Pros: Everything! The location, the staff, the room . The receptionist was lovely. Very good choices for breakfast , sooo tasty! The staff was so welcoming and warmth! A great start for your day. The bedroom! So unique and cute! I felt like a queen. the bed and duvet.... sooo comfy! I could have stayed in bed all day just to enjoy being in a cloud of cosiness. The location is amazing, you can walk downtown and go to a park so easily. I recommend this place 100% ! A real gem
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was lovely. Also very nice to be able to eat outside. The staff was exceptional.
Cons: My WIFI was not reliable, had to be rebooted every day. The mattress on my bed is aging and should be replaced to allow customers to make their own indentations!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Plate of appies and the cookies when we arrived was appreciated . Breakfast was superb! Room was very clean.
Cons: A bit tricky to find because of street configurations. Parking was a problem. I had my pickup truck and it did not fit in the parking lot.

Pros: Beautiful ornate rooms and common areas, without feeling old fashioned. Clean and well kept. Service all around was top notch. Catered to our needs, friendly and communicative without being intrusive. Perfect! Location is fantastic, just minutes from downtown, parliament, the water, Cook St. Village and Dallas Road walkway.

Pros: Great breakfast, helpful staff
Cons: Sink in room not in bathroom) had no space for anything.

Pros: Great Location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: View was lovely. The little pleasures like loccitaine soaps and lotions, a Dyson hairdryer, and nespresso machine! And of course very central to restaurants and sights.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The rooms are big and very clean. The hotel staff is very processional.
Cons: The hotel restaurent is a complete rip off, the plates are not worth the money that they are charging you.

Pros: Rooms are nice, modern. Beds/bedding comfy. Big bathroom, tub. Front desk really helpful. I didn't hear noise from other guests, but it was mid-week, so that might be a factor. Turn down service.
Cons: Continental breakfast wasn't included.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was so delicious
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location is excellent. Sitting on the balcony 2 feet above the water and having an harbour seal slip right below us was incredible. Breakfast was very good. Property was immaculate and our host, Carene, pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The bed frame has hard corners that extend outwards an inch or two. The space between the bed and walls is tight, so it's easy to hit ones toes while navigating around the bed. Little toe bruised but otherwise ok. Bed itself is comfortable.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Perfect location! Host super nice gave us great food recommendations. Breakfast at Imagine cafe is just perfect!
Cons: Mini fridge in the room gets loud at night and owners live upstairs so you might hear footsteps while trying to sleep... Things to consider if you have light sleep but other than that, the place is wonderful!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Carene was absolutely a gem! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Location of b&b was perfect and parking was provided. Breakfast at Imagine studio cafe was amazing! Awesome breakfast sandwich and french toast! Pastries and baked goods are just scrumptious!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The first day we arrived is a windy day but didn't feel too much wave. Quiet and safe area after business hour. It's wonderful to start a day by having coffee on the balcony 2 feet above the water. Room is clean and the bed is soft and warm. Breakfast is provided by Imagine Studio Café which's super.
Cons: Owner lives upstairs so sometimes can hear the foot steps but between 10PM~7:30AM they are absolutely quiet.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: A unique and comfortable B&B. One could be fooled that you’re on a house boat until sitting on the balcony only a few feet above the ocean. The location is ideal for visiting Victoria. We walked everywhere. Carene is an experienced hostess and provided excellent recommendations for local eateries.
Cons: At times there was some noise from upstairs as well as renovations on the house boat across the water.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Exactly as advertised. Really relaxing stay. Breakfast was amazing!!!
Good 7,0
Pros: It was right in Fisherman’s Wharf, but it is a 20-30 minute walk to the inner harbour and the Empress Hotel. We were offered a voucher for a nearby restaurant for breakfast but the restaurant was closed the first day and we had to leave before it opened the second day to catch the ferry so we never received any breakfast. The coffee shop that was suggested as an alternative has reduced hours and did not open until 10. The view is of the houseboats next door. The tv upstairs was quite loud one night. It was a novelty to stay on a houseboat but is probably overpriced given the breakfast situation.
Cons: A bit pricy given that there are none of the amenities of a typical hotel (restaurant, pool, gym, etc.).

Pros: Excellent location, super clean, easy parking, complementary snacks
Good 7,5
Pros: Walking distance to Victoria downtown. Quaint & would have liked to spend more time there. Thanks.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wow - a beautiful boutique hotel that far exceeded expectation and value for money. Quaint and cozy a unique loft bedroom (may have to request a different one next time!) to see what else they have. Beautiful and will stay again!
Cons: Bad knees and midnight bathroom needs make the loft a bit less convenient but that’s just me - I have nothing bad to say about this lovely welcoming space!!
Excellent 8,8
Pros: A beautiful oasis for relaxation and getting away from it all. All the carefully chosen furnishings make you feel Pampered and like you are at a 5 star hotel.
Cons: Parking was tricky although I was able To find some street parking
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Free parking. Super clean.
Cons: None
Excellent 10,0

Cons: Nothing.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: We had a great time staying here. The place itself is very beautiful and taken good care of. The host was very helpful and provided important information on places to see in Victoria. We were very happy with the breakfast and the location of the place - the legislative building is just 10 minutes walk away
Cons: Not applicable :)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The home was lovely and our room was great. Very clean and homey. Jennifer was a great host and breakfast was delicious. The only inconvenience was having to take our shoes off when entering.
Cons: Having to take our shoes off when coming inside.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Jen was super accommodating, from helping with arrival (and luggage storage prior to checking in and after checking out) and helpful tips on Victoria. Room was comfy, and as some have said, the bathroom is across the hall, but that was no issue for us. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about their travels! Highly recommend and Thanks, Jen!
Cons: Unfortunately, we only booked one night! There is so much to see and do, we could have spent at least another day.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic! J is a fabulous, skilled hostess --
Cons: That I had to go home!!!
Mediocre 3,8
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Told on arrival to take shoes off at front door, very unwelcoming and not possible due to foot injury. We booked a triple room and expected it to sleep 3 persons I.e. have a double/king bed and a single bed. It only had one king bed so was described inaccurately. Bathroom and toilet were across the hallway and was not en-suite. This was not pre described in booking .com. We would not have booked it had we known. Owner was unfriendly and refused to provide breakfast at any time other than 8:30. There was no choice of food at breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The comfiest bed we've ever slept in... spotlessly clean and friendly welcoming host. If we visit Victoria again Fisher House will definitely be our first choice

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the period ambience. The breakfasts were gorgeous. The staff were VERY welcoming and helpful. The room was magnificent - spacious, high ceilings, fabulous view. It had aircon as well.
Cons: The only thing was the stairs but that was more a personal post-operative thing.
Good 7,0
Pros: This hotel was beautiful, clean and the breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The room was super expensive for one night stay ! With the charges and tax I paid 400$ for one night in a normal room !
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Too expensive for a night
Okay 4,0
Pros: The House was beautiful as well as the garden. The room was clean and specious, the bed comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast was tasty and good quality as well as the atmosphere but the way they presented it to the guest is embarrassing. The restaurant was open for public as well. Outside guests who came for the breakfast had the pleasure of ordering their meal from their table like in any restaurant we visited in Victoria during our stay, but not the gust of Pendray inn. When we came for the breakfast, we were asked to order our breakfast preference in the Hollway in front of the service desk and then were seated to the table. On top of that we were asked for 15 % service charge for already included breakfast with our room. Placed in the Acquard situation we did paid for the requested service for the first day of our stay but choose not to pay for our second day. For the noted optional service, we were then asked to sign for our decision. I've never experienced this kind of situation in any hotel or B & B with already included meal. Wifi was pretty slow. Long half hour wait for check in Offer your guests total desired price and spare us with " optional tip " masquerade.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Pet friendly
Good 7,0
Pros: The restaurant vouchers for beer flight and truffles and the breakfast. Made the high price feel a bit justified.
Cons: I was disappointed with the advertised soaker tub. It was a basic bathtub with jets. I was disappointed that booking.com didn't have photos of the rooms that corresponded with the room number booked. We were also promised champagne as it was our anniversary and we did not receive any.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast and location were amazing!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: What an amazing spot! I've always wanted to visit Spinnakers and can't believe haven't until now. Loved the special included extras (welcome flight of Spinnaker's beers & homemade chocolates at night in the pub and delicious full breakfast menu offerings in the morning brought to our room.) Our suite was so bright, spacious and comfy with ocean views all round.
Cons: No complaints at all :)
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, service was also amazing. Will be coming again soon
Cons: I was a little disappointed in the pictures shown to the room we got. There was not even a mini fridge or microwave. However the service and employees made up for that rather easily.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Fully enclosed yard for my two dogs! It's not always easy to have a staycation anywhere with dogs, so this was just fabulous. We had our own space, and they had their own space, lol 💓 Secondly, the bed! what a great bed, comfort deluxe 👍👍👍
Cons: The scones run out too quickly 😋😇
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Awesome place, we love it. Old heritage house with character. Staff are wonderful. Location is perfect. Food is wonderful too. Love the breakfast, the view, and when we couldn’t make breakfast times for medical reasons, they swapped for lunch with no problems. Our second, but definitely not our last visit.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Wonderful location and the breakfast was fabulous ....great variety of food and presentation......friendly and helpful staff......super clean room and bathroom
Cons: Can't think of anything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location is right next to the Parlament! And a short walking distance from the centre plenty of shops and restaurants. Breakfast is great, including fresh fruit salad, eggs, waffles, muffins, cereals, bacon or ham, yogurt, hash browns, juices, coffee machine, etc. The staff did the most they could to accomodate our bikes as we didn't plan to use it during those 2 days, many thanks for that, you made our stay so easy. Also they are dog friendly so even our 4 legs buddy had a great time. There is Ice availble all the time for free. Beds and pillows super confortable. Definitelly we'll stay again here in our next trip to Victoria!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was clean, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was very nice, although could use a bit more variety, like they usually have in Europe.
Cons: No body soap was provided, only hand soap and shampoo. Not too big of a deal, I washed my body with the shampoo :)
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast buffet is the best with a large choice.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great breakfast spread, well renovated bathrooms, friendly, accommodating staff
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great location, good breakfast selection. The covid protocol is really good, clean hotel as well. Worth it to stay in this hotel!
Excellent 9,1
Pros: We had a huge corner room with great views and tons of room. Super convenient to the ferry and walkable to all of downtown Victoria. really comfortable bed, nice amenities, nice staff
Cons: The adjoining motel hasn’t been remodeled and looks pretty sketch - glad we were not in that wing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the breakfast was delicious and the shower was very nice . and the Christmas decoration on the street was so beautiful
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff friendly and professional. Very quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Tiny parking spaces in lot. Low clearance in underground lot.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Location Friendly staff Breakfast Clean. Good value for the superb local
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Enjoyed being on the 4th floor with high ceilings and skylight
Cons: Scrambled eggs were kind of bland Maybe some variety of sauces to spice them up a bit
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: One of the breakfast staff was rude. He took breakfast a little too seriously.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the best breakfast and dining place I've ever been too. Very clean and best supervised. Food is always replenished. Never ran out. Definitely will comeback. Best location. Staff very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Being able to park the car and have a base to explore Victoria on foot. The savings allowed us to have a spa day and afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel. The breakfast buffet had good variety and well attended.
Cons: The pool area should have some lounge chairs and a bit more privacy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We really liked the location of the hotel. Close to everything we wanted to go to or see. Free breakfast and ample free parking too was a plus.
Cons: The closet was only about a foot from the side of the bed. It made it hard to get in to. But all the plusses of the hotel made it insignificant.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Absolutely everything about our stay was incredible! The building and the room itself is gorgeous and romantic. We loved having a soaker tub right in our room! We were welcomed with a beautiful happy anniversary tray and card. The breakfast was AMAZING. The staff is so friendly and warm and the location is perfect! We would definitely recommend this b&b to anyone! Just fantastic!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: One more nightstand
Excellent 9,0
Pros: excellent location, comfortable beds, quiet day and night, good breakfast, good wifi; checks every box, would stay again
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Marketa and her team are very friendly and warm and have created a lovely ambiance in a beautiful old house. We looked forward to breakfast every morning where we were always greeted with a smile. The location was excellent for us because it was close to the main part of downtown where all the attractions are yet on a quiet leafy street. I loved that I go could go for a nice long run along the shore every morning.
Cons: I would have liked a mini fridge to keep cold drinks for this very warm summer we are currently experiencing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We felt so welcome. Everything was explained in detail. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us with space in the fridge for our perishables, they made sure we knew the balcony could be used at any time, in short, the answer to our questions and requests was always “yes.” Most importantly, we felt the staff and Marketa herself were genuinely happy we were their guests.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The host was very pleasant. The breakfast was superb.
Cons: A little hot inside, but considering the temperature outside was at its record high, it's understandable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful old house. Well kept. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was really nice to relax in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. :)
Cons: We were having an incredible heatwave. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen once in awhile. For such an established place I think they were slightly underprepared for the heat. It was difficult to sleep. But really, this is a very small complaint. They had fans and did their best. I can't really even call this a complaint. I had a wonderful time there.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Breakfast was delicious. Marketa is very nice The place very nice The location is excellent
Cons: I Had room with a transparent shower cabin buy I went with my 16 years boy. Is good for a couple.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast is perfect, giving me the best beginning moment of each day of my stay. Staff are nice and friendly. Great location.
Cons: Sorry, I have nothing to complain.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent Breakfast, perfect location to downtown. Very clean . Excellent staff .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Such a beautifully kept old heritage home for a quiet stay within walking distance of the downtown core. I stayed in the Emily Carr room, which was roomy, well kept and comfortable (had a great sleep). So quiet - I felt as though I were the only person there most of the time! (Maybe I was!) Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Delicious two course meal served in the lovely dining area with fresh coffee and orange juice! Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: The only thing I would have liked would have been to have a small coffee maker in my room. I think it's usually available in the sitting area downstairs but maybe wasn't because of Covid? Anyways, small thing, and it wouldn't deter me from staying there again!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The entire building and location are lovely. The breakfast was beautifully presented. The bed was terrific!
Cons: The Emily Carr Room was gorgeous and large but the chairs need to be reupholstered. They are quite uncomfortable.
Good 6,0
Pros: The Parlour Room on the ground floor was very pleasant. Wooden floors can be kept much cleaner than the older carpets on the upper floors. The breakfast was tasty but rather standard considering the high price for accommodation.
Cons: The refillable glass bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were nasty, they left us both feeling very itchy - almost ‘dollar shop’ quality! Serving curdled milk at breakfast was horrible, obviously past the sell by date! We visit Victoria monthly and enjoy staying in heritage B&B’s we thought that we would try Beaconsfield Bed and Breakfast again but we’re not sure if we will return.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The elevator was really neat!
Cons: No complaints!
Okay 5,0
Pros: Meal selection wasn't great and a bit pricey for what we got. Also they messed up the orders but that was the kitchen and not the server who was good. Also one of the front desk servers was somewhat arrogant when asked a question
Cons: Lack of facilities
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The location was fantastic & it was high end.
Cons: The hotel restaurant & bar were very expensive. 7 dollars for a cup of coffee.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great: -location - staff were helpful and friendly, has bell hop - beautiful walk at night, parliament buildings are also lit up and the harbour just gorgeous - room was clean, newly renovated, balcony, coffee/ tea area with counter top and fridge - elevator had window with great view of harbour Definitely recommend and will stay again and again. We took the public transit in from the ferry and hotel was on the one side of the parliament building, bus stop on the other side. So close!!
Cons: My only regret was we didn’t stay one or two more nights to try the restaurant, the pool and sauna.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Did not have breakfast but sure it was good:) Location was perfect!
Cons: I thought when I booked that we had water view but did not. Hotel was very accommodating to switch us but also cost us an extra 90$ a day.

Pros: Extremely attractive hotel with perfect location by the waterfront. Easy walking distance all over town. We enjoyed our room overlooking the harbor. Gracious, helpful staff. We were happy with the Courtyard Cafe, which provided good sandwiches, coffee, and dessert for low-key suppers. Island Time Tours, booking right there in the Grand Pacific, took us to Butchart Gardens and picked us up again at our requested time. What a very nice arrangement. When it was time to leave Victoria, we chose the Victoria Airport YYJ Shuttle as more economical than a taxi. The Shuttle arrived at the front door and delivered us to the airport comfortably and in good time. We were happy in every way with our four nights at the Grand Pacific and would gladly stay there again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: super close to everything tourists do
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Staff was great and very helpful suggesting restaurants and activities. We were able to arrange A late checkout and keep our car parked. The location was excellent and there are a lot of nearby restaurants. We had a great time.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location couldn’t be better! Only a block away from government buildings and two blocks from the harbour! Also a nice quiet street! The reception staff were exceptional and went out their way to accommodate our wishes. Great pool and hot tub and indoor table games for rainy days!! We will be there again👏
Cons: It was all perfect.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very close to everything
Cons: Had to pay for parking. Didn’t know about that
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We have a dog and the attraction of the Royal Scot is that they allow dogs to stay at their premises. The surprise was that we were upgraded to a suite and it allow us to enjoy more space and to feel like we were i more of a “home” environment.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Hotel close to all attractions in Victoria and easy walking. Parking in hotel grounds. Staff welcoming, cheerful, professional and very helpful. Hotel clean, smart and light. Room large, bright with balcony and large amount of storage space. Bed huge and very comfortable with good pillows. Good blackout curtains. Room had a small refrigerator which was very useful and there was a good coffee machine. There was a large TV with wide choice of stations. The bathroom was large, very clean and had a powerful over-bath shower with good choice of shampoo, conditioner etc. The room was quiet and we slept very well.
Cons: We stayed 4 days and, as expected with covid, there was no room service each day. It would have been good to have a trash collection site which we could have left things each morning.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location is good. Room is outdated, It was clean.
Cons: Bed was not comfortable. Furniture outdated, needs replacement.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Bigger bathroom and upstairs noise transferred downstairs
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: place was clean, location good,
Cons: We had no air conditioning and it was hot, room was small, plastic cups in bathroom so not environmentally friendly, parking added another almost $50 to our booking.com bill,
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location. Spacious suite with stocked kitchen, pull-out couch. Nice pool, sauna, hot tub.
Cons: Could use a refresh (it's old feeling) however I'm afraid that will raise the price too much.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location. Great staff.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Just a short walk from Parliament, harbor, and all the fun of Victoria. Found several nice markets nearby as well. Clean apartment-type room. Very clean with a great little kitchenette! Quaint, cute, charming, nice parking.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great location !!
Cons: There was no air flow. The windows didnt open and no fans
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Wonderful front end staff. Great location can walk to everything. Very nice facilities. Rooms are very comfortable.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Facilities great, staff great.
Cons: Parking was a bit of a pain, had to park one block away
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was perfect, super clean, king room had a soaker tub, spacious enough - a gem.
Cons: Nada.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff were excellent, F&B also very good
Cons: lack of bottled water in the room, complementary or for sale would have been appreciated.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good breakfast options ; coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit, yougurt. Great location. Able to walk everywhere. Valet parking worth it ; $16/day anyways to park in the parkade nearby, so pay the $22 and they can park and bring you your car. Just call down or ask at front desk for when you want to pick it up.
Cons: Add more breakfast options. Or have restaurant open for some grill or griddle options.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved our stay at Hotel Rialto. The location is fantastic, it's in downtown Victoria and we were able to walk to pretty much everything except Butchart Gardens. Our room was clean and beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the food in the breakfast room was good. Parking was very close by in a reasonably priced garage (hourly, up to $12/day as of August 2015). I loved Victoria and plan to go back, and when I do I will stay at the Rialto!
Good 6,8
Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Shower drained very slow causing over an inch of water to pool in the bottom every time you used it. Bed was not comfy at all. Room was a lot smaller than i expected.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurants downstairs were fantastic! The bathrooms had radiant heated floors, which was a nice touch.

Good 7,0
Pros: Everything in general
Cons: The parking
Okay 5,0
Pros: I liked 👍clean washroom and beads
Cons: Rooms are to small, very noisy, menu very limited, Coffee maker was dusty
Good 6,0
Pros: Good location, suite was spacious
Cons: Very expensive pet fees, as well as an extra $30 per night taxes plus parking. Suite could have been cleaner, found old contact lenses stuck to night stand and in the corners of bathroom floor.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Location in Victoria BC was great . Suite was very adequate ,bed very comfortable. Suite had it's own temperature control and worked perfectly.
Cons: Construction on the building started at 8am and was deafening . You couldn't hear someone 2ft away ,jack hammers going right above us non-stop. Turned a vacation into a very uncomfortable situation. I had the Mgr. listen over the phone and got a 'whatever' response. Should have been some compensation but nothing offered. PS. I was not informed about construction when booking.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location, nice staff, comfortable rooms albeit snug even when getting the king suite. Cookies are a nice touch.
Cons: The exterior is in need of renovations, which they are doing, but there are chunks of concrete missing from parts of the balconies …so would not recommend using lest something land on your head. Also we had to zip tie balcony door closed, so could not open-as it did not lock off properly- an important consideration with a crazy toddler running around. For those without crazy kids, probably not an issue.
Good 6,0
Pros: Very nice staff and very friendly for pets.
Cons: Parking was difficult.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean room. Nice view.
Cons: The desk was laughably small to use for working or eating.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The location of the building and views were amazing!
Cons: The elevators are an awkward design, but not a deal breaker
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Close to all the downtown activities, staff was helpful and proactive, held our luggage while waiting for room (we showed up early)
Cons: Hotel room on small side, doesn't have shuttle at all
Okay 4,0
Cons: No room was ready so we had to wait hors in the front lobby with small kids
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly staff very nice rooms
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rooms were very nice and the location was quite convenient to everything. I was in a queen suite with two nice tvs, refrigerator and microwave, and very comfortable beds. The walkout balcony was a bonus.
Cons: Valet parking could be difficult as there was only space for a few cars at a time. The bar at the bottom level was very popular, so much so that I wasn't allowed to enter as they were at capacity. I took my business elsewhere. The balcony door didn't seal super well, so there was a bit of a draft in that area.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: We had a king suite. Nice to have a living room and bedroom separate with 2 nice TVs. Bed was comfy. Room was updated and clean.
Cons: The couch in the living area was small and a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: I was very impressed with the location and professional etiquette of the staff and the club employees in general. Private clubs of this stature are often not open to the public to view for non-members. The rooms are older style which we enjoy (I own a 1939 retrofitted and updated house) and it has been kept in excellent condition in the original posh Victorian style with the furniture and carpeting and has the oldest functioning elevator in British Columbia. Along with excellent upgrades in updated lighting and the bathroom in the rooms (excellent rain showerhead and optional normal showerhead - shower only), it is an impressive hotel to view with thick ancient timber woodwork coating the corridors and stairwells and thick lush updated carpeting recalling posh Victorian era times. We enjoyed some unique drinks in the grand sitting room but while the meals in the private dining restaurant on site looked inventive and reasonably priced for a hotel, there was not enough broad choices for my business and family guests so we could not use the facilities to eat in.
Cons: -The modern shower did not have anywhere to place soap or shampoos (no elevated soap dish of any kind) which meant we had to open the glass doors to reach shampoos etc on the modern sink area which in and of itself was too small to hold anything of any size. I recommend putting something in the shower stall area to facilitate that. -The only place to put ones toiletries was a small thin glass plate placed above the toilet as the modern updated sink had no space and there was no other storage anywhere in the bathroom. We stood to lose some of our things down the toilet if the toilet lid wasn't put down should we be in any haste! - The room had no properly set area for sitting down and preparing makeup for my wife to sit at as the Victorian business desk provided, while in vogue with the era of the hotel, was too small and inadequate. Further, working at the desk was impossible again for the small cramped reason. This speaks to the size of the room which in my opinion was not adequate for two people (a double bed being beside the point). - The bed mattress had not been turned or flipped in ages so had slumped in the area of the upper back and was considerably more soft than it should have been but we did get a good night's sleep nevertheless (quiet and safe feeling in the hotel) and fortunately my back did not feel any pain but it took a while to get to sleep. - There was a lot of dust on the lower part of a Victorian fold-up section of the business desk mentioned above which, obviously, had not been folded up for a long while. I would alert housekeeping. - Unimpressive view - As non-members, we had to park at a secure location two blocks away rather than in the more convenient member parking secure lot close by. On weekends, this meant we needed to bring a parking key pass to get our car and then return it to the hotel before leaving on our day trips. On the Saturday, I forgot to bring the pass (thinking it would have someone on a Saturday working).
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location and nice facilities
Cons: No air conditioning, bed too soft and pillows were not very good
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The ambience, friendliness, class and old world charm combined with incredible cleanliness were amazing and often not found these days. We LOVED IT and will be returning first chance we get!
Cons: NOTHING! We LOVED everything about The Inn and can't wait to go again. Spent an hour in the BEAUTIFUL OLD LIBRARY AND then more time in the Sitting Room...PEACE which is very rare these days.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Classy stile and very good located in the heart of the city
Cons: hard to find a parking nearby
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great Place in the center of Victoria. lots of Charm. love to return
Excellent 9,0
Cons: No AC
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Location was in perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Hotel had great character. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The staff didn't provide much direction on hotel amenities.
Good 7,7
Pros: Overall a nice old hotel, but I would not say that it is a luxury stay. Breakfast was very good and included with the cost of the room, so that was actually a treat Restaurant has a dress code, so keep that in mind before you pack.
