8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great and offers a very beautiful view with lots of green! The room was lovely as well. We went there from Monday until Wednesday (less busy days in the week) and thus the hotel was practically empty, we had the pool for ourselves. The facilities at the hotel are great! In general good value for money. If I had to mention a minus point I would say the prices of the restaurant are a tiny bit too expensive for the type of food you get. Also beware the spa is closed on Tuesdays. Location was also good for us as with car/taxi you can reach Valle de Bravo (the town and the lake) within 20 minutes. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel! :)
Cons: I would say the prices of the restaurant are a tiny bit too expensive for the type of food you get. One day we were woken up by someone cutting the grass around 7am just below our bedroom, this was a bit unfortunate.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great golf course, very clean rooms, nice pool, excellent food.
Cons: They don’t have a game room for rainy days, some rooms are far away and need to use a lot stairs.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, location excellent, parking lot too small!!!!!!
Cons: the parking lot
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated that they quickly sent someone to fix the gas fireplace and then brought us an electric heater when we said we were nervous about the gas. All the staff in the restaurant and at reception were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was coffee in the room but I would have appreciated tea also.
7,9 Good
Pros: Views were amazing, and all the property is really beautiful, decoration in the rooms is rustic with design details and beds were really comfortable
Cons: We stayed in the Junior Suite 191 and we could hear absolutely everything from the other rooms, it was specially annoying at 3am when we were trying to sleep. Noise isolation is practically none in this suite
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A closed complex - Very safe for kids
Cons: Some furniture in the room was broken
7,1 Good
Pros: The food was very good
Cons: That 2 days by 2:30 pm my room hadn’t been cleaned
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. The room was great and so was the food and amenities that we used
Cons: In general we had a really good experience.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Lots of selections on buffet. Fresh sliced fruit a plus. Made to order omelets, waffles and Mexican dishes like chilaquiles. Spacious room. Beautiful courtyard with lots of plants. Jacuzzi on roof, very private. Massages on site.
Cons: Very little space for hanging clothes in room. Room right next to street, a bit noisy

Cons: A bit slow when ir comes to room service.
7,9 Good
Pros: The installations
Cons: The parking space and the access route
4,2 Okay
Pros: The area, Valle de Bravo, is worth a visit.
Cons: The hotel is very, very old. Especially the pool. The pictures on the website must be at least 20 years old. They have 2 old jacuzzis near the pool, but they are always without water. If you ask to make them ready, it takes an hour! Also, the restaurant is old & needs an urgent update. Staff doesn’t speak English.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s been a home for years. It’s always a pleasure to return!!!!
7,5 Good
Pros: The facilities, cascade and rooms
Cons: The noise from the cascade
8,3 Excellent
Pros: After paying an additional fee we were able to change our original room (air conditioner and better room grade (suite)
Cons: We booked in June and in the hotel general description mentioned that air conditioner was available, however, some of the rooms did not have it and was uncomfortable due to the hot weather during this season.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: Sorry but the room maid never replaced the towels to the original number and they were reduced each day, I would not want anyone to think that they left with me. The coffee sachets were not always replaced
6,3 Good
Pros: It’s right in front of a waterfall which is very nice! Comfortable beds and linens. Everything clean. Congratulations to José Guadalupe (a guy that works the night shift at the front desk) he was very helpful.
Cons: The ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all. And the service at the restaurant was just terrible. It was empty and took them for hours to take the order and the same to bring the food.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location, the people are very kind.
Cons: For the price what you pay, you can expect more. The quality of the food is terrible for the price you pay. Even the pool looks nice, but is very old and not very clean.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Honestly this hotel doesn’t deserve the rating it has on booking.com. My husband, my 6 month old baby and I stayed at this hotel and it was one of the worst experiences in Valle de Bravo. The first thing we noticed is there is no disabled access, which was inconvenient for us since we could not take our stroller up and down the stairs each time. Secondly, the wooden stairs that you need to use to go from the lower floor up seem very unstable and outdated. The first room we got assigned was a master suite double on the ground floor. The room was incredibly dark, super low ceilings, outdated TV, dirty sofas and just in general the room had a mucky vibe. In addition the rooms are not equipped with AC, and because of the in suite pool it gets quite humid and therefore feels warmer. This room in particular has a little garden which is kept in very bad shape (most of the grass is yellowish), even found an oxidised screw, which made me feel very unsafe for my baby as he was playing in that little area. We got moved to a second room because my husband and I had originally asked for a king sized bed. The second room was the same as the first, again the sofas were outdated and dirty and gave grimy vibes, the only thing that changed was the bed. As we were preparing to go to sleep, we noticed this weird constant buzzing noise coming from under the bed, which we guessed was some sort of generator for the pool, but clearly VERY annoying if all you want is a decent night of sleep at what they call “a luxurious suite”. To top it all off, at 10pm (when our son was already sleeping), these fireworks went off right in front of our window, scaring us and waking up my 6 month old. Mind you, they had not mentioned ANYTHING about this when we booked the hotel and when we checked in. Therefore instead of making it a peaceful and relaxing experience, it was just uncomfortable and tense stay, so much so we ended up finding an other accommodation that same night.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The view, spectacular! It is outstanding ....:the possibility to do archery and other very cool activities. The bed, although very high for me, has a very good mattress.
Cons: The room is terrible! There are mosquitos and scorpions , in the room. The windows dont close completely!! The bathroom is all made of rocks and painted black!!! No light at all and no goood mirror. It is open and has no proper doors, the pseudo doors dont close easily. The shower is black! The graphic design on the bathroom products is so bad that you cant distinguish the different products. You have to walk up a long staircase that has not been planned efficiently, the steps are out of sync , so to speak. No air conditioning!! 30 degrees celsius!! Asked for a ventilator, never arrived. If you leave the window open some air comes in , but with the air a thousand mosquitoes.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the location and the architecture of the resort is great. Staff is very friendly und take attention
Cons: nothing
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Room temperature was extremely hot due to the indoor jacuzzi. A tower fan was provided but wasn't good enough. It felt really hot and extremely humid.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool inside the room, nice staff, nice view
Cons: Be careful with the bedroom just below the road, very noisy. We change after one night and it was perfect
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The in-Room pool is good. The view is amazing. The SPA service was amazing. Honestly, the view is worth the money.
Cons: The restaurant service took too long even just to get some salt to the table took many requests. Room service was the worst, on the first night we ordered a bottle of wine and some French fries and it took two hours to get to the room. Considering we were charged ($1,900 MXN) around $100 USD for it, the long wait wasn’t welcomed. The second day we ordered some ice and a couple of glasses and again, it took about one hour to get to the room. We weren’t happy with the food and beverage service overall. Considering the hotel is a good 15-20 minutes car ride from the nearest store you would think they would offer a better service.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Children are allowed and there is not enough silence
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location and the view
Cons: The room: • Bad ventilation, they even had to bring in a ventilator in the middle of the night. • Full of mosquitoes. • There was a big pool inside the room and which appeared to be a hot tub, but the water was cold. I even think the water contributed to the humidity inside the room. • WC was not working well. • WiFi wasn’t working well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the relax enviroment... the spa

Cons: The hotel was 15-20 miutes away from Avandaro’s centre and you had to drive in the smallest highway with no light at all. Pretty scary. The noice in my room was terrible! I could here all the conversations from outside specially the staff’s and had to asked tomkeep it down because I wanted tontake a nap. I could hear footsteps and everything they did in the room above. The curtains were not blackout and the light on the hallway enter the room at night. The room was very spacious but outdated. They wouldnt change rooms, I asked both of the nights I stayed. I went for a yoga festival in Valle the Bravo and to rest, one night the people staying there came back from a wedding at 2:00 am and did so much noice, I was almost scared. The food was really poor too. It is by far the worst place I ever stayed in the past years. And the price wasn’t cheap for a place in Valle the Bravo. I’m very dissapointed. And I’ll be writing reviews all over, I don’t want anybody else to be scamed like me.

Pros: Location View
Cons: There were termites on te roof and all the residues fell onmy head at night When we got to our room it smelled terrible and it turned out that the bathroom was unbelievably dirty. It didn’t even had water running in the WC so the dirt was dry and awfully smelly. The remote control didn’t work, and when I called the general manager for assistance he apologized and offered us an american breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Not pleased at all
