I was charged twice for the rental. I spent 131 dollars to book it online, then charged another 220 dollars even though i returned it on time with no damages. I plan to be making some calls to find out why i am being charged almost 400 dollars for a rental for ONE DAY. As of now, i would NOT recommend Hertz to anyone, nor do i plan to do business with them again in the future. I feel I have been robbed and must now fight to try and get my money back

I had to change the dates and when I called about the refund a week before picking up the car, they gave me a run around. After 2 hours and multiple calls I was finally got a decent person that was able to issue the refund. Don't believe them when they tell you that you have to call the kayak or other sites to get your refund. They already have your money and are hoping you will just give up. The second issue I had was picking up the car. They would only allow me to rent after I gave them my own insurance information even though I had insurance from the booking site. The lack of customer service has made me decide to never do business with them again.

I Cancelled my reservation at this webpage they don't have to return the money, and it suppose was a 24 hours before, so it would be free.

The initial man I was directed to didn’t care to listen to the specifics of my situation, told me to book the rental online first even though I was standing right in front of him and he could’ve booked something for me. In the middle of me booking a car, he went on break. So I ended up being helped by two other people. The initial cost of my booking was over $900 for three days because I was going to return the car at a different city, but one of the other ladies helped me adjust my booking to accommodate my need. Overall I didn’t feel very welcomed, but the first guy (taller, skinny, dark skin, maybe Mexican) isn’t a professional, he doesn’t know how to maturely interact with customers. The other two ladies that helped me (one larger black woman with braids, the other was a smaller skinny black woman with an Afro and long red nails) were so nice and helpful. They could tell I wasn’t being assisted and jumped in. I’ll probably avoid this location in the future.

The agent at the counter in Dallas was not friendly, borderline mean. The agents in Jacksonville where I dropped off the vehicle were absolutely friendly and helpful. Overall, Hertz gives great value for the deals they offer.
