

Cons: The bed didn’t seem clean and the sheets were on the top of the comforter which I thought was weird. We always carry our own covers, which we used. We had a very long day and just wanted to rest at ease so I did not complain to the front desk especially since we were leaving the next morning.

Right in the heart of downtown Columbia on the scenic campus of the University of South Carolina, Graduate Columbia blends historic grandeur with pops of prep for a stay that feels like home. Our South Carolina retreat boasts local charm, with Gamecock-inspired headboards and echoes of “Oot Oot.” Plaids, chevron and touches of grass cloth come together in guestrooms. In the lobby, bright colors and cheery florals pop against dark wood paneling. Take in the bookish surroundings at our lobby-level café, Poindexter Coffee, and fuel your muse with a caffeinated beverage or two.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The style and comfort
Cons: Gym was closed, no breakfast and our room was very far from entrance
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I arrived at 1 in the morning and the guy working the desk was very friendly. The next day I had called an Uber to take me to my friend's tailgate spot and the turnaround time was going to take a while. While I was waiting, the hotel van returned and was taking a family to the stadium and I asked the driver if he could take me. It all worked out as I was able to get to meet up with friends in a shorter amount of time. The hotel was decorated very eclectic in theme with the gamecock decor. The shower seemed to have been remodeled as it appeared as new. Spa type dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Student IDs were used as room key cards.
Cons: The carts to carriage luggage did not operate very well. Very difficult to navigate on the thick carpet, especially when I had to go a long way down the hall to get to my room from the elevator. It didn't even push straight when empty.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds. Great location.
Cons: No tub or jacuzzi. Shower head was not removable. No balcony. Ridiculous prices for drinks/food downstairs. Surprise $10 charge for parking
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed and bed linens… Newly decorated and full of surprises! Keurig coffee makers in rooms.
Cons: When we reserved, this hotel was called the Carolina Inn and offered a complementary breakfast. When we arrived it was under new management and there is no complementary breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was relaxing. The grounds had good accommodations with the pool, basketball court, as well as the picnick/grilling area. I like the fact that the property provides charcoal. The location was perfect for my family's needs.
Cons: Most of the staff was frendly, welcoming, and courteous with the exception of front desk manager when I checked into my first room on Wednesday July, 10th at 1PM. She was a bit rude and didn't try to accommodate us even though she had previously informed my wife we would be able to check in at 1pm. My family and I had 3 rooms reserved because we were in Columbia for my son's basic training graduation and family day at Fort Jackson. My mother unfortunately had a shingles breakout while on the road and really needed to rest. The lady at the front desk did not try to find and open room or a room that was already ready for my mother and father to check in. I had to make this suggestion to her before she found a room. He suggestion prior was that we just wait in the breakfast lounge for 2 hours until the room she was putting them in was ready.

Pros: I stay here all the time and every time I do it has been nothing but the best. I enjoy my stay. Always friendly employees, clean rooms, fresh towels and bedding and always willing to answer any questions. Checking in 4 hrs early was a smooth transition.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike

Pros: The place was clean and convenient to the highway.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking variety, and the pastries were dry and stale tasting. The coffee was bitter and was way too strong ... like it had been boiled the old fashioned way for an hour. My room, on the 4th floor, overlooked the main entrance. They played music all night long. It was so loud it woke me up at around 12:30 a.m.. When I called the front desk, the not so friendly lady said that she was not allowed to turn it off or turn it down. When I got a bit upset with her, she finally said she'd see if it could be adjusted. It took about an hour, and it was turned down, but I could, from within my room, still clearly hear it.
