8,3 Excellent
Pros: The personnel were fantastic, and most helpful, especially Mademoiselle Faustine who helped us a lot with bus and boat timetables and gave us lots of information. We were also allowed to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout, so that we were able to enjoy our last afternoon on the island. Breakfast was plentiful - we had it in the terraced garden, which made it very enjoyable. There is also a spacious, tastefully decorated sitting room near the reception, full of light, with comfy sofas, coffee tables, and a honesty bar, Les Medes also has a launderette for the guests, who can also benefit from a discount from a bike rental place close by.
Cons: We had a room with a fully equipped kitchen area, which was very clean. We only used the fridge since we ate out. However, the room was rather dark and gloomy - surely it may be improved by giving it lighter colours, and by making the bedding more comfortable.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location Nice new bathroom Clean room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We loved how close this hotel was to the port and the restaurants in town. It has a relaxing water feature in the back that we sat by. They also have an "honesty bar" that allows you to have a glass of wine (or more) without the traditional bartender. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions.
Cons: We would have liked for there to be a well-marked entrance to the backyard relaxation/water area. The first night we could see it from our room but we couldn't figure out how to get to it. The next day we asked and the front desk said we had to use the gate a short walk to the right of the property and walk around. Better signage or another entrance from the lobby would be great. (You can get there from the breakfast area but only during breakfast). We didn't get the optional breakfast since it was much more expensive than grabbing freshly baked items from the boulangerie in town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the residence and its position very close to the bikes rentals and the village. The staff was always present and kind. They gave us instructions and water for the day.

Pros: The gentleman at the front desk was very warm and welcoming! We emailed him prior to arriving to inquire about checking in early, and he replied promptly letting us know he would do his best to accommodate. We arrived hours early and were checked in! He was extremely helpful- he gave recommendations for restaurants nearby and kept great conversation! (Bonus for us: he spoke English)
Cons: I forgot to mention this to the owner, but the toilet flush button was cracked. It still flushed but you had to press harder.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Very low value for money. I am writing this review from a 4 stars hotel in Menorca. My large room with amazing sea view and great breakfast is cheaper here than the very basic room with no view I got in Hyeres!!!

Pros: Close to the beach , friendly and a great spot to watch the yacht racing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice beach and the hotel was just in front of the beach. Nice staff.
Cons: No AC. A fan.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice. The location was close to the beach.
Cons: We needed some aircondition, the fan was not enough, the room was very hot. The room needed to be cleaned better. The doors and the cabinet needed to be washed, it was sticky to touch it. We did not have much space to put our luggage.

Lido Beach - Hyères - Building
6
8,7 Excellent (247 reviews)
R1 721+
Overview Reviews
This comfortable hotel is located in Hyeres. There are a total of 18 accommodation units at Lido Beach. No pets are allowed on the premises.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A very informal and relaxing place to stay right on the beach. Great balcony, wonderful restaurant. Free parking just outside the hotel. Shabby chic in the best sense of the word. Could have stayed there for weeks.
Cons: Nothing really.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, lovely atmosphere and very kind people working there. The hotel is located directly on the beach. Nice swimming just 3 feet from the hotel. I did even come back during my trip along the coast and it was the only hotel in 10 days where I spent more than one night. Will come back.
Cons: No air-condition, due to ecological reasons. Just a ventilator that worked fine in September, but I could not stay in this small room in July or August. Maybe it works in larger rooms.
7,9 Good
Pros: Laid back (a bit bohemian in character) hotel right on the beach. Comfortable to go from beach to beach chair area to restaurant and through lobby and common area to rooms in swim suits. Yet still had an elegance. Restaurant was good with tables right on the beach as well and were able to accommodate our late arrival. Plenty of beach chairs, wide shallow beach perfect for all water activities and for children. Stand up paddle boards available. It was hot during our stay, but with the fans operating all day with windows open and curtains drawn closed, rooms were manageable for sleeping, but definitely on warm side. Easy walking distance to harbor area with many restaurants and cafes.
Cons: Could use more umbrellas for the beach chairs to go around. One in our group had the room with external private bathroom. Because of the need to lock room and bathroom, coming and going , that was a bit inconvenient. But, overall, this room and the other standard rooms were a good bargain for being right on the beach. Internet also not working well here. This was a common complaint for the small boutique hotels we chose throughout our trip to France.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The bohemian style. The location to the sea and Porquerolles. The homely feel of being in someone’s beach house. The relaxed vibe and atmosphere. The view; you’re right on the water edge. The food was exceptional.
Cons: It was expensive for a 2 star hotel. Is a bit far away from other amenities.
7,9 Good
Pros: Staff very welcoming and helped us throughout. Food was good.
Cons: Really difficult to park ones car. The hotel says it has 12 parking spaces but, sorry to say, that is not the case! Had to park about 500 m away and wait for a space to become available which it did. It was the weekend in June and during the week things should be quieter.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The closeness to the sea, an idyllic location
Cons: Nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size . The actual place down stairs is dated and needs lots of repair , The kitchen area looked dirty and unkept and to be honest we declined breakfast because we wanted to go somewhere clean . The view from the room standing up was lovely but once you sat in the chair on the terrace all you saw was the roof and dead plants so it was a bit sad . It’s badically a room in someone’s house with very confused lines of what is space for the guests and the owners The lady who met us was fine and friendly
Cons: The.mess down stairs
7,9 Good
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and accommodating! The property was on the water. View was spectacular!
Cons: The stairs going to the apartment very very steep. The hosts helped carry our bags but would be very easy to fall.

Cons: Whole place under renovation. Rooms not clean. Breakfast was not included as mentioned.

Pros: The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful. The Hotel is just a short walk to the port so the location is great if you need a bed for the night before getting on or off a ferry.

Pros: What a great and stylish stay at your hotel. Thank you very much! Would like to come back soon!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasunt hotel with a perfect location in Toulon. Just next to the Neptun conference center and the big mall.
Cons: The dinner (half board) was not so good as for the payment of the half board you only get a small selection of dishes as for the same price you could have select from the entire menu which has better dishes.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect as well. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby to meet all your needs. I did not indulge in the free breakfast, so I cannot comment on that but it looked excellent.
Cons: My only complaint is that the shower would get cold for a moment during my showers. This happened every time. Other than that, no complaints and very happy with my stay

Pros: Food in restaurant

Cons: Nothing all was great.
5,8 Okay
Pros: quite a comfortable bed. simple breakfast, though it could be better for this price.
Cons: the room is too small and noisy if the window is open; no electric kettle in the room, very dark bathroom. The hotel features a bar with panoramic terrace, 1 m eeting room, 1 SPA with hot tub and sauna in a relaxing ambiance. There is a free public car park just 55 yards (50 m) from the hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the room a lot: clean, with all the necessary comforts (including air conditioning) and a good bed. Breakfast was OK and could be taken either inside or on the beautiful terrace. I also liked a lot the fact that on the top floor there were little viennoiseries, mineral water, tea and coffee available also late at night.
Cons: I thought the hotel was understaffed. On the Saturday evening I was there there was only one female member of staff, who had to go from reception to the third floor breakfast/restaurant room all the time, even to get bread. My daughter had a sore throat and asked for some ice, which could be given in 30 seconds, but the lady went on preparing food for a couple who were the only other guests in the breakfast/restaurant room, taking over 20 minutes to give us the ice. We would have also liked some food, but we decided it would take too long. Also, we needed to use the computer on the ground floor to find news on the railway strikes, but we couldn't make it start and the female member of staff was unable to make it work either.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent breakfast, particularly for France, Fresh Orange juice
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and smelled fresh. The design of the hotel is cute and young. There’s plenty of free parking right across the street (belongs to the train station but you can park for free on all parking spots with white line markings).
Cons: The breakfast was rather poor, but ok.
7,9 Good
Pros: The Ibis Style Hyeres Gare hotel was an excellent base for our stay in Hyeres. The hotel is across the road from the station. The room was very comfortable with a separate toilet and bathroom. The breakfast area on the 3rd floor was very pleasant with a good choice of fresh fruit breads and croissants. We also used the spa with sauna and jacuzzi and we were really impressed with the facilities. The hotel is located around 20 mins walk to the centre of the town.I feel there is a need for more attention to customer service as some staff displayed a slightly indifferent attitude to guests and in some ways this meant that the hotel lacked atmosphere because there was a very limited staff cover in the different areas of the hotel.Overall though,we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if visiting Hyeres.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Close to rail station and buses to departure ports for the Hyeres islands
Cons: Rather small room The hotel is a good walk from the centre of Hyeres - buses are infrequent.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent for travelling by plane.
Cons: The price was too high for what you get.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of the town with a 20 min walk from the old quartal. Rooms are designed in modern style. At breakfast, it is provided a good choice and you may exit to a big terrace on the building roof. The staff is friendly and responsive.
Cons: Hyeres is the town where it is better to rent a car or moto for moving around.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Second time at this lovely hotel and still impressed by the helpful, friendly approach of staff, the practical rooms, and use of the roof space for drinks. If you are travelling in Hyeres area it is a great option : )

Cons: - No fridge in the room - Bed was a little small, but we are tall/big Kiwis, so if you’re “normal” size, then no problem. - We felt it was a bit expensive for what it was, but this is France and everything is/seems way overpriced... and we thought New Zealand is expensive!

Cons: They do not have a full kitchen so there are only simple food choices at lunch and dinner times.

Cons: Old room, not to get any snacks in the evening. They also gave us different room than we reserved - triple instead of twin, with three beds and old fashioned non-accessible bathroom instead of shower (shiwerwas on the picture and that was the reason I reserved it). . Did not agree to change. Extremely noisy, very difficult to sleep.

Pros: Very comfortable bed I was upgraded to a sea view room which was lovely.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and clean hotel with a great ambience.
Cons: Parking could be an issue due to limited spaces and reliant on street parking.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was much better than expected, very spacious, and nice view. We had everything we needed there. Hotel decor is nice, and the room had extra daybed (we didn't use). Hotel amenity is NUXE.
Cons: When we came back to the room around 4am (from a wedding) the water temperature was very low, and couldn't take a shower. We didn't check the temperature later. There's no free parking in the hotel (but you can park 2min away free on the street).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: wasn’t told there was two breakfast options. So I went out to find a cafe for a croissant and a cup coffee 18 € seemed a steep price for that. But later when I asked i was told that I could have had the express for 7€.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the location. Staff was great.
Cons: parking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located by the sea, with wonderful views from the balcony. Breakfast is excellent, with a really good choice of fruit, cereals, freshly baked bread and pastries, fresh juice served every day, also eggs, bacon and sausages. The staff in this hotel are very helpful and friendly. We had a very comfy bed. with lovely fresh fluffy towels provided each day. The room was spacious, with a mini bar and facilities for ironing. There are lovely beaches almost opposite the hotel, and a few small restaurants can be found within walking distance of the hotel. There is an excellent bus service just around the corner, with buses going into town every few minutes.
Cons: The internet was really slow, and not high speed at all. Although the hotel is situated by the ocean, it is located on a very busy roundabout, so it's noisy for most of the day, especially early in the morning. We requested a room with a bath, but the bath was so tiny that you could not stretch out and relax in it, as there were two armrests moulded into the side of the bath. You have to be a very small person to get in the bath! The pavements surrounding the hotel in this area are extremely dirty, and have not been cleaned for a very long time.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Comfortable rooms friendly staff. All in all great hotel!
Cons: The breakfast is over priced for what it actually is but not all that bad (cheese, eggs, fruits, etc.) The location is great and so is the view from the breakfast lounge but we didn't find the breakfast buffet to be on par with the price and what can be found at other hotels with similar pricing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but the beds were comfortable. The staff were so helpful especially as I was travelling with a disabled person.
Cons: The disabled room (r7) was very small and the toilet was also small. It would have been helpful to have a low access bath/ walk in shower.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice staff and we get towels for The beach
Cons: We have a room with view at The parking place behind you look at a real poor and broken building it is not nice so you must take The sea view

Pros: The friendly owners look after their guests very well. They provide a communal fridge and sell bottled water and soft drinks at reasonable prices for their guests convenience. The breakfast courtyard is charming and the rooms with terrace very pleasant.

Pros: Lovely quiet garden, ‘honesty’ bar set up for drinks which was welcome, fans in room. The hotel isn’t super modern in its decoration but it had a great deal of original French charm which we loved. The owners were very friendly and helpful, Excellent location for visiting Villa de Noailles the main purpose of our trip.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The garden was a sweet and nice place to sit and relax in the evening. The woman that fixed breakfast and checked me out seemed very nice.
Cons: I opted for Hyeres to spend a couple of hours by the sea, curious about the Hyere beaches. I should have researched the hotel and area more, and was chocked to find that Hotel Oreangiers was far from the sea. No buses going to the sea-side part in the evening and no bike rentals. I asked around ... So, the stay was a huge disappointment to me and I regret that I chose Hyeres at all. This hotel is best for people with car or bikers or people that enjoy walking around in old-town kind of alleys. I felt stuck and it seemed like everthing was closing atound 19. This is not hotel Orangier's fault, but maybe good to know for other solo Interrailers, like me. It was a good 20 minutes walk each way from the train station and nothing to do around the station. The toilets at the station were also cliosed. My room had a barred window facing a dirty backyard with dog poop and two big dogs that barked and jumped every time I touched the window. They were perhaps just curios and wanted to play but it was quite disturbing. Bed and bathroom was ok and clean, but it did not feel cared for, as in other places with the same price range. Breakfast was nice to have in the patio, it was ordinary, but with plenty of bread and butter, bakeoff criossants, ordinary juice, packed yoghurt a good size can of hot, nice coffee with milk and a delicious orange marmalade that tasted as if it was home made. I got a couple of large mosqito bites as a souvenir, I kept the window open. The room was very hot and had no air condition . There was a fan.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was really nice. Location was ok just a tiny bit far from the center or the beach. Very comfortable bed, loved the pillows.
Cons: Too much carpet in the room and building, clean but outdated. Shower had a little mold.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff. Room nicely decorated and equipped.
Cons: Wine a little expensive compared to local restaurants.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfy.
Cons: Food in the restaurant was very disappointing. Chicken burger wasn’t cooked thoroughly (pink and bloody) and when I notified the waitress an offer of having it re-cooked was given to me. I had already eaten some of the chips and salad which led staff to believe the meal should still be paid for?

6,7 Good
Pros: I liked the he location of the hotel and the cities we went to, all not too far from the hotel. Good breakfast, drinks and dinner even if we don't appreciate too much French dishes ( Aglio,/ ail, everywhere in whatever we ate).
Cons: Prices Always too high for the services offered by the Hotel. our room for three persons was really too small, no door in the bathroom, 35-40 mq for 3 adults, it's not possible in a Ibis Hotel!! The bathroom and the rest of the room were not clean at all, this is very shameful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great meals - Loved the salt water heated pool and sauna
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food, the staff and the room exceeded my expectations completely. I felt like I was in the Caribbean there, defintely a hotel to reccomend if you want to stay a few days around the region, go to ile de porquerolles and take a day to relax at the hotel amenities, for example the pool and the beach.
7,0 Good
Cons: I was very unimpressed at the spa. I had just spent 120€ at the spa and they would not lend me a towel to go for a swim afterwards. They told me to go all the way back to the hotel desk and ask for one there!!!! This attitude totally ruined my impressions of the thalasso.
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: Dirty room, pool is open just until 18.00. Beach is closed with door. Verry bad location
