Pros: The second we walked in to the Inn, we felt relaxed. To top that first impression off, we were offered wine to help us settle in. We loved the atmosphere, style, luxery, and cleanliness of the Inn will be back ASAP!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room, Fluerie, was large and clean, nicely decorated in an old fashioned way with a small tv up high. It had a spa tub. It had a view of the parking lot in back. The breakfast was delicious, served in measure portions.
Cons: The location was on the Main Street near the end of town away from the beach. I misread the map and thought it was closer to the beach which is where we wanted to be. Next time we’ll know better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great customer DU service, clean and really nicely decorated rooms. Love all the extra touches in the room and with the food selection. Full breakfast with several choices. Extra goodies offered at a price but there are free freshly made cookies delivered to your room door and you are offered a glass of wine for free as well. The food was delicious and great service too. It was Marie’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special. All in all I highly recommend Cayucos Sunset Inn.
Cons: For such an excellent bed and breakfast, I wish they had a better location, like across the street on the beach side. Not really a dislike but just a wish. Of course no place available for them over there. You can get an Oceanview if you get an upstairs room. We plan on requesting that our next visit.

Pros: Plenty of room for a larger family, felt more like staying at someone’s well equipped home on the beach. Everything I mean everything is within a very short walk. Park the car and forget about driving.Great views shops and amenities all on one property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely surprise. Owner greeted us at check-in , fueled the fireplace, and walked us thru the amazing amenities of quaint, memorable Cayucos and Pier View Suites. Sweet, quaint main street view, with the ocean as a backdrop! We stayed in a renovated "studio", with a “FAB” large balcony, for which the COMFY furniture had been prepared for us, yummy warm blanket included. Only stayed 1 night....would have wished for more days, But "adventure calls", and we continued on to Cambria, another completely different vibe, wonderful as well. Will definitely revisit Pier View Suites again soon. Many thanks for an A+++ experience. Be sure to visit ”Duckies Chowder House" for a great local casual dining experience! Many thanks Jason, YOU ROCK!
Cons: Could use a hook on bathroom door for robes, clothing etc, and something on the shower/ bath bottom to avoid slipping ( we’re Medicare age ;) ) ISTHIS REALLY A COMPLAINT? NOOOOO!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: View of surf and pier, quaint little town, special glass shower, comfy bedclothes, efficient kitchen, loved the terrace chairs but dinner table chairs too soft, easy Netflix
Cons: Needed sand management devices, coat hooks at front door, surf board storage?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The ocean view, the balcony, the jetted tub, and Jason's hospitality.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall it was cool little spot that needs a bit of a face lift when it comes to the surroundings creating a cozy, intamate ambiance. Great location, great amount of space, and a beautiful view.
Cons: For the cost of of the room I feel as though the over all furniture should be a bit nicer then it was as well as the bed linens.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The place was clean. The Open Key was easy to use. The view was perfect. The beds were comfortable except for the sofa beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The staff was friendly. The location is ideal. The living room TV had access to Disney Plus.
Cons: The sliding glass door would not open and close smoothly. The sofa bed downstairs was uncomfortable for my daughters. Maybe the light switches can be labeled? It was a little frustrating trying to figure out which switch went to what and I think a light was out over the vent hood in the kitchen. The gas wasn't connected down in the outside seating area so no fire was available. We tried to put Disney Plus on the TV downstairs for our daughters but it was difficult to set up a Roku account and then Disney Plus free trial. I dont know where we were going wrong maybe just user technical difficulties. They were able to watch other programs so it was fine.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cant beat the location. There is no better price motel with access to the ocean practically across the street. Everything walking distance.
Cons: I rented two rooms, they were not very clean. Some features of the rooms were pretty dated, like a cavernous tile shower that I just couldn't quite step in to. The fridge in one room froze the babies milk and the other room fridge was not cold enough. The family room had really dirty/stained carpet while other side of motel was updated to wood laminate.
7,0 Good
Pros: I don't know what all the other reviewers are complaining about. I was honestly expecting a shanty town before my arrival after reading all these ridiculous reviews. Its absolutely fine. Clean, straight to the point and no hassle. We stayed here for thanksgiving night and the next night visiting family in Cayucos because everything else was booked up and honestly had a wonderful time. We were in room n. 18 which had one king bed and two queens in a separate room, one bathroom and TV. It had heating which worked and and king bed was super comfy (the two queens needs to be replaced). Please bear in mind that I am 26 years old and stayed with my two brothers and girlfriends and my boyfriend. We are all super easy going (and have traveled far and wide) so if you are too.. this will be a great stay for you. I also called the hotel a day before our arrival to confirm I was coming and asked for a deep cleaning. They were super accommodating and kind. I will say this... for two nights we payed 365 for the suite, it seemed expensive to me but it was Thanksgiving so... All in all, I will stay here again. You cant beat the location!
6,0 Good
Pros: The price. The management was very helpful.
Cons: For the price I didn't expect much.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Best beach location for the price by far!
Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner

Pros: It was the cheapest motel by a long way. The location was great, minutes from the beach and close to downtown.
Cons: Kind of rundown. The plumbing fell apart in the washbasin. The tv was tiny.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and price
7,0 Good
Pros: Large room, plenty of tv channels and overachieving fridge.
Cons: amenities at a minimum, veeery slow hot water
7,0 Good
Pros: It is literally 950 feet from the start of main street. The location is PERFECT!! Its walking distance to beach, shops restaurants, and the local bar
Cons: The bed was HORRIBLE!! There was a huge sink hole in the middle so my husband and I pretty much slept rolled on top of eachother
