Beautiful location, great breakfasts, friendly staff.
The opportunity to have dinner in the dining room in the evenings (rather than outside). We were advised on our arrival that we could dine in the dining room, but this was withdrawn as there was a wedding. My wife has an allergy to mosquitoes and suffered all week as a result of bites dining outside on our first night (even though the staff did their best with spray and candle).
This amazing hotel is one of the most fabulous hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. We stayed here for our honeymoon in August. Our room on the third floor was very large, beautifully decorated, extremely clean with a huge balcony and a stunning view overlooking the pool and Lake Garda. Absolutely breathtaking. The grounds of the hotel are vast and superbly kept. The private jetty was an added luxury and fantastic location to spend the day in the sun whilst sipping cocktails and taking a dip in the lake. The beach restaurant served the most fantastic seafood lunches. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot sing this Hotels praises enough, please stay here and experience pure luxury and indulgence. Worth every penny!
My only negative is that we didn’t stay here long enough, I really didn’t want to leave.
Lack of gym! Most be in a hotel like this. Especially to attract younger clientele
The hotel, grounds and private lake access are out of this world! Absolutely stunning. A very special place!
Everything was perfect except the breakfasts! The food was nothing in comparison to where you sat to eat it! The first breakfast we ordered from the menu and it was inedible. Seriously. The buffet was just ok. So strange for such a magnificent hotel to be let down by its breakfast!
Villa Cortine Palace Hotel stands on a green hill overlooking the entire peninsula of Sirmione, an exclusive location within the historic center. The villa is surrounded by a park of 5 hectares with oleander bushes, ancient trees, lush palms, romantic sights, majestic fountains and ancient marble statues. From each of the rooms, guests can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake and the park of the villa. The hotel has a private car park, which can be easily accessed by car after making the hotel reservation. The 54 rooms have elegant parquet floors and are decorated with precious carpets and antiques.
Guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet on the terrace overlooking the lake or in the elegant sunny room of the "Ristorante Le Gardenie". The private pier gives direct access to the lake and offers a relaxation area with beach umbrellas and mattresses. Il Molo restaurant is open for lunch or for aperitif, overlooking the lake you can taste grilled specialties or sip creative cocktails. Other services: a heated outdoor pool and a red clay tennis court.
