Pros: Eggs were great as was bed & linens! Lovely staff. Love this charming gem!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Overall a nice stay. They said our room was wallpapered by Brad Pitt's father, so that was a little bonus.
Cons: The time frame for arriving at breakfast was 8:00 to 8:30, which means early risers and late sleepers are out of luck. Check-in time was also very restrictive, and checkout was at 10:00. Bed was abnormally high in the air, requiring steps. Probably would prefer to have known that the property belonged to some sort of megachurch that had recently changed its name.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building with amazing decor. Myra could not have been a more charming hostess!
Cons: Wish they served breakfast everyday!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay. So much history in one place but also renovated to be more than functional. Very clean. Staff was hospitable and helpful.
7,9 Good
Pros: We stayed on a Thursday night. Apparently they only serve breakfast on a Sat or Sunday which was not told in a booking.com description. A bowl of granola bars, packaged cinnamon rolls were all that was provided. Coffee was a a container from the night before. A bowl of apples would be a great enhancement. Also maybe a Keurig machine for guests to make a fresh hot beverage in the morning would be a welcome upgrade. The mansion was lovely. Myra was a delight to talk with upon arrival what a gem she is. Just a few upgrades for midweek guests would be so great.
Cons: Explained above. A few easy upgrades to midweek guests for a more satisfactory get your own breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are really informative and very accommodating. The facilities were very clean. Loved my stay here. The little extras that they provide was great. Definitely stay here if you are in Springfield.
Cons: I
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all friendly and willing to share history, and tour of the area. They are all very proud of this magnificent home. Fascinating B&B. Breakfast selections were great, and very well presented (glad we didn't sleep in and miss it.) Felt welcomed and comfortable!! Shared this experience with my daughter for her 50th birthday celebration.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and value. Easy access.
Cons: Small bathroom
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely place to get away. Great staff!
7,0 Good
Pros: The mansion is very unique, clean, and well decorated. The room was spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Having the freedom to look around the mansion independently was fun.
Cons: The breakfast was disappointing. It was no more than a cheap hotel continental style breakfast. It was fruit, pastries and breads that were clearly from a box, frozen waffles, sausage, and undercooked scrambled eggs. Of all the bed and breakfasts we’ve stayed at, this was by far the most disappointing breakfast.

Pros: I originally had a booking error with a different hotel and at the last minute stopped in to see if a room was available. Fortunately they just had a last minute cancellation. The staff was extremely helpful, but even more impressive were the beds. Wow, they were fantastic. My wife and I both had a great nights sleep.
Cons: The Keurig coffee pot in the room didn't work. They came up to look at it right away, but were still getting ready for the day, so they would need to come back later. It doesn't look like they did as the second day it was still not working.

3,8 Mediocre
Cons: After checking out the staff charged me double the price. Told me the room smelled of marijuana and was really rude. I was there maybe 10 hours with my 3 children in the room and I do NOT smoke. I asked the manager how she could tell me it was me that had the marijuana and she claimed that she had witnesses who verified it but then said it was just from the smell. If it was done in the room how could she have a witness when it was just my family in the room? To me that sounds like a hidden camera has been placed in the rooms or something. Which is an invasion of privacy. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone and I will NEVER stay there again.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: My room’s toilet overflowed and they were so understanding and changed our room without a second thought. So friendly and helpful. Welcoming smiles and I needed that since I was staying the weekend to drop my daughter off at college. I was already super sad and a smile is what I needed.
Cons: I wished breakfast had a bacon option added to the sausage option and hot chocolate/cappuccino. I’m not a coffee drinker. But my husband and daughter loved the waffles and I enjoyed everything else!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to everything we needed to do. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was ok. We do like staying here though.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and also had a good variety. Staff were very attentive and responsive. Plenty of room to sit, even on a busy morning. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Front elevator was broke down unfortunately but the rear elevator was still functioning. We also missed the evening welcome reception by 5 minutes...darn traffic lol!
6,7 Good
Pros: The rooms are decent. The mini fridge really is “mini” and does not include a freezer area. The bathrooms are decent sized. The beds are not the most comfortable - I think it’s time for new mattresses. The pillows were decent. The breakfast and dinners were fair. Free popcorn in the lobby, however, it was burnt most days. We tried using the pool, but there were people in the pool area having a birthday party and it was PACKED. They had glass bottles, dogs, trash everywhere and were just very disrespectful to others. I think they were “locals”, as we would watch them come and go in their vehicles - already dressed for the pool. Kids were running up and down the hallways and screaming and knocking on doors until almost 12:30am. We did contact the front desk and they said they would take care of it, however, it continued. I understand it’s not something the hotel “did”, it was more annoying that parents let it happen! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and for the most part, the hotel was clean as well. If you’re coming here on a business trip, I’m not sure you’d get much rest or quiet time. But if you’re coming with your family, it would be okay. I do not think it’s worth $400 for a two night stay, based upon my experience.
7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff!
Cons: The elevator was out of order, leaving only one elevator for the entire hotel and it was at the opposite end of the hotel from our room. Was very inconvenient. Room seemed small and a little overcrowded with furniture.

Cons: I stayed on 9/21/19 - when I return home in the late evening there was not a single parking spot open for me to park. I asked to speak to the GM about the parking situation and have not received a phone call and it is now 5 days after I checked out.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. The place is under renovation construction, but they are containing it well
5,4 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Old facility.....showing its age. Beds were well used.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room were clean and smell nice, especially noticing the hotel was pet friendly!
Cons: When choosing a hotel, we tend to one that includes a hot breakfast. Usually, when breakfast is include the hotel cost is higher. Breast hours are Weekdays 6:30 to 9:30am. The first day, we went to breakfast around 8:15am. It wasn't crowded at all. Well, they were out of coffee, no cups, about 1/4 fruit salad, powdered eggs were over cooked/dried and only a few strips of bacon. The area was not well maintained and shouldn't of had to keep asking if they were going to bring out more. The hostesses were very polite. The 2nd morning 8am was worst. No coffee, cups, fruit, or juice. With only a few items left, I ended up making a McDonalds run down the street. I checked back 25 minutes later, the area had been restocked but by this time the area was overly crowded. Went to get OJ and fruit, by this time the OJ was mainly water and only had large chunks honeydew, not sweet. I would consider their hot breakfast more of a hot continental style breakfast. My daughter attends Missouri State University. We make at least 6 trips a year. For the last two years I have always booked our hotel reservations through Booking.com. Upon arrival every hotel (Hilton, Embassy, Doubletree, Candlewood Suite, University Plaza, etc.. have always honored AAA discount. When I asked the desk receptionist Thursday, I was informed because I booked through booking.com, they were NOT able to adjust the discount. Keep on mind, all other hotels were able to do so. So, I contacted Booking.com and explained the situation. I spoke with Shelby who contacted the hotel directly was was informed, the hotel Residence Inn opted not to honor AAA. Also, not only have I used our AAA discount at hotels in Springfield, but hotels in Chicago, New York, Memphis, MS, etc... With that being said, I will inform other Mo States families of this situation as we will NOT choose a Residence Inn in Springfield every again. I will also contact Marriotts corporate office.

Pros: Very quit area. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff, pool and hot area very nice and clean
Cons: I have stayed here several times before and the breakfast this time around was not good. everything was cold, poor selection and coffee was sub par. Very disappointing as it has always exceeded my expectations in the past. It was puzzling as this was a weekend and more people stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed here for access to the Frisco Highline bike trail. It was a good location for that. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and breakfast was excellant. I liked that breakfast was available at 6:00 a.m.
Cons: I have no complaints.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with two queen beds. Very nice hot breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and typical of the other places we have stayed at. We like that it is more than a continental breakfast. The options for breakfast was good and I enjoy being able to have breakfast without having to go somewhere else to get it.
Cons: There were two breads for toast, white and cinnamon raisin. I would have preferred to also have wheat bread. The bread was still in the wrapper and I felt uncomfortable reaching into the bag tho I also realize that leaving it in the bag keeps it fresher than leaving it out to dry out.
7,5 Good
Pros: We were there to go to bed and get up a few hours later to head to the airport. It served its purpose and beds were comfy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of choice for breakfast. they even had pineapple and quartered the oranges ready to eat. Good area at rear of hotel for dog exercise & potty. Immaculate landscaping. Close to airport with shuttle bus service every half hour.
Cons: Liked everything about it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly. Stayed two nights could not asked for better room. Pool was clean and well taken care of.
Cons: Breakfast could be better eggs were tough and sausages were rubbery other than that it was good.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked it was close to the airport and the staff were helpful
Cons: I did not like hearing noise all night. I did not get much sleep since it sounded as if Elephants were stomping on the 3rd floor. We were on the 2nd floor. I could hear people talking etc so the building does not seem to be constructed well.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were great, room was spacious and clean.
Cons: Walls were "thin" - could hear adjoining room conversations.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room with roll in shower was what we needed. It was quiet and suited our needs. Free guest laundry. Good WiFi.
Cons: Breakfast was always out of food. Some days no yoghurt. There are no bagels. Waffle irons stick badly, perhaps 80% of waffles I saw guests make stuck badly and had 1/2 the waffle stuck to the top and 1/2 stuck to the bottom. We had flies and mosquitoes in the room every day and night - all in all we stayed nearly 3 weeks in that room and always had these insects. There was no place to sit outside for this room. Guests sitting outside their rooms were smoking - their smoke filled the corridor outside our room and smoke filtered in to our room.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast with about anything you could want & everything tasted great. Friendly & helpful staff. Great rates & all on one level. Looked like little cottages on the outside, & very nice clean & comfortable room. Close to several great restaurants, with Ziggies right next door boasting all you can eat catfish, walleye, ribs, & chicken; though we did not eat there. Great experience would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Cons: There was something on the floor by the tub in the bathroom & a little outside the bathroom. A bit of toilet tissue picked right up. Probably something off cleaning utensils.

Pros: Food good, good selection
Cons: Handicapped rooms should have handicapped toilets

Cons: Bathroom was not cleaned. Filthy. Urine on floor, rings of water stains in tub, black rings (mold?) in toilet bowl. Indonesian night manager is exceedingly rude and argumentative (on multiple stays). We will never ever stay here again. We are done,

Pros: From time we walked in staff was super nice , need anything sure plus here is extra , I have never stayed where the entire staff team including house keeping was super nice , answered all my questions.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff both day and night, were personable and helpful. Maid staff was exceptional- they went above and beyond to make us feel we were appreciated. These employees should be valued and appreciated. They do good work and care about their customers. Pool was clean and well-stocked.
Cons: TV channel selections, refrigerator door bent, causing refrigerator to run constantly. Room 223. Parking lot lights shining in window at night even with additional towels draped around window.
