Pros: Friendliness and cleaniness
Pros: Superfriendly owner, great service, wonderful bedding, nice clean rooms, great breakfast
Pros: Maria is the excellent hostess. Our check-in and check-out procedures were among the best of our experience. Breakfast was really delicious. The hotel is very comfortable and smartly organized.
Cons: Wi-fi in our room could be a bit better
Cons: There's nothing to dislike everything was perfectomundo, the owner Mrs Klein was more than Fein, she was an absolute deeeelight, I wish I could've stayed longer thank you Klein n' fein.
Pros: We stayed here for two nights. The owner is exceptional! The breakfast is fantastic, continental and so much choice. Freshly homemade products and some are sent from the Black Forrest. Even though I am German, the owner speaks fluent English and my family was able to communicate with her
Cons: Rooms are a little bit on the small side but it’s not an issue
Pros: Wonderful welcome and service and super clean. Great breajfast
Cons: We knew room was a small double but double bed was against the wall on one side but didn’t detract from a great small hotel and safe parking at rear
Pros: Exceptional friendly Staff , small but great Breakfast ,they put lots of efforts into all the small details to make the guest feel comfortable . Lovely place, close to the River Rhein which give you the opportunity for a nice walk during the day or a Dinner with view during the night .
Pros: The owner is a very warm, yet professional person, who greets every guest with a handshake. She was present during the breakfast time to make sure everything is OK. The hotel is tip top clean, beds are very comfy, rooms cosy. Breakfast was very rich as for options. Very good quality food - vegetables, fruit, pastry, different kinds of hams and salami, fresh orange juice. The staff was checking if everybody has what they need and refilling the platters all the time.
Cons: I cannot think of one thing we did not like. The only recommendation might be a hairdryer in the bathroom, but that is only something extra I would appreciate.
Pros: Very friendly people, good breakfast
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with very personal service including eggs and coffee made according to your request. Personell was very nice and hotel was right off of the main town square. Beautiful setting in the Ahr valley.
Cons: I wish we could have gotten 1 family room. Instead we ended up with 2 rooms for a family of five (kids 7, 5, and 2). The rooms were very large and we could have easily fit into 1 room with 2 cots set up since our 2 year old was in a travel crib. I booked according to the recommendation from booking.com that we would need 2 rooms, but I wish I would have checked directly with the hotel first. They probably would have accomodated us.
Pros: Owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Pros: Staff was very friendly, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Loved the view of the hills from our room. Highly recommended!
A stay at Hotel Villa Aurora places you in the heart of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, steps from Ahr and 7 minutes by foot from Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: A most perfect hotel. Faultless rooms, staff, pool, parking, restaurant.
Cons: The price...but you get what you pay for
Pros: Need sound proof walls.
Pros: + Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is a very nice quiet town with historical walled keep still intact. + Hotel Aurora is a historical building with rich art nouveau decorations. + It is staffed and managed by members of the family that originally owned the hotel for more than 100 years, who are all very nice people. + It has a very good own cuisine in their restaurant. + Our rooms at the top floor had an amazing view over the town and wine yards. + There's a warm indoor pool, bubble bath and sauna.
Cons: - The room doors are made of very light wood and provide barely any soundproofing for the room. Moreover, the locks on these doors are mechanical and open with very loud clicking sound. You can literally hear a door opening in a room across the corridor.
Pros: Beautiful art noveau hotel, convenient location and very helpful staff. We really enjoyed the pool and spa area, and it was lovely when complimentary tea and coffee was brought down to us there. Good selection of food and drinks for breakfast.
Cons: It’s a shame there were no kettles in the rooms.
Pros: As we were leaving very early in the morning, the hosts were very kind to prepare us the night before a generous bag of sandwiches and drinks for our early trip. It was really appreciated!
Pros: Always our first stop in Germany to relax and start our holiday. Really friendly family run hotel. Great food with a fantastic breakfast buffet and recommend for evening meals and afternoon coffe and cake. Stopped here several times. Bad Neuenahr is a Great base to explore the Ahr region and for day trips up Rhine if you have a car. Hotel has a pool but the spa in the town is very good - lots of others in driving distance (Ie Euskirchen), nice drive to Bad Münstereifel for outlet shopping with a difference. Well worth ditching the plane and catching ferry over with the car.
Cons: no tea and coffee making facilities in bedrooms which seems fairly common in Germany.
Pros: Great breakfast! Lovely room, polite delicate helpful generous owners, romantic ambiance
Cons: Wifi was so so
Pros: Friendly and welcoming
Cons: A bit old
Pros: Wonderful and quality hotel with super great team . They were very sensitive and helpful with my gluten free meals which was really important to me. Always love to be there and looking forward to come back. I highly recommend !

Pros: Parking paid for and EV charging for free!! Honesty bar. Great breakfast with plenty of coffee. Friendly staff.
Pros: Ladies at the hotel are TOP, and so is the hotel, facilities, breakfast, location... thank you, SA
Pros: Easy to find from the autobahn. Great location to the Rhine and great restaurants. Quite at night.
Cons: nothing. All was great.
Pros: Comfy rooms and the breakfast was very good!
Pros: Friendly Staff, Excellent location just outside the old village/walking distance. Very good breakfast.
Pros: Very kind people and good breakfast! Large rooms in centrum of the town.
Pros: A great location next to the old town! A good free parking outside. Nice breakfast.
Cons: They should provide properly shower gel: We got very small bottle for 2 people for 2 nights. Card payment isn't possible.
Pros: Location is very central, and staff were very helpful.
Cons: No tea making facilities in room but soft drinks were available
Pros: Great breakfast , excellent accommodation and great staff
Cons: Not applicable
Located in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Hotel Ännchen Garni is in the historical district, a 5-minute drive from Government Bunker Documentation Site and 7 minutes from Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very simple and clean rooms. Ours had a balcony, which was a bonus. Car parking can be tight, but possible. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Maybe more choices at breakfast. The food offered was lovely, lots of pastries, bread, yogurts, cold meats and cheese. Would be good to have toast. They do offer freshly made scrambled egg and bacon though.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice beds and good breakfast
Cons: Lack of parking
Pros: Staff were very considerate and kind. Place was spotless. Would highly recommend this place!
Pros: breakfast excellent and perfectly situated 5 minutes from center and ideal for exploring the general area
Cons: i liked everything
Cons: Aparthotel am Kurpark, like most accommodation, offers discounts for longer stays. Their tiered discount rates start from 5 night onwards. Therefore for my visit of 5 nights, a discount would have applied had I booked direct with the hotel. Sadly booking.com applied the full rate. If it is booking.com's policy never to apply discounts for longer stays offered by accommodation providers, this will encourage me to contact providers direct to obtain the discounts they offer.
Pros: The room is clean, the window and doors are safety. The breakfast is good, with all the nice delicious cheese, fresh milk, fresh German bread.
Cons: Just a suggestion for improvement to the owner, it would be more comfortable if the hotel provide hot water kettle in the room to boil hot water for our own tea or coffee. Would also more comfortable to have biddet in the bathroom. But it was a very very nice hotel anyway... it is not a minus of this hotel...just a suggestion for improvement. :)

Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: You must realise that we have spent several single nights at this hotel over the past few years. So, we knew what to expect there and were not disappointed in any way. What more could we say?
Cons: Nothing obvious
Pros: Calm and relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Too small assortment of food during brekafast, yet the one which was there, was really good.
Pros: Nice furniture, very comfortable armchairs, easy walk into the lovely old town (about a mile but nice quiet walk). Comfortable bed and our room had bath and separate shower.
Cons: Ground floor room and bathroom window was not opaque so had to have Venetian blind down all the time. Would have preferred more choice of muesli. Curtains had separate linings but were too long and hard to open and close.
Pros: Very big and modern rooms, nice small garden and a good bar open till late. We had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant 150 metres away from the hotel. Hotel is a bit impersonal, but restaurant on the other hand very charming with a good and varied wine selection and proper advise from head waiter. Push out the boat - about 80 Euros plus for a fantastic Spaetburgunder (the local Pinot Noir) from across the street. Breakfast delicious and could be taken in the garden as well.
Located in Bad Breisig, Hotel Zur Mühle is a 5-minute drive from Ahr and 8 minutes from Burg Namedy. Pros: Great location, good food & local wines. Room was standard.
Cons: Loud church bells next door early morning...
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The room we were allocated was nothing like the pictures on booking.com and was smaller than expected. Also we were disappointed that after a long journey there was nowhere in the hotel to sit and have a drink, all tables in restaurant were reserved. Although they had a beer garden it was a bit cool to sit outside. We were eventually given a table but we had to eat in the restaurant.
Pros: Nice room with great restaurant
Cons: bathroom was small but still ok
Pros: Good size room.
Cons: The room we got was not like the pictures, much older and darker.
Pros: Too much noice from the church every hours even in midnight . Beds are not suitable for couples . When hotel is full booked, finding a parking lot is terrible . Breakfast lication and view is nice .
Cons: The rooms are much smaller than you can see in the photos, and in our room has very bad smell from toilet. When we arrived at the hotel this very bad smell in the room and the bathroom ruined us. We discussed this with the hotel reception, but they told us that since the hotel is fully booked, we could not change the room and we endured . this stench until the last day.
Pros: The spacious room, terrace, beer/wine garden , being able to walk down directly to the Ahr. It was a perfect place to be staying with a dog.
Cons: Can't think of anything even the weather was excellent.

Pros: Very friendly and attentive hotel personals, very clean room.
Cons: Room was quite cold, even with heater on.
Pros: Parking Facilties. Wifi. Warm - Good heating. Good Bed. English News available on TV.
Cons: Limited View of Rhein River, Uncomfortable Chairs in Room.
Pros: Beautiful location directly on Rhine. Food excellent, owners spoke excellent English and were very friendly
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but it was extremely hot. Maybe provision of fans might help
Pros: Perfect location with super service.
Pros: Comfortable well proportioned room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Cons: All good
Pros: The view and the room
Pros: The service was good. I liked the restaurant. The view is pretty.
Cons: The card machine wasn't working so I had to do a bank transfer but I am sure that is just a temporary problem.
With a stay at Hotel Kalenborner Hoehe in Kalenborn, you'll be steps from Ahr and a 4-minute drive from Are Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
With a stay at Hotel Mietz in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Ahr and Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: We had a good welcoming. Our room was on the top floor and was very comfy and clean. Everyone was so friendly, always with a Hello and a smile on their faces. You can't top the breakfast. We enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night, shame really. We know we would stay there again. A lovely house, very nice decorated, and goodly run with heart and thought. Thanking you.
Pros: The hotel is charming. It is a family managed hotel and feels like home. Breakfast is excellent and the owner who serves the breakfast is really and truly looking after everyone.
Pros: Nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Bad Neuenahr has som beautiful buildings as a spa town, Ahrweiler is a nice old town surrounded by it's mediavel walls (but on foot it's a 40 minute walk).
Cons: There are some parking spots in the street, parking costs € 4 a day. If you're unlucky and the places are already occupied, maybe you'll have to search a little bit in the heighbourhood as soms streets nearby are pedestrian area.
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Had to pay for parking
Pros: Just an all round friendly uncomplicated stay Breakfast was wonderful A place I would recommend and a place I would return to any time again:)
Pros: Small family-run place with very friendly hosts.
Cons: Pillows to soft
A stay at Steigenberger Bad Neuenahr places you in the heart of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, steps from Ahr and 5 minutes by foot from Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler? This hotel has facilities measuring 23390 square feet (2173 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Cons: unpolite welcome at the reception upon arrival the parking was not available needed to go a paid city parking the carpets in the hallway are extremely dirty in the morning at 0700hrs construction works started right outside the hotel. demolishing an old building directly outside the window.
Pros: Very nice and beautiful classic hotel in Bad Neuenahr. The hotel is well positioned near Ahr Thermen and for the guests of the hotel, there is a discount to enter the SPA center (you can buy tickets at the hotel reception). It's also near to all nice restaurants and coffee places (with the best German cakes ;-)). The breakfast was excellent, they even serve bubbles. Our family room was big, with huge bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Definitely would like to stay here again!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: Beautiful little village, delightful location, great hotel. Breakfast was quite nice - incredibly large selection. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking along the river path, accessible to many restaurants, and easy walk to the train station. Easy access to parking as well. I appreciated the city pass cards that gave us access to the train.
Cons: Don't allow smokers to stand directly outside the hotel doors and smoke. It filled the entire lobby with the smell and was nauseating. It would have been nice to have the pool available but understood this is under construction. I did not like the lack of a gym. The 'gym' was actually not owned by the hotel and shared with the medical facility next door. The hours were not flexible.
Pros: Perfekt Location to come down after a hard workday.Friendly, calm, touch of luxury...
Cons: Currently a part of the Hotel is closed, ... men@work, renovation.
Pros: The rooms are updated and very clean though a bit small. Considering the location and the amazing buffet overall its a good value. Downside: the pool was under construction. Staff are nice but could be more friendly.
Cons: The pool was under construction.
Pros: The hotel is nicely located, was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is nice, but again, expensive
Cons: The staff were a little cold, but that might have been a language barrier thing. I didn't find them very friendly. The hotel is very expensive, but beautiful. Not sure I would stay there again for the price we paid.
Pros: Very impressive hotel. Spacious and clean The breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Excellent buffet breakfast with fresh pancake maker and good cappuccino...
Cons: Room smelt of damp - paint on wood door to balcony still blistered from water ingress. Shower and bathroom sink water pressure very low. Room not available before 3pm. Net curtain hooks broken so nets hanging half down. Carpet hardly hoovered. Spider webs round ceiling. Not impressed, Steigenberger.
With a stay at Hotel zum Anker in Andernach, you'll be 6.1 mi (9.9 km) from Neuwied Castle and 12.5 mi (20.1 km) from Deutsches Eck. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly staff great location good rooms.
Pros: Very nice located. Room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast ok. Price - Quality relation ok.
Cons: Rather old fashioned. No refrigerator in the room
Cons: The room was ok, but it would better if to do some refreshments. The breakfast was not good. Variety was small and food was not fresh. The cheese had become moldy.
Pros: Good location, close to Geiser Centre, friendly staff, good breakfast for the price, clean room
Pros: Location, could use their garage to park my bike safely.
Pros: Location, Hotel overall appearance, Price
Pros: When I booked it for a very reasonable price, I expected this to be sort of a ho hum hotel that gets by with limited maintenance and effort. However, nothing could be further from the truth. This property is extremely well managed and immaculately maintained. It has all the modern touches within a historical edifice. There is not a flaw to be found anywhere. The breakfast is very good. The location couldn't be better - out the front door and a few steps to the river - visit the old town by walking in the other direction. I can highly recommend.
Cons: Really hard to find ways to improve here
Located directly on the promenade, this traditional hotel is less than 20 metres from the River Rhine’s harbor. An Italian restaurant, sun terrace and spacious rooms with free WiFi are offered here. The 3-star Hotel Vater Rhein is set in a traditional timber-framed building and features bright rooms with solid pinewood furniture. Some rooms offer views of the river, and bathrobes can be ordered on request. Italian specialities, ice creams and homemade cakes can all be enjoyed in Hotel Vater Rhein’s inviting restaurant. A hearty buffet breakfast is served daily in the conservatory. Hotel Vater Rhein’s riverside location makes it the ideal base for exploring the Rhine and surrounding countryside. Free on-site parking is available at Hotel Vater Rhein. Bad Breisig Train Station is 1 km away.
Pros: Excellent position, right on the river. Our room overlooked the Rhine. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, secure bike parking. Good breakfast.
Cons: Couldn't fault it
Pros: Beautiful riverside hotel. Nice walks, nice meal!
Cons: Very nice friendly helpful people ..very good secure storage for bicycles. Nice view..very very clean. AND the food is so unbelievably good..it is the very best food we have had in Germany..the spaghetti bolognese is the best I have ever had..and the Schnitzel with mushrooms sauce is excellent..and the prices are very good..We will stay here again and eat the great food.
Pros: Got a room with two windows overlooking the Rhine. Wonderful. Spacious and traditional. Choice of restaurants on hand.
Cons: Rather old fashioned decor inside hotel.
Pros: Stayed here for second year running, for one night, while visiting local Christmas market as it is a very clean comfortable hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. Great location with good parking. Beautiful view from restaurant over the Rhine which was nice watching the big boats pass while enjoying our relaxing breakfast (good coffee). Very attentive and friendly host (though little English spoken). Hope to stay again next year.
Cons: All good to very good.
Cons: When I arrived at 19.30 on monday, the hotel was closed, and no lights on. They refused to refund the money. I should have phoned they said, so they could come down.
With a stay at Hotel am Rossberg in Altenahr, you'll be steps from Ahr and a 4-minute drive from Are Castle. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quiet close to the town of Altenahr by car and right next to the Sommerrodellbahn. If you have children it is likely to be a perfect base with horse riding, karting, animals and the rodellbahn literally on your doorstep. Lovely breakfasts. Dog friendly.
Pros: The hotel was amazingly clean and the hotel staff was super friendly and helpful ( the receptionist advised us on everything - from where to go and what to visit). The location of the hotel is great: there is animal park nearby and spectacular view on the nature. Also possibility to rent go-cars.
Pros: Breakfast was good and fresh. Eggs and omelettes were prepared just before the breakfast session started at 8 a.m. as it was a Saturday. There was enough bread and meat and cheese but also fruit and muesli + yogurt. It was clearly a man only hotel this weekend due to the location close to the Nürburgring with the Oldtimer Grand Prix going on. But it is also adjacent to the 'rodel'track which starts from the same parking area. Location is quite central in the Eifel with the historic center of Altenahr close by. Enough parking and very quiet even though the road is nearby but on an elevated level. Rooms were quite spacious and the bed was good. They offer drinks from the refrigerator in the lobby which you can pay the day after.
Cons: There was not much going on here. No restaurant that was open, no manned reception after 7 p.m. and not many facilities apart from an old fashioned decorated bedroom. There is also no elevator and as the reception is already one story high and the bedrooms another story up this is not very easy for people with a handicap.
Pros: Easy to reach by car. Close to hiking trails. Quiet at night. Beverages available at fair prices. Personal is very helpful.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is rather small, gets very crammed when more than two persons try to get food.
With a stay at SETA Hotel in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, you'll be on the waterfront, just a 1-minute walk from Ahr and 6 minutes by foot from Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler? This hotel has facilities measuring 7535 square feet (700 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was super.
Cons: We stayed in an old room with a view on a wall. The door handle, shower rod and shower faucet were broke and there was also a strange hole in the bathroom that was fixed with adhesive tape. These are things that we don’t expect in a 4-star hotel. When we mentioned it to the receptionist when cheking out she just said “ es tut mir leid”. Maybe she could have offered us a drink before leaving for the unconvenience. I find it really a pitty that you pay the same price for an old as for a new room. The welness was old too and due to that wasn’t really clean.
Pros: Very nice and efficient reception. The breakfast was amazing, perfection. The girl really did everything to give you a comfortable start of the day.
Cons: Too bad there was no airconditioning. At night it was 25 degrees in my room. Swimming pool very small, but still nice for the price of this hotel
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location, close to the Kurhaus and thermal bath.
Cons: The wash basin was in the room.
Pros: Modern and comfortable, great breakfast and nice bar
Cons: The location was not quite as good as I had imagined
Pros: All was very good and very friendly. Good breakfast.
Cons: It was a hot day, air coditio system was too noisy, but in the evening it was not so hot anymore and we slept with opened windows.
Pros: Very good quality and well organized!
Cons: Lack of parking
Pros: Good breakfast Good location
Cons: No coffee, no safety deposit box in the room
Pros: Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with the perfect breakfast! The dinner we had in the Hotel restaurant was very good! Highly recommended!
Cons: The only downside was the swimming pool which was not working at that day.
With a stay at Hotel Ahrbella in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Ahr and 10 minutes by foot from Ahr-Thermen Bad Neuenahr. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The old details in the building and the interior from the restaurant where nice
Cons: The bathroom was looking cheap and had no style. Also the hotel was in 2 buildings. So when you wanted to go to the resection you had to go outside to the other building. And that is the reason that I thought that it was to expensive for what you get.
Cons: Reception was in manned at most times owner was very rude.
Pros: Very central across the train station. Great, kind and professional owner. Very nice breakfast area. Room was nice and clean.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Only continental breakfast
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: We booked 2 rooms, they were on the ground floor which was nice because we didn’t want to take the stairs. Unfortunately in one of the rooms the bathroom was downstairs!!!!, you had to take a spiral staircase. Our children stayed in that room with which I really wasn’t happy because I was afraid if they had to go to the bathroom during the night, they would fall down the stairs. The size of that room was ok but ours was very small, it didn’t look at all like the ones posted on the net.And there wasn’t any mention of a room with a bathroom downstairs. At check-in we received four guest cards which entitles you to several discounts in the city but they didn’t tell us that they would charge us for that( I found that out at check-out) but they were only supposed to charge guests who were over 18 but our children(14 and 16) were also charged.
