Guests appreciated the hotel's excellent location near Lake Toya and its traditional ryokan charm. Many found the onsen and amenities to be a highlight, and some reviewers mentioned friendly and helpful staff. However, several guests were disappointed by the old and worn-out facilities, inconsistent service quality, and issues with cleanliness and value for price. Some rooms were described as spacious and comfortable, while others noted problems such as thin walls, lack of heating, and maintenance issues.

Poor
Jiajun, Jul 2019
Pros (+) The bath was good.
Cons (-) Service was horrible. The manager was extremely rude and impatient. His grandson (I suppose) was nice though. Men’s room was so small it was difficult to use. There were no curtain in the room so we got woken up at 4am.
