Pros: Large room with a lovely sitting area and thoughtfully laid out. Victorian antique furniture but not cluttered.
Cons: Breakfasts are a set dish so if you have any preferences, best to make them known in advance. One member of staff was very tense and blaming others for a minor oversight (no fresh milk in the fridge). In slight need of a coat of paint on the front but otherwise delightful place tucked off the main drag.
Cons: Great staff there to help and give you ideas. Breakfast was well done and willing to make it personal.
Pros: The front desk service was fantastic , the atmosphere was very Zen. the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The bed had a dip in the mattress on the one side, could be replaced.
Pros: The building is excellent. It is designed to look like a much older building n the late 19th century. But it is all first class. The staff are lovely. It is so quiet, yet walkable, even with a cane, to many fine restaurants. Excellent free parking. And the breakfasts- wonderful. Like fine dining. It's all so pretty, each room. We will be back, guaranteed.
Cons: The owner could install a bar in the shower and a bar by the toilet. Just small ones but so helpful to the older clientele. Leaving was the hard part. I wanted to stay longer.
Just a 5-minute drive from Victoria International Airport and 2 blocks from the Salish Sea, this property features suites with full kitchens. It offers sailing, kayaking, and fishing trips. Each homey suite at the Corbett Guest House has a private deck and a living area with sofas, cable TV, and a DVD player. An iPod docking station is also provided. Guests can explore the city with free bicycle rentals. Free shuttle service to and from the airport is available. Free kayak use is available to all guests. A sailing tour is available. The Shaw Ocean Discovery Center Aquarium and the Port Sidney Marina are less than a 10-minute walk from the Corbett Guest House.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay here. It is one of the cleanest places I've stayed. There is literally everything you need at the house. It was a very short walk into town. There is a pet store and health food store within 5-10 mins walk from the house. Sidney is a cool little town with good places to eat and fantastic views. It's about a half hour drive away from Victoria so it doesn't have the crowds and traffic of the big city.
Cons: If I had to pick something I didn't really like it would be that the bedroom has big windows so the morning sun woke us up before we wanted to be up. Some people like that though. So it's just my opinion. It is a great place to stay and I would stay again.
Pros: Beds comfy
Cons: No concerns
Pros: Great facilities in a great location. There was outside living space as well. And, sporting equipment. Check-in was very easy.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Pros: Great location in Sidney, close to water , restaurants and shops.
Pros: Everything was perfect, and the suite met our expections and even more.
Pros: Very nice, quiet, warm, clean place to stay in Sydney. Walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed it!
Pros: Love the location, beautiful sea walk close by, outstanding accommodation, very comfortable.
Cons: Loved everything
Pros: Loved the location. Walked to everything- the water, shops, etc. Had bikes with helmets and kayaks to borrow for no charge. The kitchen felt like home as there were lots of unexpected things to use like olive oil, and some goodies in the fridge. Even milk for coffee etc. beds were super comfortable. We stayed in the Eagles Landing Suite for two nights.
Cons: Nothing was missing. It was really a wonderful place to stay and Darren was great. He gave us a free ride back to the ferry. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend the Corbett Guest House if you want to stay in the quaint, lovely town of Sidney.

Pros: The view is beautiful and it's very quiet I would recommend this hotel
Cons: Not much to complain about I do find it a bit ridiculous that you have to pay $5 a night to park in their underground parking
Pros: Great exceptional service and facilities
Pros: GEM OF A FIND!!!
Cons: Stairs do not lead to lobby
Pros: The location. First time in Sindney and love this little town. This hotel is in the best spot. Right in the middle of all the action and beautiful nature. Love the coffee shop and restaurant being conveniently located right downstairs.
Cons: We enjoyed our stay. Have nothing bad to say. If I could change one thing it would be the matress. (Little too soft)

Pros: Exceptional. Homely with everything you could possibly want. Wish we had more time there So spacious and friendly too.
Pros: It was peaceful and a very enjoyable place
Pros: Everything! This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. AMAZING views. Ken and Linda were lovely. Breakfast was ready for us at the time we chose and there were fresh baked scones and muffins, eggs, etc. The kayaks were free to use and made the stay lots of fun. The kitchenette was great, exactly what we needed. We literally didn’t want to leave! LOVED IT
Pros: Thé view was spectacular, facilities great and the breakfast served in the morning was delicious.
Pros: Ken and Linda are wonderful.
Cons: The weather.
Pros: The breakfasts were delivered to my door every morning. Each one was different and delicious.
The Sidney Waterfront Inn provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.
Pros: over the past few year my wife and i have stayed about twice a year.
Pros: We traveled through Christmas with our small dog and three adults. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. There were a number of dogs staying and it was a delight to not feel nervous or apologetic about having our dog with us. There were treats at the front counter, there's a free breakfast with healthy options. This is not the first time I've stayed at Sidney Waterfront, and this visit was as seamless and comfortable as the last! Highly recommend!
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: The breakfast was minimal. Not that we cared. But that was the only down side. the room dark and the food not varied.
Pros: Great value for the location. Clean and comfy!
Cons: The towels could be a little fluffier. I'd stay again!
Pros: Close to airport and location on waterfront, very attractive
Cons: Room was dark, seemed like a basement suite.
Pros: Their staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was really clean.
Cons: Breakfast could use more variety and a larger room.
Pros: i was a bit disappointed with our room. we paid extra for an "ocean view" and it was mostly a parking lot view. the room smelled weird and the pictures online didn't reflect the decor. overall i wouldn't choose to stay here again but i didn't have a horrible experience.
Cons: room smelled funny
Pros: Location to the waterfront and good restaurants.
Pros: Location and the view from the 2nd floor facing the water was awesome
Cons: The bed wasn't very good
Pros: I ended up staying two days because of snowy conditions. I chose this location because it was reasonably priced and accepted my 10 lb Yorkie. The staff were amazing: so friendly and helpful. I had to change rooms after my first one night booking. They made the process easy. I was traveling with an oversized suitcase I did not need access to so they agreed to store it downstairs for me as there was no elevator and I saw no need to haul it upstairs. The location is superb and the water views spectacular. I would stay here again.
Cons: If you are elderly and need an elevator then request a lower level room to avoid stairs. The charm of this place compensated for the lack of an elevator.

Pros: The rom was clean
Cons: I book on last minute on line and Price on website was low, and They charge more when arrive to the property. Not happy with that but not many options at that time because it’s was 10:00 pm and we’re tired
Pros: Good location. Gift for dog
Cons: All dog owners were in same area. We heard dogs barking.
Pros: Did not take advantage of the breakfast as we had to catch early a.m. flight home to the States. Loved the convenience of checking in and the proximity to area restaurants and sights to visit in our short time with you. Loved the experience completely and will stay with you if we return to the area.
Pros: Clean and allowed early checkin
Cons: Smith's restaurant closed a night?
Pros: Location. Pet friendly.
Cons: Very soft mattress and uncomfortable side chairs.
Pros: It was beautiful and our room was very nice. The staff was amazing.

Cons: No view from room, but a pleasant walk across the street along the bay.
Pros: Location. View. Landscaping...beautiful! Rooms very clean! Good coffee! Appreciate the fridge. Staff very helpful & pleasant. :)
Cons: Dcor is 1970's. Needs to be updated...colours...curtains, bedding, walls & carpet. That said...it was very clean! Hair dryers could be added.
Cons: No hairdryer!
Pros: Friendly host. Large, clean and quiet room.
Pros: Beautiful new room. Lovely location.
Pros: No breakfast was provided.
Cons: Didn't like the fact the booking was non-refundable for cancellation.
Pros: Customer Service
Pros: Our usual place to stay when visiting Victoria area! Great location and friendly staff...working on updating their rooms ..nice!
Pros: The location was excellent, we also were upgraded to a private cottage because the room we were supposed to stay in was being worked on. We had a ocean view which I wasn't expecting in the cottage. The cottage was very cute inside with a full kitchen (open concept also) and a king size bed in the bedroom. The bathroom vanity had iron work around the mirror for decoration which held frosted lights upright with a decorative light bulb inside. Also pets were allowed. The entire cottage was made of cedar so it smelled like cedar lightly.
Cons: The bathroom was separated from the from the vanity (no sink or mirror) and the fan was way too loud (you couldn't shut it off when you turned on the light.
Pros: Coming in quite late, I just needed a place for the night, and it served quite well. It's a bit dated in decor, but very spacious. The gardens are lovely.
Cons: No air conditioning so had to keep window open. Directly under flight path for airport and thus very noisy. Bed needed upgrading as was very lumpy. Room was directly under light by stairs and thus couldn't be darkened properly.
Pros: Great location and cute enough rooms.
Cons: It could be an amazing place but wow the beds need an upgrade. My back was killing me after 2 nights and when I asked for a foamy they just gave me a blanket. Very unsoundproof rooms. Bring earplugs because you can hear everything.

Pros: Allting was good .
Cons: This hotel is very beautiful so hotel owner is very hospitality.we thanks from him .
Pros: The hostess was very welcoming & accomodated my early morning departure by making breakfast a little early The breakfast was delicious & artistically presented
Cons: I found the decor a little heavy on antiques & garden on entry driveway was dry with dead plants which made it seem a bit run down. My room was a bit dark but clean, comfortable and perfect for a one night stay & equick access to airport
Pros: Our host was very helpful in giving us ideas of ways to see the area. Breakfast was amazing!!! And such a beautiful presentation! She also had tableware, microwave and refrigerator in the room for personal use.
Cons: The room could have used more lighting. Bathroom a bit small.
Pros: We enjoyed the location
Cons: Didn’t like the filthy carpet, the filthy windows, someone else’s toothpaste smears on the bathroom counter and dirty bathroom taps. Rusty metal blinds and mouldy window sills. You could write your name in the dust on the furniture. This place really needs a proper cleaning.
Pros: Everything was excellent. We would definitely come back again.
Cons: It was beyond our expectations
Pros: The house was comfy and the inn keeper Wendy was very friendly and knowledgable...the room was complete with a fridge and microwave and dishes...the property had a lovely garden/sitting area to enjoy...you could walk across the street to get some beautiful ocean views...the continental breakfast was very delicious and I had it brought to my room in the morning as requested
Cons: my room unfortunately backed to the Hwy so it was a little noisy...the toilet was very close to the sink in the bathroom (a little crowded)...the toilet seat was not properly cleaned and there was hair on the floor of the bathroom (a very clean bathroom is a must for my vacation stay)
Pros: Perfect location after flying into Victoria International Airport, and leaving 24 hours later on a ferry from Sidney. Wonderful host who gave us excellent recommendations on where to beach walk and hike, and where to eat. Also excellent breakfast, absolutely fantastic, and a lovely comfortable spot. The bed was the best!
Cons: There was nothing to not like! Only a minor suggestion, orange juice with the breakfast would be lovely.
