Pros: The location and the friendliness of the staff
Cons: The food is very bad
4,6 Okay
Pros: BREAKFAST WAS GREAT, I DIDN'T LIKE AGUACHILE THE SHRIMP HAS A DIFFERENT FLAVOR, BUT THE FOOD WAS OK.
Cons: BECAUSE THERE WASN'T CHANNELS IN ENGLISH AND FOR EXAMPLE I CAN SPEAK SPANISH BUT MY BOYFRIENDS ISNT, SO I SPOKE WITH CONCIERGE ASKING ABOUT IF WE CAN RENT SOME MOVIES WITH SUBTITLES AND HE SAID NO, THERE'S NOTHING IN ENGHISH, I CHOSE FIESTA AMERICANA BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU CAN OFFER THAT.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Didn’t have a lot of time to look at the property.
Cons: After driving all day, we were looking forward to just enjoy the afternoon at the hotel. Didn’t get a chance to just relax and enjoy my stay. Balcony was filthy full of Pigeon poop, feathers and droppings from other birds. Smelly and unappealing to seat in a balcony with all that going on. Unacceptable..It’s not as if they were in high season. Had plenty of other rooms or options but weren’t able to take care of us. That hotel has seen better days. A/C very loud and noisy. Wish I had known, would have stayed somewhere else. To their credit, our receptionist was very nice but unable to offer us a better room. We ended up staying in an isolated part of the hotel’s wing. Never again, their loss.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The service and personal attention to the guest
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the bay as the sea is only 60 - 80 cm deep

Pros: Location, outdoor restaurant and bar. It felt very safe and secure.
Cons: The bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The side of the tin overflowed while I showered.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: very clean and the restaurant and night club were excellent
Cons: television needs to be up-dated and the programs need to be shown on a separate paer
7,1 Good
Cons: The WC was not working and they tried to fix it but it kept wasting water. They force you to buy water bottles and pollute by not having drinking water available for guests.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, view and very relaxing
Cons: The food was not so fresh and tasty.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Fabulous hotel. Valet parking.
Cons: Towels a little substandard. A very minor issue .
8,8 Excellent
Pros: My family and I have been visiting Veracruz since I was little, over forty years ago. One of the things I love the most is being next to Zocalo and the Portales, where all the flavour of the city lies (live music, Danzon). The location of Diligencias is perfect for that.
Cons: The bed linen was a bit of worn out. The terrace could be a very nice space but it isn't really taken advantage of, shades for the tables and bar service would make a huge difference.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location. It's in the heart of everything! What ever is not walking distance is only a taxi ride away; and getting a taxi is no trouble at all.

4,5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We were in town 2 nights for a Funeral. We left early the second day to go the burial and came back at 1pm. Our rooms weren't clean and asked the front desk to please clean them while we were going downstairs to lunch and we were assure of it. Came back 2 hours later and the rooms were still messy. It took them another hour to finally clean them (by 4pm). Then someone they tried to blame it on us because we were in the rooms which was obviously a LIE. Anyway, very disappointed by their service and lack of accountability. I would NOT recommend this Hotel.
7,7 Good
Pros: Sanbonrns restaurant in Hotel
Cons: Weak WiFi
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel close to shopping, port and museums. Bellman always available to help and get us what we needed. Pool area clean and comfortable. Water warm and refreshing sun invigorating!
Cons: Our room window looked out to trash and top of buildings would of preferred no window with a landscape picture.
6,7 Good
Pros: Didn't eat breakfast there.
Cons: The head front end manager was the most unprofessional manager i have ever ran across. First she made a small situation into a big deal. Stain sheets she yelled at me in public and charged me 500 peisos to have them cleaned. A friend stayed that night got sick diarrhea. He looks gay she had a problem with that.

Pros: Location is excellent, two blocks from our favorite restaurant, within walking distance from shopping district, and right in front of the main square, where most nights there's live music and other spectacles. The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean, even if the rooms are not on par with five star hotels, they were comfortable. The air conditionig equipment, especially, was whisper quiet (i had to put my ear next to the grill to make sure it was working),Location is excellent, two blocks from our favorite restaurant, within walking distance from shopping district, and right in front of the main square, where most nights there's live music and other spectacles. Cons: .the first night we checked in Very late, at around 22:30, and were given a "Siberia" room, I guess the only ones available at the time. Room 303 is right next to the water cooling towers, and we spent the night with a horrible fan engine noise. We were so tired we were asleep in no time, but my wife had a hard time sleeping, beng the most sensitive of the group. We asked to be moved in the morning and the reception lady was very apologetic and told us the hotel was full, but she would definitey have a room after check out time. She was good on her word and moved us to aother room, facing the street and high enough that the noise was non-existent. The other thing we found lcking was the internet service. The first night our devices didn't detect any signal at all, so we thought there was no internet access. When i mentioned it the next morning, the front desk lady told us that indeed they had wireless Internet and gave me the password. On the new room we could find the wireless signal and connected right away. Alas, the service turned out to be very slow, almost unusable.

7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent location on the Malecón but close enough to walk to the zócalo without hearing any bustling traffic noise. Helpful staff. Large room with typical hotel furnishings. Excellent WiFi. Cable tv with English and Spanish channels. Separate vanity area from the bathroom.
Cons: The towels were stained and could be replaced.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fiesta Inn is a great location. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and happening upon a concert in the nearby zocolo.
Cons: We were surprised that a one night stay hold was put on our credit card since it was before the cancellation fee time. It was explained that the hotel was at 100% occupancy so the hotel just wanted to be assured of the reservation. We were not confident that our credit card number was not used inappropriately since Booking.com was not aware of it. In the end it was all fine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient. Right in the city's historical square.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, clean, modern.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, with views of the sea from the best rooms, and within easy (and safe) walking distance of the historic centre, but it's also quieter here than being on the main square. The rooms are of a good size and generally clean and well kept. There is a small but nice rooftop pool and a gym on site, and secure underground parking. We have stayed here before and despite the noisy a/c we would stay here again.
Cons: The air conditioning units are of the noisy fan type, right under the window. There was very heavy rain during our stay which leaked into one of our rooms through the a/c unit under the window and onto the floor. Staff helped clean up the mess pretty quickly but it was unfortunate. Breakfast isn't included, however the legendary La Parroquia café is very nearby which is a great place.
6,3 Good
Pros: The view was amazing, as you can see from the hotel room the ocean and harbour. I definitely recommend to book a room with ocean view. The room service was very kind.
Cons: We paid 500 Euros for 3 nights and 2 rooms without breakfast. For this price we would expect a little fridge and that the bathtub is bigger and without chalk, which made the water tub difficult to open for the shower function. The phones in both rooms were not working. They tried to repare them but the next day they did not work again so we were first not able to call the room service. By checking out and looking under the beds to check if something was fallen down, I discovered under the beds dust of minimum 2 weeks which reveals that the hotel room was only superficially cleaned.
6,3 Good
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the location.
Cons: We tried to call room service 5 times with no success. The duvet cover was broken and the inner of the duvet was dirty with stains. The coffee in the room has no taste.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so nice and kind.

5,4 Okay
Pros: The only thing that I liked about the hotel is the location. The location is convenient.
Cons: The staff behind the desk can be a little more friendly and outgoing. I felt I was under the care of nurse Ratched. Didn't like that they could not exchange my money from dollars to pesos. I didn't like to see that the next day I noticed a customer change their currency. Every time I asked they said that they couldn't. I felt unwelcome.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is really good quality for money. Cheap, in the city center, clean. Provides towels and shampoo. Has a parking for free. Beds were big and comfortable and as two women travelling alone we felt very safe. Room has tv and airconditionning and was really big.
Cons: A bit old and rusty. Poor aound isolation.
6,7 Good
Cons: No hot water just warm, everything else just regular, excellent location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Its a nice clean space. The staff were kind and helped with our need. The room were clean and had a nice setting. I would defenetly recommend it and will be stay there in a futuro.
7,1 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and the gym and pool was good.
Cons: Staff is not doing anything to help you. We arrived at the hotel 07:00 after taking a nightbus for 8 hours. When we arrive the man in the reception says we dont have a booking, after showing our confirmation he finally lets us put our bags in the luggage room. When we asked for the wifi password to find somewhere we could have breakfast he said we can have the wifi password at 15:00 when we check in. We did not feel welcome at all! Every other time we asked the people in the reception for help we got short answers and it seemed like no one wanted to help us. Even the people in the hotel restaurant were rude!
6,3 Good
Cons: Good hotel, at nights streets dark in the area...
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel building itself -- the interior, that is -- was quite beautiful. The rooms were adequate. I also loved being able to walk to the Malecon and the Zócalo.
Cons: I did think that the hotel should have offered the small bottle of water for free, rather than charging you if you used it. If the city's water system was totally safe, then I wouldn't mind, but as a foreign tourist not used to the water, it was not wise to drink it. I also thought they might have included a hairdryer -- or at least had a sign saying "If you want a hair-dryer, come down to the desk and sign one out." I really don't know if I am being fair because I don't really know how much to expect of a budget hotel.
7,5 Good
Pros: From the window you can see the baluarte.
Cons: The air conditioner does not work well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly. Very professional. Good value. On site secure parking was a bonus.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Price and location

Pros: everything was great: the hotel is located in an old refurbished Franciscan monastery and is close to everything in the centro historico; it has very helpful staff
Cons: everything was great

Pros: Location to the Zocalo was excellent (save the very dangerous crossing before the government building where buses came around the corner at breakneck speed without a turn signal). The square offered many restaurants and musical groups. The staff of the hotel were great. The tours offered in the lobby were great.
Cons: No fridge in the room! A must in Mexico. Just a little one, nothing fancy would have been nice.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful. Place was clean. Plenty of hot water. Good breakfast.
Cons: Overall the hotel was nice. It would have been better if a bottle of water was provided for each guest, there was only one small bottle for three guests.

Pros: We did really enjoyed the pool and the location of the hotel, very central and close to te beach. Unfortunately we did not use the restaurant, but the fact that was open 24 hours is actually great!
Cons: The size of the room was absolutely perfect, however the fact that our "window" was looking at the wall and did not have the chance to have natural light neither to have a look outside was actually not great.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: The pictures are lies. The room they gave us for $900 was nothing like described or pictured. Pool is big enough for three overweight children and no one more. Very disappointed
Cons: Put the real pictures of what the rooms look like. Stop robbing people.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, and Therese hotell itselves.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location The manager and female receptionists were very nice. I he older gentleman is also very nice and helpful. Great guy. They help my bags and even some food I bought for my bus ride back to Mexico City. They have helpful recommendations as to where to go eat and sightseeing. This older gentleman knew a lot about how to get to everything. Locked my passport, cell phone and money while I went to Isla de Enmedio in the office.
Cons: My room wasn’t as clean as I expected The sheets were stained. The other bed (which I didn’t use) even had a black shoe print on the sheets. The towels that were once white looked very old and beige. There was hair in the sink drain when I arrived. There was hair on the sink floor and shower. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower curtain had black mold...something that can be taken care of by cleaning it or soaking in bleach and water. I’ve been to humid places before and hotels turn on ac and open doors to air out the room. It smelled like it hadn’t been aired out. Upon picking up my luggage to go to the bus station, I only had a $500 bill. I needed $40 for taxi. There was a younger male receptionist who didn’t even bother to help me to figure out how to get change. I told him that was going to miss my bus. He didn’t even bother to guide me or tell me where I could go. He said he only had $500’s, which I don’t believe was the case. This is a after getting a LAZY taxi driver from the aquarium who would even bother to help me either despite me telling him I needed to also go to the terminal. The young male receptionist just said what is heard when people don’t what to help: “No, no tengo.” He looked away and stayed silent and picked up his cell phone. I had to demand that he tell me where to go to get change. I can’t believe that after paying for 2 nights, this is what happened. I was so distress after not being able to get change anywhere. He could have gone out to one of the partner restaurants ( the ones the hotel tells us to go to) and gotten change....but he did NOTHING. I told my story to the next taxi driver (who helped me calm down) and he and I had a conversation about how this country is the way it is because of people like this. There are people who don’t want to help anyone during times of need. Luckily the 2nd taxi driver and the bus terminal personnel are very nice.

Pros: Walking distance from Downtown
Cons: I understand you want to protect the mattress but the cover had plastic in one side that we had to remove it in order to be able to sleep, we were sweating so much !! We had a partial side view of the ocean. If the cleaning staff turns on the air condition, BE SURE to close the window in order to save energy. They put it on with the window open !!!
