Pros:The reverse camera.Cons:We caught an Uber from the DFW airport to the Mariott Hotel where Sixt is located. Once we found the sign, it took us to an empty parking garage. We asked the hotel front desk clerk and she walked us to the Sixt office. We told the Sixt agent about the signage leading to the parking garage and she just said "Yea, I don't know why we even have that. It makes no sense". I originally tried to rent a Toyota Camry and somehow ended up renting a Toyota Yaris. Dunno how that got changed. However, I was okay with that since the only reason I was renting the Camry was high gas mileage and the Yaris had comparable gas mileage. The clerk once again made a comment about Sixt not even having a Yaris in their fleet in the first place and doesn't know why it's one the website. I then asked if we could get the Camry that I had originally tried to book as we want a car with good gas mileage. The clerk said she would upgrade up at no charge and give us a Chevy Equinox SUV. I told her we would rather have the Camry, we do not want an SUV due to the poor gas mileage. She told us she doesn't have any Camry's. I asked if she had any other vehicles besides the Equinox. She said she did have others but her boss told her that she could not give out any other vehicle than the Equinox and that the other vehicles were only to be rented to new customers for the Thanksgiving holiday. So we got stuck with the Equinox. We paid double the cost in fuel than we would have with what we originally rented. To us, the upgrade was definitely a downgrade and when we asked to receive what we wanted we were basically told no. Didn't have car I reserved, charged extra for upgrade??Pros:Not a single thingCons:They were out of the standard model when I arrived, though I'd reserved one. When I arrived, the couple in front of me was arguing with the person behind desk who was telling them that they'd need to pay extra if they wanted a car that moment, as all they had were SUVs and their computer "wouldn't allow them" to give them an SUV at the standard rate. Since I was attempting the same thing, I joined the conversation to confirm that they'd really allowed two different reservations of two different standard vehicles and that they in fact had zero, and that they really were requiring us to pay extra to drive away a car at the time of reservation. All of us were first time customers to this company, and all of us ended up canceling our reservations. This company's business practices make no sense. Avoid like the plague.Reviewed Sep 14 2017

Pros:Nothing at all.Cons:Nutshell Version: Rented a car for a road trip to a Northern State. Nothing in any documentation that I reviewed stated there was a problem with this. I even called to upgrade and paid extra for a class upgrade. Two months later, when I got to the counter I was told that I couldn't drive the vehicle outside of their "regional zone" without extremely expensive penalty fees. Obviously, this meant I couldn't use the vehicle and instead of granting me the full refund right there, I was told that they would open a complaint ticket and it was only "likely" I would receive a refund. Several days later I get a refund that is nowhere near the 650.00 that I paid for the rental nor the extra 140.00 for the upgrade. They are thieves and scammers. DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT.Reviewed Jan 6 2021
