Location and facilities.
Easy going friendly team. English speaking. Some teammates may need to use a little machine to interpret Japanese to English or another other languages - it’s all good. The property has more to offer. The massage is good. There’s washing machine, shower room is equipped with all the necessary items (washing towels, soap, shower gels and shampoos, shaver + shaving cream, also a hot pool, sauna and Super herbal steam. It’s near to train station and JR station. Don don DONKI is only a 8 mins walk - you can literally get whatever you want there. Many eatery stores opened till 3am. Shoppers can enjoy the Malls around the estate.
Have to get out by 10am sharp.
It was clean and the capsule was pretty cool
The receptionist don’t know English so we were given 0 information about our stay and check out time. The next day a Japanese guy came at 10 started shouting check out time and opened our capsule . Very rude. We checked out at around 11 and the asked for 550 yen extra for each person. The shower is literally public we had to take a shower with the rest of the spa guests which was really weird and uncomfortable
EVERYTHING I used to work in hotel so I know the standard. The receptionists were very unfriendly and they prevent to bring with us our luggages in the capsules and we had to leave them at the reception; so we forced to open our luggage at the entrance and take our clothes in front of everyone. The place was dirty, we found stains on the sheets and even stains of blood on the curtains. The toilets are narrow and the stink of sewer is an unpaid optional. Dust everywhere. Impossibile to find there is no sign on the street and no directions.
The Spa area is nice, clean and is really enjoyable. It was really good to relax there after a day in Tokyo. Good location near okachimachi station. The staff is nice and does everything to comfort you.
Japanese style room is a joke. The place would be ok if it would not be so hot (26°C according to the thermometer there) and if it would not be so noisy, you hear classical music from 7-23.00 (better change to 8.30-21.00) and the sound from the traffic light from the streets and all the people in the stables/jap. rooms next to you watching tv and snoring in concert. The walls of the room should reach the ceiling and have ventilation, maybe then they would be nicer. The noise is not so problematic with earplugs, but the heat...also the light stays on on the floor all night. Every morning was like a little hangover. Furthermore the toiletrooms, especially the floor there is dirty and looks as if it has not been wiped since weeks. Also the "room" or the 4 walls, as I would call it, was very dusty. On several items in my room or other places in the hotel there was a layer of half a centimeter dust.
