Pros: Staff went out of their ways to support myself and my family whilst on our break ....which turned out to be a little bit chaotic and stressful. Turning up to " check-in", it was discovered that id booked the wrong date and me plus 2 tired and quite irritable children were 1 week early for our stay - not intentional of course. My heart sank - we were tired, had traveled from Norfolk and were gasping for a cuppa! The reception staff were very accomodating and managed to change the booking and we ended up saving a few pennies too which was a bonus! A short wait in the reception area and we were in! Peace and time to relax at last.....or maybe not! Later in the evening, I realised I had misplaced my mobile phone! How annoying! My daughters' health was also deteriorating ( she has chronic asthma ) and was struggling to support herself so it was crucial that I made contact with my Partner and other children who were in Stevenage but couldnt!! My phone MUST be in my car (with my daughters' spare inhalers) BUT.....my car keys were with my partner! - I couldn't contact him or drive to him! I was stuck in a town I had never been to before and had no idea how to track my partner down! The reception staff helped me search online for local telephone numbers where my Partner could have been - i had a rough idea of street address and after some time I managed to make contact with him and he arrived to rescue us! Our hero! My daughter perked up with access to her medication which was in the car and the next morning we all enjoyed a happy breakfast together - Porridge and fruits went down a treat! Thank you! We wont forget the story of our exciting trip to Stevenage - hope to see you again one day! :)

Pros: Cheap. Friendly staff.
Cons: Bed was actually two singles pushed together so felt d though we were going to fall down the gap while getting amorous... Bathroom window covered in black mould. Loud music until 1am, hotel clearly knew about this but didn't let us know until we checked in.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view from the 4th floor, ease of heating & easy to operate open windows. Comfortable bed, nice clean sheets, just enough towels & pillows. Top hygiene, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Shower a bit more powerful. Nice and spacious and good temperature control but prefer an even harder flow.

Pros: My room was okay, the bed was comfortable and the shower and wc clean and functional. I couldn't get the heating controls to work so I was unable to moderate the temperature which was quite warm but the room was clean, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The receptionist was exceptional - lovely nature, very helpful and knowledgeable and beautiful too!
Cons: Not particularly impressed by Stevenage on a Sunday evening but I can't really blame you for that now can I?

Pros: Was not asked on checking in to register car. Coming from Australia this was totally unknown to us. Now have to sort out if we have fine with rental car company/ hotel to get fine cancelled. Not good enough.
Cons: Not being informed about registering car on arrival.

Pros: All good in the circumstances every body made an effort
Cons: Nothing to dislike
6,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: We turned up in the afternoon to watch the Rugby only to find the pipes for the beer were being cleaned through. Why could this not have been done in the morning??. Also many guests were turning up for a birthday party and could not order an on tap beer. Bizarre. Also not enough staff were employed to serve behind the bar. Ordering a drink in the main bar area was a nightmare so we gave up and went to the smaller bar. Please try to get more staff. You will sell more alcohol. It's a no brainer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff on reception very nice & helpful would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends
Cons: The only that let it down was the toilet wasn’t very clean ,

Cons: The hotel is run down - curtains hanging a a couple of threads , however it was clean Information in reception was dated 2018. Hotels normally have a bar, food - neither here during my stay so a picnic from Tesco a short walk away The reception wasn't staffed and the main door unlocked so for lone travellers felt insecure. My room each morning was left unlocked by the cleaning staff and was shrugged off. lighting on the corridors didn't work and in my room neither side lamps worked - both blown bulbs that were not replaced.

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Comfy bed
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel was disgusting. The hallways smelt of cannabis, the rooms had mould and cob webs. I can't believe people pay to stay at this hotel.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The location
Cons: The fact homeless where housed in the hotel and I wasn't told before the booking as I wouldn't of paid 90 pounds to sleep in the same hotel as homeless alcoholics making noises all the time
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very close to bus stop coming from airport. So close that i actually walked past it at first and had to come back.
Cons: Doesn't have the fun factor of being a capsule hotel, but in a windowless room has some of the drawbacks.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I asked the receptionist to give me a room far from the reception and he didn’t. I did not get one wink of sleep as staff and guests were running up and down from night going into the morning shouting and laughing up and down the corridor. The hygiene in the room was disgusting. Hairs on all the bedding, dark handprint stains on the walls and the headboard had not been cleaned in god knows how long. I had only been in the bed for a few minutes before my body started to itch. Absolutely horrible hotel and I only stayed for one night. I can’t imagine if it was a long term stay. Definitely will not be back there again.

1,0 Poor
Pros: The location is good, very near to Luton airport.
Cons: The room was not clean and the bathroom was very dirty! The staff is very rude and unprofessional. The hotel is very run down and overpriced. Not even close to a three star hotel! Poor facilities and very very dirty.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Its a budget hotel and I knew that. As budget hotels go, its pretty good. Easy in and out, functional. Its seen better days and there are issues, but its mean to moan when the price is great. Perfectly nice night's sleep. Recommended, as budget hotels go.
Cons: First time I've had an air conditioner in this hotel so that was great, but it sounded like an aircraft taking off. Very worn and tatty, room smelt of cigarettes, but comfortable enough and everything worked.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The lovely helpful barman who was the only friendly face insaw who was able to explain to the strangers that I was a keyworker and normally a regular customer
Cons: Last night I was shocked - I stay at the Chiltern regularly and have done weekly for a year because it is close to my work. I haven't stayed for a month as the prices have doubled and trebled at times so commute home normally. I am a keyworker and manage a large nursing home - I booked on booking.com for just over 45.00 for a room and had paid already. When I arrived at the property I was questioned by a new set of staff who said that as I was not a keyworker they would charge me another ten pounds for my stay on top of what I had paid. I managed to prove I was a keyworker but stated that under no circumstances would I pay more anyway - they told me that due to covid their rooms were in high demand. I sat in the hotel as I normally do watching people in the bar area huddled together drinking and quite loud and was told by a member of staff that they were homeless but that the hotel was being paid well for keeping them there during the outbreak. While I appreciate people need somewhere to stay, I did not appreciate the unfriendly welcome from the staff and the inflated prices, and their 'extra' on top of what I had paid to booking.com - shame on you Chiltern Hotel - your premises are shabby, your normal staff are wonderful - however I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ....... A normally regular, and very disgruntled customer Belinda
6,0 Good
Pros: Reasonable price and location.
Cons: Bed is old and needs a new mattress. Paint peeling. General look of a lot of wear and tear. Sinks have no plugs (annoying) and often seem to block up. (Has happened on three visits.) Nothing terrible, just needs some TLC.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice hotel
Cons: I didn’t like that when I checked in I had to pay more money to match their on computer price ...never heard of that before ..if you book on line then that’s it ..not pay more when u arrive ...can you let me know if this is legal
5,3 Okay
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: The heating was not working and the room/bathroom was tired and shabby.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The staff where helpfull first providing a very small electric heater and then moving me to another room upon request.

Pros: The location of the hotel is very good, the closest hotel to the airport. The rooms are relatively small but comfortable. Very good sound insulation.
Cons: Breakfast is good but relatively poor. Very often there is a lack of food and one has to wait for someone to bring. The continental breakfast, which starts very early in the morning is terrible, there is almost nothing! The staff is relatively polite but few in number. The man at the reception is also a bartender, which is unacceptable. We had booked a room with two single beds, and they gave us one big, we had to ask for a change of reception.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff and cleanliness!
Cons: No
6,5 Good
Pros: Advantages: +very good location +nice facilities +relatively spacious room
Cons: Disadvantages: -staff misinformed us about time needed to get to the airport and we were rushing out at 04:00 in the morning without having possibility of taking breakfast which we have paid for. Too much focus is paid to shuttle bus connection when in fact it takes 5 minutes to go to the airport. We were 2.5 hours before our flight when we could have had breakfast in easy and relaxed way. Pros: The hotel is in quite a good location for the airport although it did cost us £9 in an Uber to get to the airport the next morning. Continental breakfast was ok but we still had to eat at the airport as not much choice.
Cons: The bed was terrible, every time you eve moved an inch it made a terrible noise so unfortunately we did not sleep very well at all.
7,3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was a 10/10
Cons: night staff on reception left us waiting for entry into the hotel, until he had finished a phone call. Barman ignored us when we tried to order food and drinks and served a customer who had obviously been in the bar all night giving tips to the staff! Night staff were very poor to say the least!

Pros: Everything about the hotel, also the friendly staffs
Cons: Splendid

Pros: Bery fast check in /checknout, very friendly, nice rooms but not big
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food in the restaurant was very nice. Italian chef. Felf like we were eating in Italy the pizza was that good
8,0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were clearly ready to provide service, the duty manager, in particular, went out of his way to ensure that I had all that I needed. I arrived too late for the restaurant (albeit see below) and the bar staff nevertheless provided me with a very nice sandwich and glass of wine. My bags were kept whilst I had appointments the next day and my day also kept in the secure car park a short distance away (which the duty manager guided me to on foot, the night before) until I needed it.
Cons: Had I known the restaurant (Pizzeria) would close somewhat before the actual designated closing time (because it is a wood fired oven) I would have finished my call sooner and got downstairs. That could have been publicised a little better but that is me being pedantic.
7,0 Good
Pros: Parking facilities. Reception and bar attendants. Clean and comfortable room. Room service.
Cons: Unable to taste the famous Icon pizza, perhaps because of time. The room telephone was inoperative but the reception staff apologiesed and promised to log it in for repairs.
