Located right in the middle of san tang street, good for sight seeing

The neighborhood ambience was wonderful. Being by the canal and seeing the colorful street sights every night was simply magical. The nearby restaurants were very good.
The bathrooms needed a solid cleaning. Black mildew was on ALL the tile grout. In a humid climate I would expect some patches, however this bathroom was way overdue for a good scrubbing with bleach. A huge cobweb was behind door. The shower door was missing a panel. THICK dust was on the light lampshades. And no one bothered to reattach several parts of the curtain to the rod. Cracked peeling plaster. Seedy motel 6s in the states are better maintained. We knew going in that the mattress was ultra firm. That was not a problem for half the group. However the other half slept badly.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Its location is really good. It is near to a commercial street and some bars and restaurants. It is also near to a subway station (line 2 that goes to the central and north metro stations). The personal is really nice and polite. Specially a woman that works in the reception, a shame I couldnt memorized her name. She couldn't speak in english though, but she was really nice person and helped me with a lot.

Good location, short walking distance from metro and it is located right in the popular ShanTang street. Nicely decorated and friendly staffs.
Cleanliness to be improved. Little musty smell in room and dusty floor. Obvious water stains on the corner or ceiling. Expect some basic amenities like hair dryer etc.
