Pros: Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Silke was a wonderful and attentive hostess... Highly recommend this property.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful with a big, comfortable bed. Very relaxing in the garden or at the view point overlooking the vineyards. Amazing breakfast. Location beside the KVR bike trail was perfect. And a number of wonderful wineries just minutes away by bike.

Pros: Good food with clean tables.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceeded expectations, great property with great views, wineries close by, friendly staff, overall excellent stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in a few B&B style places but E'Laysa exceeded our expectations. It is extremely well located on the Naramata Bench close to wineries and restautants. The property is spectacular with beautiful gardens and vinyards. The hostess has provided a unique experience with incredible hospitality and warm, comfortable accomodation and lots of opportunity to interact with other guests. And Raphael and Gusto, the resident ambassadors are great. This is a remarkable property and it will be our go to in the Penticton area.
Cons: There is nothing about this property we didn't like.
7,0 Good
Pros: The spacious beautifully landscaped property with many locations to relax, including a spectacular view spot. Very pleasant outdoor seating areas for breakfast. The breakfasts were good. The location near the KVR is great.
Cons: Cleanliness of cottage, in and out, could have been better. Bad odour just outside cottage. Steep loose gravel road and path to cottage could be a little risky for older people. Proper base rock surface would solve this problem. Although very spacious, the layout of the lower cottage is not ideal.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the outside patio and wonderful yard and grounds. The room was well appointed with comfortable chairs and full kitchen. Large bathroom. You truly felt the comfort of your own home.
Cons: nothing.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The grounds were beautiful as was the view.
Cons: The host was not very pleasant. Room was dirty, there was hair on floor, shower, and in the drawers. Major dust on shelves, floor and ceiling fan. Wine glasses were dirty. We were so looking forward to our visit but we were disappointed. Breakfast was good but staff was not warm and welcoming.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, outstanding breakfast, Great location near vineyards and a hiking trail Travelers from all over Canada and Europe, so interesting conversations at breakfast.
Cons: Coffee was disappointing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy place close to many nice wine places.
Cons: Very noisy when the neighboring orchard has the helicopter flying low over the trees the whole morning starting at 7am.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was wonderful. We had an amazing view onto Skaha Beach. Breakfast was quite enjoyable. I have several food dislikes and me requests were easily accommodated (which was great).
Cons: The location could use an escalator or stairway down to the beach. Although the beach is easily within walking distance, the route is neither straight nor easy considering the steep hill to be conquered.

Pros: Every thing
Cons: More vacation time
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely experience staying here. The breakfast was always a surprise with delicious coffee and real cream. Barbara and her husband were adorable.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: Cherry trees on property. Delicious gourmet breakfast served daily. Close to beach, winery, and town.

Pros: Great B&B. The room we got was by a pond on the back of the property. It was on a very quiet street with amazing views below. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfy and the steam shower/ jacuzzi tub was also a nice addition. The couple that runs this place are very nice and accommodating. They offer advice of places to visit and serve an amazing breakfast of good portion sizes with flexible times to eat as well (bonus for late risers).
Cons: Little far from town/most wineries

Pros: This is a nice old 50’s retro motel in a good location that has been freshened up and now wears it’s age as a feature. The suites have a full kitchen and the older furniture has been nicely recovered. Bed was good, and bathroom etc was 50’s ish but spotless. Retro artwork throughout featuring scenes of the motel like a retro travel poster. Pool area and covered family BBQ area was very nicely done.
Cons: Bathtub bottom and sink could use refinishing but all was very clean.

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Star Valley was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The small kitchenette unit had everything we needed for cooking our own breakfast in the morning.
Cons: Our room was very functional but we would have liked more than 1 pod for the coffee machine.
7,0 Good
Cons: The bed felt like it was lumpy/indented towards the middle. Also the floors were so cold. I felt they should of had carpet runners along the bedside.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the start and finish of the Peach City half marathon that our group was participating in that was at the Skaha Beach Park. Nice outdoor space for bbqing, sharing meals and for the kids to play outside. 3 minute walk to the beach, park, playground, highly recommend for families.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, cats, dogs, horses, chickens... everything!!
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good and had a good selection. The scenery is beautiful and so is the property.
Cons: There was no soap in the shower or shampoo or conditioner. The room was comfortable and basic it could use some updating and the comforters could be better quality and brighter, this would help the room. Little things go along way. Also there are animals on the property, the puppy needs to be trained better or maybe kept on a leash or away from the guests until better trained as he was jumping into my car and all over me and I had to change my clothes. He also stained my white pants. The owners did put him away when he got aggressive with me but he should have been away when the guests were out and about. The other 2 older dogs were fine, and the chickens and horses were lovely.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Had an amazing weekend get away. Owners were wonderful and very welcoming. Views were surreal. Hores were amazing and the trail ride was breathtaking. Will Definatley go again. Highly recommend this terific bed and breakfast. The breakfast they serve is also above tops.
Cons: Was not aloud to have an evening fire but totally understood with the dryness
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was very peaceful, quiet setting for myself and my disrupted cats. I was moving from Edmonton to Penticton and needed a place where my cats would feel safe and secure during the transition and it was perfect. The staff are amazingly beautiful as well. Very animal friendly, feel at home at the property:)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem of a place with animals but our room was spotless. The bathroom was wonderful. Stand up shower, all new. Lots of patio, animals, clean air, quiet and so pleasant. The hosts were engaging but left you alone to do your own thing as well. Breakfast was superb with a big table of almost everything you might want. We did a horseback ride and as total beginners, it was fabulous with a lookout view. We were 4 women friends travelling and I would feel very comfortable coming back solo or with friends &family.
Cons: Nothing
5,5 Okay
Pros: The views and quietness. Farm feel.
Cons: Dog and cats in the house. Cat hair everywhere. Room was very small and bathroom even smaller. Could not even turn around in the shower. No coffee or tea facilities in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was awesome and the room was clean and comfy. We had to cut our stay short because of wildfires in the area, but Jochen was very understanding of this and accommodated our early departure. Fantastic hosts!
Cons: Nothing on the part of the B&B.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a home away from home, country style. Liked and enjoyed the breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Breakfast, the view, the animals, the people.
Cons: A bit tough to find, check your map!
5,8 Okay
Pros: I love the breakfast, especially the fried eggs and the bacon.
Cons: We stayed in a basement suite. You cannot open the window as there was no window screen. There were cats and dogs on the premises but we were told that the cats wouldn't go into our rooms. There was no air conditioner in the room. We asked for a fan and the owner gave us one. The elderly gentleman who owned the ranch was ok but not particularly friendly. In fact, I felt a little uncomfortable during my stay.

Cons: Nothing to mention
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Nice beds and hot showers
Cons: Cost
6,0 Good
Pros: Loved the pool and gardens, so beautiful and well kept.
Cons: Our room was not super clean and they knocked on our door early in the morning to ask if we'd like a cleaning and then forgot to clean it and then did a quick not thorough job when they did clean Forgot to give us beach towels which should have been stock
6,8 Good
Pros: Having a ground floor room by the pool was nice. The original room we had was in a poor location with no view but the staff was very accommodating and moved us. The pool area has varied seating and areas with umbrellas. The restaurant is great, especially at night with the fireplaces going. The lobby has free brewed coffee in the morning and cold lemon water all day. Free newspapers are available.
Cons: Our original room was tucked away in a corner with no view. Can’t see anyone wanting to stay in that room. Queen beds would be nice. Bathrooms could be cleaner.
7,5 Good
Cons: The housekeeping lacked in consistency. I had to call several times during my stay to have my room serviced.
5,0 Okay
Pros: There really wasn't anything I liked. Just so you know, I have never given any establishment this poor a rating.
Cons: When I arrived, I went to my room and it was already occupied by another couple and they were startled as well. I was given another room and a lame excuse as to why this happened. The next day, only two minor problems. the coffee mug that I rinsed out was never washed. I had been kind enough to rinse out the coffee maker and basket and put them both away. Also, my coffee package had not been replaced. I asked the front desk about it and they said they would take care of it shortly. After an hour of waiting, I called again and a new clerk was on and she knew nothing about it. The coffee finally arrived with a I'm sorry card in the night sometime as we were not going to wait up for it and it was placed on the door handle in a small bag. The next morning, One of the people staying there as well, part of the wedding party we were all attending on July 20th had left his SS travel mug in room 301 and asked if I would retrieve it for him. I informed the front desk at around noon of this and said I would pick it up when I returned later. It was nowhere to be found. You draw your own conclusions as to where this $20 item ended up. Not the lost and found! I would never stay there again even if it was free. By the way, the Restaurant isn't that great either. All of us had the veal cutlets and they were cold and dry.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location. We ate breakfast overlooking the lake every morning .Very clean. The bed was good. Great coffee shop around the corner. Not fancy ,clean modest accommodation-hope to stay there again next summer
7,5 Good
Cons: The pool was too cold ; expected warmer water but was as cold as lake !
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location, right near Main Street and directly across from the lakeshore area. Staff was super friendly and the room itself was more than sufficient.
Cons: Everything was fine, but the vibe of the place was different. It seemed that many of the guests were staying long-term, hanging out in front of their rooms and such. It wasn't a problem or anything, and we felt completely safe, but it seemed more like a motel where people live than a motel that travelers pass through.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient and clean
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs updating
4,0 Okay
Pros: Great location to Peach Fest
Cons: We were told room was clean and checked in, only to find the bed made and everything was disgusting. Dirty bathroom, not vacuumed or mopped, items left in room by previous quests. Not a good way to start Peach Fest
7,5 Good
Pros: The location was phenomenal
Cons: The property is older, but well maintained. The decor leaves something to be desired.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, right across from the beach and close to restaurants. The room was pretty big and the huge King bed was super comfortable. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked pretty good. The front desk reception was very friendly and efficient. Thank you.
Cons: We were on the second floor and we could feel the front of the room flex when someone heavy walked along the walkway outside. We'd suggest adding a few support columns to the walkway. Also, the parking spots are tight. Some careless person scratched my car, probably with a suitcase or something.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: The bathroom lacked a fan for moisture. The bathtub wall needed caulking and was moldy.
6,0 Good
Pros: Comfy king bed.
Cons: Room smelled old musty
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: You can't beat the location of the Slumber Lodge - easy walking to downtown, tubing and the beach boardwalk. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed, as well as the helpfulness of the staff (both before and during our stay). It was quite quiet between the rooms, too.
Cons: This is a beachfront motel - don't expect luxuries. But knowing that, we were pleasantly surprised with most everything. The only issues were the water temperature in the shower - it was impossible to control or predict. We also stayed on the top floor and every time someone (even a small child) went up/down the outer stairs or walked on the balcony attached to all the rooms, the entire room shook.

Pros: It was retro cuteness. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. We enjoyed having a refreshing dip in the pool.
Cons: The beds were not the best but we still slept well for 2 nights
4,5 Okay
Pros: On paper/screen, it looks like other motels in the area. The location is great and the pool was what we wanted.
Cons: The pool was frankly unsanitary, cloudy for days. Not sure they know how to disinfect it. We did not use it and certainly not let our kids swim in it. One day they did not do house keeping at all, not too sure why. Really really basic supplies, cheapest coffee, cheapest tea possible. They had a top pad for the mattress, but the sheet were not deep enough so the fitted sheet kept coming undone during the night. Obviously they did not purchase new sheets after adding a pad.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived exhausted I was actually given upgrade from hotel room to a Single cottage! I was thrilled the pool was clean the rooms were clean staff was exceptional I will always recommend this five-star!
Cons: There’s nothing negative to say on this property. The owners are wonderful people family owned and operated and I saw their son really working hard to ensure everyone was doing well. The cleaning staff were a little shorthanded but they did the best they could and it was all great but better comfortable location is fabulous they are the best!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It was a really relaxed visit, the pool area wasn’t to busy and the room was nice.
Cons: Would’ve liked a bigger bed for us. At least a queen would’ve been better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is so convenient, and the owners and staff are doing a great job keeping up everything nicely. The beds are very comfy and we liked the nice sheets and bedding. Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. Also the pool was lovely and very clean. We will stay here again!

Pros: Very nice and friendly employee
Cons: Smelly, window in the washroom is unable to open, coffee maker is not working, TV is not working, lamp shade is not working. I will never book in this place anymore. Not really worth.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location, polite helpful staff
Cons: Amenities could use a refresh
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location of this motel is fantastic, right across the street from Okanagan beach, right around the corner from Loco Landing, and in the middle of the beach strip's restaurants. The manager is a friendly helpful lady, and she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had the one bedroom suite, which was comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was well equipped for basic cooking, and had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and full-sized fridge/freezer. The swimming pool was actually heated, and kept very clean. A great choice at a reasonable price!
Cons: The air conditioner didn't work very well in our unit, and should probably be replaced. The houskeeping staff didn't bring replacement coffee packets unless we specifically asked for them, and didn't make the bed. We did get clean towels daily.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location was great. Kitchen suite was helpful.
Cons: Bathroom was really small. Housekeeping was sporadic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rode in early and the staff accommodated my early check in...
Cons: Nothing, the owner is a great person and I would stay again if in Penticton for sure, located right across the street from the lake shore.

Cons: Not much to write here. No complaints

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and the staff were very pleasant & accommodating. Loved that there was no carpet with it being so close to the beach. Room was very clean. Pool was clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. We loved having a little patio area to sit & relax.
Cons: Wasn’t much room to move around the 2nd bed to get to washroom area. Could use a bit more updating.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome,friendly,helpful.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Beds were okay. 9
Cons: The default rating is 2.5 on this site but i would rate it lower. Housekeeping was non-existent. Room was filthy and there is a lot of false advertising on the website. According to the owner the laundry "stopped working last winter but he hadn't got around to fixing it". Same with the ice machine. Pot smoke was constant. Pretty sure my kids and i got high from second hand smoke. Although there are no smoking signs everywhere and ashtrays in front of every room. This is NOT a "resort". It is just another example of a typical cheap Penticton motel that happens to be near the beach so they feel they can charge premium rates. So many people seem to have purchased a motel in Penticton and have no clue about the hospitality industry. Other than the location the place is a ripoff.

Pros: Great location right in the heart of the Narmata bench wineries. Walking distance to hillside winery which is great for dinner
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. Good value for the money.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Property and Room was exactly as represented in the photos, it was extremely clean. What the photos do not show you, Marianne and Annemarie are so welcoming and pleasent to deal with. They are there for you if you need them and if not you don't even see them or know they are there. As this is a new property it will only get busier and hard to book in the furture. We will be returning next year and this will be our new "home" for our annual trip to Naramata. Stayed for 3 days.
Cons: To be totally honest , nothing. Bed was a little ' squeaky ' but that is what happens with a metal bed frame. View is amazing and it was extremely quiet at night unlike some other places we have stayed over the years.
