Pros: The room rate included breakfast which was excellent with plenty of choice. The location of the hotel is perfect overlooking the lake and close to the castle and thermal spa. It was a clear day in November and our third floor room overlooking the jetty gave us a beautiful view of the lake. It was worth paying a little bit extra for a room with a view even at that time of the year.

Pros: This hotel was fabulous, it is in a perfect location and the lake view room was amazing with a stunning view, could have asked for a better room. The staff were fantastic, extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The breakfast was brilliant with a great choice, perfect location and view and fabulous coffee. Pros: This is a lovely hotel, where I last stayed in 1955 when I was 10 years old! It has changed a bit (!) but I am so happy that I came back and my wife and I had a super stay.

Pros: Wonderful location. Beautiful peaceful olive groves, but not far to walk to restaurants, and interesting sites such as the castle and ruins.

Pros: A very atmospheric and cosy boutique hotel in an idyllic tranquil setting! The Olivi hotel can certainly boast good lavish breakfasts which are much better quality than those in 5-star hotels like Abano Ritz hotel Terme where breakfasts left much to be desired. We were also impressed with the bright and stylish interior design of the small lobby area, and our meticulously clean deluxe room was very nicely furnished. Reception managers are polite, helpful and speak good English - and particularly our great thanks to manager Nicky - he is highly professional, very client-oriented and really versatile! We will certainly come back again!

Cons: A couple of hangers/hooks for clothes are certainly missing in the bathroom.

Pros: Junior suite room was quite fancy and modern, way much better than superior double. Location is excellent. SPA, warm and cold pools, saunas, view, breakfast, parking. Old part of city is a few mins away. If you arrive by car you can keep your car either outside the old city on paid city parking or you will need to drive to free hotel parking through the old city, zone trafica limite - don’t forget to provide your car plate number to the hotel in advance before arriving. The location is excellent. We are going to stay in this hotel again.

Cons: You will need to drive through very narrow streets with crowds. But if you are experienced driver it shouldn’t be an issue.

Pros: The situation is excellent with wonderful lake views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The thermal pool and spa was amazing. Great breakfast too.

Cons: The rooms are a bit spartan and the beds and pillows are hard but didn’t stop us sleeping!

Pros: The hotel is located near the garda lake, which enables you to enjoy the most beautiful view during your breakfast. Moreover, from the swimming pool you could easily access the lake itself for a refreshing swim.

Cons: To access the hotel ( if you come by car) you have to drive through the town itself. You arre surrounded by tourists and you have to drive very slow. So it is not easy to go in and out sirmione.

Pros: The spa and pool facilities are wonderful, as good as any top class spa I’ve seen in Austria or other countries. The spa treatments (massage) are very good.

Cons: The food is acceptable but not 4*. Limited selection of meats and cheeses but there is something for everyone.

Cons: Poor hairdryer located in bathroom. It could have been updated to a modern one! An extra pillow would have been nice!

Pros: A lovely place to stay. Beautifully situated at the end of the peninsula. Easy walk into the hub of the historical centre of Sirmione, The staff were great, a lovely room and the breakfast was fabulous.

Pros: Great location and very interesting drive through the town to get to the hotel.

Cons: Would have been nice for the pool to be heated.

Pros: I spent 5 nights at this hotel last week and it was very nice and in a great location in Sirmione. The room we had was on the 3rd floor and was nice, clean and had a lake view corner balcony which had a stunning view of the lake. Continental breakfast was very nice and set us up for the day out and about. We didn't have dinner on any nights in the hotel, therefore I cannot comment on the restaurant. Anyway, I would definitely have no hesitation staying here again in the future.

Cons: The only small negative comment I have is that the air-con had been turned off in the hotel on the day we arrived. Apparently they had switched the heating on because of the cooler season (it was still ~20/21 °C) and at this temperature and having a corner room with the sun from 10am until it set, it made the room very warm and uncomfortable to sleep - probably exacerbated by us being from Scotland where 21°C is a heat wave :-) Seems that last week was the last week of the season, so I found it a little strange they didn't just keep the air-con on for the week.

Cons: Hotel's beauty is outside the rooms, which are frankly poorly equipped and too hot. Everything else has contributed to make our stay very nice.

Cons: could have had duvets instead of blankets - as the nights were quite cold despite it being sunny in the day and duvets are a lot more comfortable than blankets and most hotels priced at this amount would have access to duvets , also means more comfort and definitely cleaner than blankets. also the vegan spread could have been better , we made do by being vegetarian for the stay but perhaps the hotel should think about having a couple of vegan options at least upon request for example - tofu scramble, vegan croissants etc or vegan spreads, oat milk etc - all very easily available in other hotels priced at this price .. its only a suggestion to help improve an already excellent hotel - the above are the two things that may make me think twice before booking again or recommending to another

Pros: Breakfast was a total hit. It was tons of food' anything you wanted. The best cookies ever! The scrambled eggs we gorgeous! The view!!!!

Cons: Finding it in the dark at 9 pm. The light was out on the small sign by the turn and the name on the wall has ivy growing over it. We asked people but they did not know. Finally after 2 runs around the hill we found it. It was worth it.

Pros: The location is super. Amazing view to the lake. Very close to the old town. Very relaxing environment with a nice pool and nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The location is the big advantage of the hotel. But all in all, the room was very noise, the doors are made by paper and for the price it is very basic. So only the location and the view what people need to pay for. The hotel in all is average.
